Grrrrrrr! Use that grumpiness, BB, focus it into something useful. Perhaps bake some bread?

Nutty, so sorry you are still feeling so rough. Hot water bottle/ wheat bags?

New to-do list:
Write letter to budski
Reply to 2 e-mails

Boff over here, presto!

Juwesm · 03/03/2009 13:32

BB - print list of questions (with tick boxes) to ask - go in with it in your hand - then you will have to make yourself chat.

Shall I have a look at webchat? I have not read any of that stuff.

Schulte · 03/03/2009 13:32

Ju LOL at definition of cervix dust...

This would be my one question Juw

  1. When is it going to come out? If you can't help me with that then I don't want to see you EVER again!

I can genuinely understand for the first time ever why some people chose elective cs'!

Sorry all the newbies - am not normally so grumpy!!

Schulte · 03/03/2009 13:37

Aww BB you're not grumpy, just having an off day... seeing as we're all seriously pregnant, we excuse and love you even if you are grouchy today!!
and proffers cup of hot choc with virtual Bailey's in... for medicinal qualities!

Good luck with MW...

BabyBolat · 03/03/2009 13:39

I am going to pack it in in a minute promise! After my easter egg munching yesterday I banned chocolate from the house for a week (BOY am I regretting that!!!)

BoffinMum · 03/03/2009 13:39

I drained the water out of the temperamental washing machine instead of posting, as it seemed to stop mid-programme. Found 1p, some fluff and a bra wire of DD's.

Just what I need to happen before the birth - boiler packing up and washing machine being moody.

22 minutes of strong will to go. I ahve even thought up an ace question about whether Direct Grant schools should be re-nationalised (they were effectively privatised in the 1975 after being state schools between 1944-1975).

I AM STRONG! MY CERVIX IS RIPENING! MY SURGES WILL ALLOW ME TO BIRTH EASILY! I WILL NOT POST!!

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 03/03/2009 13:40

ooooh BB we've (stupidly) given up dessert for Lent... like I haven't had to give up EVERYTHING else while pregnant, but I reckon if it's not eaten after a savoury meal, it doesn't count as pudding - right???

BoffinMum · 03/03/2009 13:40

Nutty, come and get me then!!!

kazkiss · 03/03/2009 13:40

must go now back hurts need nap....

BoffinMum · 03/03/2009 13:41

Considering painting my nails so I can't type for the next 20 minutes.

SpringySunshine · 03/03/2009 13:42

I've read everything, but just can't focus to catch up properly, I'm afraid

Nutty - glad you're not stuck in hospital with anything horrid, but sounds pretty crappy regardless. I was a bit worried that you were going to be hit with pre-eclampsia or something last night, so at least that's a relief. I really hope that your doctor will be able to sort something out for you this afternoon - you of all people don't deserve anything else going wrong

I'm beginning to come around to the idea of reusable nappies, but only from a financial point of view (environment? PAH! Sod the landfills & all that ) - we don't have a garden or anything though & only a small flat, so would have to tumble dry at least a fair proportion of reusables - between that & the vast quantities of laundry, do you think that it's worth it at all? Or is the difference so negligible that the convenience of disposables will still win?

Boff, I don't see how it is that some women can be hooked up to a drip & not pop out a baby, but others can't hold onto theirs long enough for the baby to even be okay Nature is stupid. That is my scientific conclusion of the day.

& stay away from that chat - we don't want you leaving us because of some of the stupid women over there!

Juwesm · 03/03/2009 13:42

Anybody else around here a planned caesar?

Yes, chocolate, very wise. Or bowl of cereal.

Have been over for peek at webchat - mostly very confusing, what with questions and answers all over the place. All a bit political for me, I'm afraid. Plus, I don't know who the woman is or what she writes about, just unimpressed by the fact that she says she didn't read any other books on the subject (whatever that may be) before writing her own. I do love thorough research.

So, Boff, really not worth going over there. Dull, dull, no cervix dust, no cake, no Ritter Sport.

Schulte · 03/03/2009 13:42

Why all this giving up sweets? You must be mad ladies. Give up something else... carrots or apples...

Schulte · 03/03/2009 13:44

Or sex... (runs and hides from Springy et al)

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 03/03/2009 13:45

it seems you have been good i will let you off for now lol

bb - you're still lovely even when moody

OP posts:
BoffinMum · 03/03/2009 13:45

Right thing to say, Juwesm.
xxxx

I will have to love you forever now. That was the point I made earlier in the thread. Read a couple of books first before you write one yourself. They called me elitist for saying that.

Juwesm · 03/03/2009 13:45

I have a colleague who has given up swearing - difficult, maybe, but no need to then deprive self of nutrients.
