This is very much like Instant Messenger, where by the time you have typed your response, you are already behind with the conversation.

kaz the terry nappies are very cheap initially, although they require practice at first to get the hang of folding, they are very quick drying, can be tumbled. Not a terry saleswoman or anything, just showing that it's not a huge hassle.

tristaleejac · 03/03/2009 12:57

No apologies necessary!!!

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 03/03/2009 12:57

Yep - boys and their toys!! My DH has downloaded all sorts of preggie-related apps onto his iPhone, so he can tell me exactky how big the baby is each week, how popular various name choices are, what the cheapest price is for baby gear online... bless him...

Juwesm · 03/03/2009 12:58

Back to literature for a moment - has anybody read Wetlands yet (I was lurking around a thread on grotty habits, as you do, and made me think of it)? This seems like a well-read group. I'm not sure I can stomach it, so if someone else could read and feedback, that would be great!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 03/03/2009 12:58

i personally like the phrase Assumptin is the mother of all F*ck ups lol

Juwesm · 03/03/2009 12:58

Preggy iPhone apps - don't think DH has thought of that. May have to suggest it, so I can keep hold of laptop longer!

Juwesm · 03/03/2009 12:59

Is it wrong that I keep posting here instead of reading lovely hand-written letter from best friend in America?

tristaleejac · 03/03/2009 13:00

yes, go read letter then come back for more nonsense

kazkiss · 03/03/2009 13:01

Juwesm · 03/03/2009 13:03

Is true, have been writing letter to her since January and have managed about two pages. Have typed more than that on here in last 24 hours.

Have read 2 pages. Back for more now.

Where is all the smut today?

tristaleejac · 03/03/2009 13:04

I could get very dirty in response to your question kaz.........wetlands ha ha

kazkiss · 03/03/2009 13:04

thanks smutty. Yes must see how barberelly gets on.

need to lie down for a bit i think, getting back spasms and baby boy is stuck in my ribs again!

kazkiss · 03/03/2009 13:06

have managed to lie down and keep laptop on sofa so no need to run away...

Juwesm · 03/03/2009 13:06

Wetlands, I believe, is all about some filthy grotty woman and her filthy grotty habits, but is possibly meant to be a feminist treatise on why women have to confirm to modern male requirements for women to be clean, and plucked free of stray hairs and the like.

Extract from letter (wise lady):

"How is it that cats always smell so good, and dogs always smell so bad?"

tristaleejac · 03/03/2009 13:07

hooray for laptops! I'm vegging on sofa with dad's laptop it's great not having to sit at PC

Juwesm · 03/03/2009 13:07

Could someone fill me in on BBs magic cervix dust? I missed that on the old thread.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 03/03/2009 13:08
