Got a postive test last thursday, (and one everyday since ) after 4 long years of trying .
anybody else due in november?

Kyte that?s because our first one was an accident and a lovely one too!

Kyte is a new system - they've been taken over by a private company I think - but is still NHS... anyway - now have booking appointment for Monday. If it was more I urgent I'd definately go straight to A&E or the Walk in Centre!

Just been in the garden pruning, nearly passed out, now I just want to sleep!

Just phoned the doctors, did the hospital test they wanted me to do - called for the reults which still aren't back yet so they still won't make me a booking appointment with the MW and I still won't get my scan date

Have found that place that does private scans on a saturday, might do that!

Going away over Easter weekend and I'd ike to know everything was ok before then

Fancy coming to do our garden too Newhere? I wouldn't want you fainting in the garden though.

I'm sitting here eating a mini mars and doing a bit of work (I am a freelancer) while DS2 sleeps upstairs. We went to a toddler group this morning and by 9.30am I was starving. 'Snack time' is at 10.30am so I had to wait an agonizing hour before I could eat anything! This constant hunger thing is great!

I'm envious too of all your with scan dates. I need to get on and phone my doctors to at least get on the system.

Had a lovely afternoon (not) in the Royal Free yesterday. Had spotting at lunchtime and sod's law had upset stomach and could not tell if strange feeling was that or something sinister. Had scan and everything is where it should be and they could see a yoke sack (am 5 weeks +1) and also what seems to be an implant bleed. They said there would be no real cause for concern at all apart from the inconclusive stomach ache. Anyway, had convinced myself it was a mc so on the whole feel it was good news. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

roomac glad your scan showed all is going well and is where it's supposed to be.

becky I seem to eat from the moment I wake (literally as there are oatcakes on my bedside!) right the way through to lunch. It eases off later but the rate I'm going I'll be the size of a house!

Rang the hospital and got the result sent through - have now got booking in appointment for 1st April 11:00 Yeah

Do you know what the really stupid thing is though - even though I've done (ummmm lost count now ) pg tests I was still convinced the hospital test would come back negative!! Give me strength FGS!!

Am 6 + 1 today and my symptoms are not that bad... but am not actually 'enjoying' feling liek this.. Am feeling bit guilty for feeling like that is it just me?

iggy i"m sure I wasn't this bad 15 years ago but I think that's because there wasn't so much information around in those days and you couldn't get 'early' tests or conception indicators!!

When i went for my first scan with my eldest I never even considered that there would be anything wrong and I was already 4 1/2 months with my little baby surprise who arrived 14 months after!

Now I just want to see a heart beat (and if I'm honest check there aren't two!)

I know we all just need to relax and not try and judge the way we should or shouldn't feel and that so don't worry iggy i guess we're all a bit like that!

Only see DP at weekends so it's really hard he's not there just to say stuff to every now and again iykwim

newhere you go on as much as you like. I'm with you on the too much info bit - with dd 15 years ago, I did the test and then that was it. Got on with it all. Same with ds 4 years ago. It's only the m/c's in between that's made me more jittery I think.

Now I'm wishing the next 5 weeks away so that the ms disappears!

Thanks scarlotti sometimes think it would be nice just to go to sleep for 5 weeks and wake up at the scan

I really those of you with scan dates!
As I still haven't heard from anybody (hospital or midwife) even though I had left a note for my GP about my hospital choice two and a half weeks ago and (if you remember me moaning about it) had asked again 10 days ago when the receptionist assured me that it had been dealt with. At this moment I was sure it was a lie but at least I thought they would deal with it right after I had left the building.
So today, I called them again and talked to another receptionist. Well, apparentely my doctor has been away for a while and will come back on monday. Then she put me on hold just to tell me 30 seconds later that an other doctor would refer me. And that it would always be good to take someones name...
Well, I guess I shouldn't even get angry about that (but I will certainly complain about it), I am sure everything is fine with the baby, I have some symptoms so I know that I am pregnant but they are only very light so I am not really suffering. I didn't have any bleeding or big pain so far, my familiy is happy, even my boss. I guess I am really happy to only have "administrative" problems. And luckily there ist this thread to get at least some sort of care

i guess im due first week of november, but dont know if i can keep the baby as i had such terrible experiences twice before and they almost killed my little boy in cheeltenham general due to stupidity and neglicence and the list goes on.

im so terrified to give birth again, i dont know if i want another baby.

i looked but i cant find an alternative round here either as i dont drive and dont have any money to waste.

any input and advice appreciated.

syskywalker - sorry to hear about your terrible experience and your feelings. I don't have any advice but I think it's true that every pregnancy is different and a new start. So this time everything might be very easy and without any problems.

ursigurke i too havnt heard from the hospital - midwifes based there only so have no date for booking in appointment or the scan! i called the gp apparently paperwork sent on 11th so just waiting! I WANT PROOF

ursi I feel for you I had to practically sort it myself!! I think my clearblue reception plan was a good one

Seriously considering an early scan afterall I probably spent 55 on wine and take aways before I started incubating my little button, really think I need the reassurance, just got to convince DP!

sky sorry to hear about your previous experience but I think you need to speak to a professional, I don't think here is the right place for you to find the help you need.

koumak - at least they gave you a date when they sent it. But I have the same feeling, I want proof. I don't mind getting an appointment after 12 weeks as long as i would get a letter telling me "your first appointment will be on ..." (as long as if it is before November )

Komac can't you call the hospital and make sure they have received the paperwork?

P.S I just counted there are 58 of us now!!!!
