That's a deal GYo!!!

lastboxoftampons · 05/02/2009 17:36

Oooh, good call OS - Bruce Willis coming out of the shower in Pulp Fiction. Have paused that DVD on that bit more than once!

Diege

Astarte I don't think Bill is going to be satisfied with your "conversation" - as brilliant as I'm sure it is!

Diege · 05/02/2009 17:44

Off now as dh back with dd3...I feel for you SES with your catch-up!
Speak tomorrow - sweet dreams

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 05/02/2009 17:49

Bye Diege- will interogate DH and drop you a message but he is away tonight so wont be til weekend

Sesthinks2009willbeagreatyear · 05/02/2009 17:50

Diege - I've skimmed it all and am stretching my pg brain memory skills

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 05/02/2009 17:53

Ses- are you expecting another 8inches tomorrow too? Snow, obviously!

Got to go to office tomorrow as its my last day before maternity leave but could be snowed in again!

kayzr · 05/02/2009 17:55

I have had a really good giggle this afternoon.

OP posts:
GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 05/02/2009 17:57

me too Kay, not laughed so much for ages

Sesthinks2009willbeagreatyear · 05/02/2009 17:59

I'm hoping no more snow as I have to get from home (between Gatwick and Croydon) down to Hastings by 9.30am. I really don't like driving in ice.

I'm meant to be going round to a friend's tonight. Nothing special, we just take it n turns to host every couple of weeks so we get to catch up. She only lives about 15mins away but I'm debating whether to go or not as I slid back down my road this evening when I got home from work. Feel a bit bad though as she'll have bought me my dinner and be cooking it.
Actually, I think I'll wait for DH to come home and he can tell me what he thinks of the road.

Btw we still have about 3" of compacted snow/ice covering our road! (Don't mind about the garden as that still looks pretty)

Sesthinks2009willbeagreatyear · 05/02/2009 18:01

LOL at 8"

On Monday, I was on the phone to my Area Manager and he and DH were laughing about DH's tape measure in his pocket measuring our 12" of snow!! They've never even met each other but seem to have a v similar sense of humour...

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 05/02/2009 18:05

there have been far too many jokes about the number of inches around here....

at my obvious smut

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 05/02/2009 18:06

Hope you make right decision about dinner at your friends Ses. I had an antenatal class that I'd decided not to go to for the same reason- fortuantely its just been cancelled....

DH reckons I shouldnt drive in snow given my "condition"

Sesthinks2009willbeagreatyear · 05/02/2009 18:14

Oh, meant to say also with all the talk of accents on here, my DH has a v v lovely broad southern irish accent

ohsnap · 05/02/2009 18:26

Ooh, lovely Ses! We have an Irish surname but that's as far as it goes If DH tries to sound Irish (or anything else for that matter) he sounds either Welsh or South African!

tinkisluvingbeingamummyagain · 05/02/2009 18:43

lardybump · 05/02/2009 20:53

you have all made me laugh this evening i missed a great afternoon.....

tink DD was born at 8lb 4 oz on the 75th centile. She went down to 7 lb in two weeks and dropped 3 centiles. After that she gained small amounts sometimes only a couple of oz but stayed on the 25th centile. She is nearly two and is still on the 25th.. dr said she was born to big to what she should of been and that as long as she finds her own centile and sticks to it he is happy so please try not to worry to much.....

No infection Dr doesn't know what it is so i am going to treat myself for thrush and leave it at that.... Midwife is giving me a S&S at 39 weeks and if no luck I am being induced the following week.... yay......

lardybump · 05/02/2009 20:54

kayzr · 05/02/2009 20:56

Sparklytwinkletoes · 05/02/2009 22:14

Goodness you did waffle! Am very at some of your secret fancies.... ewwww

My secret crush is Alan Rickman, its all very wrong! (He's always getting put in tight trousers, Sheriff of Notts in Robin Hood, prince of thieves, and thingymebob in Sense and Sensibility, and even as Snape in the Harry Potter films) Lots of lovely cape swishing too.

More this than this though!!!

Either him or the rather delicious sean bean.

Oh well, takes all sorts to make the world go round! (I'll never forget the Nadal/Bill Bailey things though)

LTE has asked me to point you in the direction of FB so that she can stay in touch, hope that's ok.

Hope all are well, sorry for the me, me, posts of late - am v concerned about you astarte - you def. sound ready to pop to me, so hope the MW does her stuff for you.

Love to all, x

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 05/02/2009 22:24

Quick hi STT- glad you are ok, and keep the posts coming as much as you need. We clearly havent got anything else worthy to talk about judging by using a 1/3 of new thread on talking rubbish!

Didnt respond to an earlier post about us still being around when your time comes- we deinfately will be- we are all so excited about the wagon births coming up, Im sure we will be mad keen for the new birth anticipation by then you might succeed in knocking a few of the earlier arrivals to jump back off the wagon too- that would be an achievement

Glad LTE will be in touch via FB group. Please tell her that Im AJ on there.

kayzr · 06/02/2009 06:19

Morning,

Up nice and early for my 7am GP appointment. What an unsociable time for a bloody appointment.

STT, Sean Bean How did I forget Sean Bean!!! He is lovely!!

Of course we will still be here silly!! We'll probably all still be here when we are old with grey hair!!!! I will not be knocked of the Wagon until Sept 2010 at the earlist!!

Hope you are all ok and had sweet dreams
