Again as long as he understand not to cut in to the MN time that will be fine!!!

SpringySunshine · 04/02/2009 17:26

He's intending to wear a suit that he already has, but buy a new shirt. Apparently it's grey & lovely, but I've not actually seen it It's currently at his family home & he's going to pick it up on Friday, I think. We'll see.

I suppose next I have to work out what I'm doing with hair & make-up. I'm useless at both, so will need professional help. I should've got it booked today, but time's completely fluttered out of the window & I was more worried about a dress more than anything.

I also need to find a hotel. I've still not mentioned it to DP because he's bound to think that it's girly nonsense because we have a bed here, so I'm going to wait until I've found something lovely to say 'oooh, look!' at

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 04/02/2009 17:26

Tee hee... that Bottom Spray sounds fascinating!! Can you imagine me asking DH to apply some - and what his face will look like???

I've just come across this that is too funny for words... WHY oh WHY would you smuggle pigeons into the country? Something exotic I can understand, but PIGEONS????

And how hairy are his legs???? tee hee...

Haha, Nutty. The magical cure-all that is the Xbox I'm all too familiar with that. There's nothing that can't be solved by a few hours shooting people in the face

BabyBolat · 04/02/2009 17:29

Healing cream or balancing those bottom blues... I don't know but mama's bottom spray???!!!

Bleuravin · 04/02/2009 17:29

Happy to make you smile. I've had 4 independent people tell me that it really helped after a VB...soothing and cooling which made sitting bareable... so I figured what the hell... with perineum massage going on before hand why not some cooling bum spray afterwards... supposedly good for hemorids (sp) too.

SpringySunshine · 04/02/2009 17:29

Ohhhh, I'm going to laugh so hard that my pelvic floor's going to just give up entirely if you don't stop with your bottom spray & hairy-legged pigeon smuggling!

Wow - just popped out for a bit and there seem to have been about 200 posts while I've been away. Great that such progress is being made on Springy's wedding. Yay!

I think that dress is an excellent choice. Best of all you will be able to wear it again. If you need to dress up in future pregnancies that will be perfect, or you can sell it on and recoup some of the dosh (I don't like the idea of having something really lovely that only gets worn once, even if my own wedding dress is still wrapped up in the wardrobe....)

And Bleu - that fanjo spray looks just the job. Why have I never heard of it before. Brilliant!

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 04/02/2009 17:40

Better than pigeon poop, I'm sure....

Ok, Ok, that's the last one... i'd hate to be the cause of a live labour thread!!

I just showed DP the bum spray & although he did find the name amusing he was more concerned with the price of it considering where it'll be sprayed. It's just as well he doesn't know how much the Dr Hauschka rose oil was, for example. I shall be buying some bum spray too. He can just shush it up.

& yes, I thought that LuLu - it's a fairly versatile dress, so shouldn't be too wasteful.
