I oddly quite want sex now. Stupid hormones. I think it was the 'several long minutes' that got me

Haha, I'm not sure. But I would really like several long minutes of lovely sex right now. Sadly we're just playing online Monopoly instead

Yeah, I bet you don't often get snow on your birthday. Was DD pleased to be home from school early?

Aww, bless If I stand close behind DP, the LO kicks him up the bum. It makes him doing the washing up all the more entertaining

conkertree · 05/02/2009 20:35

wow just logged on again after getting ds to bed and its time for a new thread - how many days was that?

sounds like you had a great day nutty - see you all on the other side.

Swaliswan · 05/02/2009 20:40

Evening all.

I don't post for a few days out of sheer exhaustion (and far too much time spent grouting tiles, cleaning, talking to estate agents and fitting new floors etc) and I come back to find the thread almost full!

No major new updates here. Had a relatively good birthday yesterday although I did get into trouble with my boss for something that was her fault. DH is currently at Tesco for those of you who remember last week's performance. We've already had an argument about it even though I tried to write the list the way that he wanted and left loads of things up to him to choose. He clearly did not want to go. He kept wanting to only get the bare minimum and get other meals in a few days time. The problem is that in a few days time, he still won't want to go. He says that he doesn't see the point in him doing the shopping (depsite me struggling to reach the pedals in our car now and barely being able to push the trolley). He wouldn't sit down and discuss what we NEED properly until I burst out with 'fine don't go then and DD won't have any breakfast in the morning!' before bursting into tears. I don't know why he can't just be a grown up and do the Tesco shop without fussing. He moans if I put a specific product on the list but he also moans if I just name something because he doesn't know what to choose! He moaned last week that he couldn't ask enough questions because I was busy doing jobs and told him that I didn't want to be on the other end of the phone for the entire shop. This week I tell him that he can phone as much as he wants and then he moans about that because it takes him longer to shop if he's asking me questions on the phone!

He doesn't mind doing it if he only has to do the shopping when he feels like it and can buy loads of crap but no actual meals. He was better before we had DD but now I think he feels that he has to choose good food.
