Kitty, really good to know that you got to see your dad before he went. How is he?

I am intending to spend the day swishing I may even allow photographs after all!

& I think you're all right on the pink bolero thing.

BabyBolat · 04/02/2009 16:22

I was the youngest by my sisters are only 1 year apart in school and I was 3 years below (even though there is only 2 years between us each in age) and they had very similar tastes whereas as I was a bit different!

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 04/02/2009 16:23

Thank heavens.... For Google-Woogle!! {{sung to the tune from Gigi..}}

Dad is OK - a bit shaken cos it was so quick but he's looking forward to spending some time with my sister and Gran.

I think your jacket should match your shoes as much as possible depending on what you go for! Order the dress and then check the shoes, if not, I would just go around town and find some nice ones that you are comfy in!

BabyBolat · 04/02/2009 16:28

Kitty so glad your dad is ok and you got to give him a hug!!

Funnily we all get on ridiculously well now but growing up i didn't really fit in all that well with them

Shoes:

maybe too plain

BabyBolat · 04/02/2009 16:38

Also Springy it only costs about £20 to get shoes dyed so you can always get a cream pair and get them matched!

BabyBolat · 04/02/2009 16:39

I've just remembered how ugly some bridal shoes are!!!

Nutty, love the frosty pink shrug - lovely vintage look.

HURAAAAAAAAAY! I have just had news from my boss that I am to work at home whenever I need to from now on. Result! I can almost feel my pelvis getting better already at the prospect feet-up laptop working.

Sorry to be so euphoric when so many of you are still in such pain but I am so relieved.

Springy, you are NOT to attempt to get married without having MANY photographs taken which you will then show IMMEDIATELY to US.

I am going for 4 threads... as the planning alone will get through a thread in a couple of days

SpringySunshine · 04/02/2009 16:54

Ooh, you lot are so helpful I really do love you xx

I actually really like those shoes, BB - they're really cute. What do you think of the colour? I'm really not sure how it'd all look together & obviously can't try things properly until I get the dress. I'm a bit style blind, so... Would it be possible to dye that kind of leather shoe, do you think? I've only had it done with satin shoes before...

& I love the furry bolero / shrug idea. Very wintery chic

You might not need to - worth popping in to topshop or ordering them and seeing what they look like with the outfit and all together (as you may have white flowers etc) and they have a kind of pinky tinge to the leather it looks like! If you order them you can take them back to any topshop if you change your mind!!

What size shoe are you?
