As BB will tell you, slebs are masters of PR and if you believe they are, shall we say, always in their natural state, then you were born yesterday!

There is a whole network of happy helpers on Harley Street who tidy people up after childbirth and so on ...

Bleuravin · 04/02/2009 15:32

What do you do with a friend who constantly gets taken advantage by girls because he's... well... simple to put it nicely. He thinks that buying them gifts will get them to stay...

Bleuravin · 04/02/2009 15:33

It rains everyday btw in Hawaii... but it does clear up nicely I'm told

Does everyone in the western world want to live in a cottage off the beaten track raising their own veg? Dh and I were just talking about that too...

What are you sorry for nutty?

Oh Boff is right although I don't think Davina has had too much work done as she is quite up and down in terms of weight and figure!

Bleuravin · 04/02/2009 15:39

I wish I could. He's super sweet, and very generous and romantic, but these girls really do take advantage. They're not even his type, but he doesn't see it...he's just enamoured and taken in by beauty...

I think as a minimum he would like 5 but I think he would like to have about 8 (he is not getting either - think 4 would be the maximum!)

conkertree · 04/02/2009 15:40

thanks for that bb - knew about two of those things so must have picked up a little gossip along the way. shame about robbie though as I have tickets for their gig in June in Glasgow, and was slightly hopeful that he might make an appearance.

any news on george clooney and whether he is gay? read about it on a mn thread - is apparently common knowledge in LA - dont think it would put most people off fancying him though - him being gay would not be the only reason he wouldnt just rock up on your doorstep one day and suggest getting together.

BabyBolat · 04/02/2009 15:40

or I just get the glamour magazine celeb gossip daily email direct to my inbox!!!

SpringySunshine · 04/02/2009 15:42

Ooh, I knew most of that gossip - well done to whoever left 'Closer' on the train

I have decided on this one. It's not as traditionally beautiful as some of the others, but it's only a very small registry office thing anyway - even if I wasn't pregnant I would probably be wary of one of the gorgeous princessy dresses. & it's a fair bit cheaper, so I now have more money to spend on other things.

Right.

(I am reading everything you're all saying - sorry I'm not joining in, but you're keeping me sane with your normal chatter, so thanks )

it makes me so frustrated grrr, sometimes ladies I hate the others of our sub-group...

conkertree · 04/02/2009 15:43

wow bb thats a fair brood if he fancies 8 - i always wonder how you'd transport them. 4 sounds like a nice number though - not sure we could afford the bigger house etc.

i think i'd like 3 - definitely would like more than 2, but as I say 4 might reuqire too many changes that were outwith our financial abilities.

oh and bleu - i think smallholdings will be the way to go before long with food prices on the rise, and buying local being more popular. would love to see more French style markets as a regular occurrence (sp?) instead of just the odd farmers market that you get here from time to time.

BabyBolat · 04/02/2009 15:44

Nutty - Both! 10 kids in his family and he sees family as the centre of his life so wants a big one!

Springy - Love that dress (please don't get shoes like that tho - sorry if anyone likes them!!!)

that is a shame bleu - but without being rudely honest with him (or maybe just honest - depends on how you look at it), there maybe isnt a lot you can do to help him. just very frustrating to watch.

springy - well done on making a decision - you will look beautiful. come on then - whats next - i'm champing at the bit to see what else you will arrange - are you having flowers at all?

Bleuravin · 04/02/2009 15:47

When DH and I first meet he said he wasn't sure he wanted kids... I crossed him off my list as possible life partner from the start because of it... now he's talking of having about 4! He thinks any more might cause too much trouble because we'd need a mini-bus..

Bleuravin · 04/02/2009 15:49

Springy that is a lovely dress. Good choice.
