Here goes-I got a BFP on DPO 11 which makes me due 1st October. Was going to avoid the antenatal thread until I was completely sure but have already done 3 tests and am still not convinced. Come on and join in the worry fun.

Hi i'm just popping my head in. I got my BFP yesterday and I think I could be due on 1/10/09.
BUT .. It could be the end of sept so I'm introducing myself but I might just lurk.

This is quite unexpected for us we were not planning to try for a while yet.

I already have a DD who is 2 in February. Hope everyone is OK, I'm feeling a bit 'nervous' in my tummy and not very hungry.

Peachy welcome, I am lurking a little as I have tested early and received a BFP... but all will be confirmed tomorrow as AF arrives then!! Welcome, its better when its unexpected. I have a DD aged 2 and 6 months and I got my BFP the first time trying!! which was a shock. So here I am again hoping that this bean will stick!

just put a picture on my profile ,nurse was very shocked when she saw me today and kept asking me if i was sure about the dates
i only had my implant removed on the 22nd of december

I'm normally a petite 10-12 but this bulge just appeared this past week

Wow, theboob that's not a bad bump for 5 weeks - do you think it's because you've already got 3 dcs? If so, I can expect the same! My stomach muscles finally gave up the ghost after ds.

I'm not going to go to the doctors for a few weeks yet either - although may make an appointment soon because it takes about 3 weeks to get one at my surgery anyway.

Idreamofbeanie, my scan is booked for 18th March. You can have them done between 11 and 14 weeks so if I've got my sums right that will be ok for me. Not planning to tell anyone in RL until after then; may never tell my mum she's going to kill me! Have had mc in the past so hoping to make it that far.

I seam to be losing weight which is fine by me as i'm still holding a good extra stone of weight.

just having a cleaning day today as the house isn't looking its best, bit of a mission with ds as he seems to destroy as i clean. But at least it will be clean if a little messy. Can't imagine what will happen when i have two to look after....? Will have to cross that bridge when i come to it .

One of my close friends had her baby the same day as i go my BFP and she is a little sweetie making me very broody. Think i will pop round on Tuesday when her dp is back at work with some home cooked freezable food and pink cupcakes!

I wonder what ds will make of her?...

hello all,not sure why i have a bump already,my stomach muscles gave up after last pg but i had worked hard to get them going tight again,my stomach was very flat,i'm a little worried as 2 sets of non-identical twins have just been born in my family,it would just be my luck to try for one more and get 2
god knows how i would cope,DH thinks it would be the best thing ever

Theboob - I am jealous, you look lovely! And you are a size 10-12 normally, cor, am impressed.

i have had weird pains today, in my cervix! So am a bit worried but no cramps and no bleeding which will take as a good sign. I am having a private scan in 2 weeks, so will just have to wait til then!

Hello! been reading threads with interest...am due 2nd october, with what will be 2nd child. Still v excited, but also a bit worried as how will cope with 2 - ds will be nearly 2 in oct!
Is reassuring to know am not only one having cramps/low back pressure, although seem to remember having same with ds.

Have had DD1's school friend round for tea and a play tonight and I am knackered! Also seem to be bursting out of my trousers but this is probably due to me not dieting anymore. Looked at maternity jeans in Mothercare-£20 so a bargain but my dad will have to turn them up as they don't come in extra short. Will be 5 weeks tomorrow Don't know if I can hold out until Sunday to do my digital conception test. I am going to ring the MW if I get to 9 weeks then that gives her 3 weeks to book me in for a scan.

theboob-are you sure about your dates? If so then I predict twins.

C1NDY - I'm so sorry about your mc and I'm sure your rotten GP didn't make it any easier. I don't know why some doctors feel its their job to point out all the negative things that can happen. I've just moved to York and registered at the GPs so have only spoken to the receptionist so far - I just hope the doctors are okay when they finally have time to see me.

boob - wow what a bump. I'm a bit overweight (well about 2 stone actually ), I'm eating really well and hoping not to put too much on but still think it might be quite a while before I see a bump.

Well I have been absolutely exhausted this afternoon - totally ready to just watch a bit of tv then head off to bed. Is this another symptom? Thank god my boss is off for the next couple of weeks so she won't catch me sleeping on my desk. Can't stop drinking either, I'm soooo thirsty all the time, and then I spend half the time I'm not drinking popping to the loo.

inahurrymummy My ds is two in November so we will be in the same boat! i am hoping it will be great and he will enjoy helping with fetching nappies, blankets, bibs and not smoother love his little sister or brother to bits.

Think i will have to invest in a really good sling this time because ds was a big fan of the boob and i was glued to the sofa in the early days (not that i minded one bit because i'm lazy needed the rest), which isn't practical with a two year old bursting with energy. Hopefully i will lose the baby weight faster this time as i wont spend so much time vegging and drinking tea and biscuits!
