Hi all,
Sorry to hear your news altagloria.
Devilsadvocaat, I second HC's heart stopping moment, then I realised there was a word missing. My friend has been there recently and found doing the reading a tough but really healing thing to do. Hope its OK for you.
I've spent most of the day in hospital. It started off with me having violent D again this morning, so rang NHS Direct, they said to go see GP. So got appt. for 9.30. He said he didn't know what was wrong and asked me to wait in the waiting room. He then called me back in and said he'd spoken to the EPAU at the local hospital and to go along to see them.
So I did.
They didn't seem overjoyed to see a patient with D. Understandable really. I was there from about 11 to 4, and have been prescribed some antinausea medicine and some anti-cramping medicine and they think its all stress related.
I've finally had something to eat, and as I sit here and type, my stomach sounds like its singing a bizarre whale song and I'm just waiting for the next (ahem, TMI ALERT) erruption.
On the upside, they have asked me to go back in for a scan in the morning to check 100% that everything is OK and its not due to LO being settled in the wrong place.
What a day. I just need my insides to calm down for a bit. Hope the drugs work
Sorry for selfish post, especially when there are others with so much worse to deal with right now.
