We need a new thread title....any ideas?

sausagenmash · 05/02/2009 18:22

Is there a limit on the number of pages for a thread, then? How do we find the new thread? Don't want to lose people!

How about something to do with cake? That will always bring a smile to our faces.... Or blue willies?

llareggub · 05/02/2009 18:23

dandy it wasn't too bad really, as they were both very early but really because I needed fertility treatment with DS, getting an unplanned pregnancy was pretty amazing! So I could afford to be quite philosophical about the first mc as it was a very clear sign that I could now conceive naturally. The 2nd one was devastating, but it gave me the push I needed to go part-time instead of full-time, and that lifestyle change was a real factor in a successful pregnancy for me. It was also lovely to spend some more time with DS, too, so benefits all round.

llareggub · 05/02/2009 18:29

Yes, a maximum of a 1000 posts or so per thread. Usually someone sets it up and links to it...

FiKelly · 05/02/2009 19:40

llareggub lol at he blue parts... fortunately ds only thinks to play with his in the bath... and I try to ignore it!

cote what an amazingly beautiful scan photo. Bit too... DH doesn't feel its required to do one as we never did with DS... he just wants to wait for LO to see her.

matthewandbumpsmummy oh good you seem to have been following the same we've been with DS... I'm sure it will be all right in the end. Def going to look at the books divedaisy mentioned too.

SpangleMaker · 05/02/2009 20:13

cote beautiful photo, he looks gorgeous! Another one here too... am soooo tempted to ring up and book!

OK shall I kick off the thread title debate?

how about....

Due May 2009 - uh oh, it's the third trimester!

or

Due May 2009 - too busy eating cake to notice we're entering the third trimester!

or

Due May 2009 - childbirth is getting closer and it's giving us the (blue) willies!!

FiKelly · 05/02/2009 20:17

sorted

Thought I'd better do it before I eat dinner as I know how you ladies can talk of an evening

pulapula · 05/02/2009 21:03

Sausagenmash- the best way not to lose people is to click on the link posted below from spangle and then once there, click to "watch thread". Then whenever you logon, you just click on threads: i'm watching and there you go!

FiKelly · 05/02/2009 21:05

that's how i keep track of us too

Momino · 05/02/2009 21:08

lol at grumpy's post and at runningmonkeys bump whiskers, hehe. i guess there is a soft peachy fuzz on my massive belly now that i look.

Jael, hope the move goes smoothly, quite exciting!

am going to sleep early tonight again (though not sure how early - still haven't had supper and it's past 9!).

off to eat and find out what [rubbish] is on telly.

night.

Momino · 05/02/2009 21:12

for some reason when I was posting, I totally missed the conversation about thread titles. I think it has to do with 'refreshing' the page since I've had the page up since this morning.

I do think the last two titles are funny .

now, truly off to get some omega3 - that is, mackerel with salad - a bit too healthy for me so will enjoy some cake afterwards. sshh, don't tell.

FiKelly · 05/02/2009 21:16

i was really good tonight... i didn't put any cakes on the shopping list for DH to buy in our weekly shop... but i did ask for a few hagendaas (sp?) mini tubs of ice cream

divedaisy · 05/02/2009 21:36

I loved momino's comment, which I thought would have made a fab new thread title (if wehadn't had one sorted already!) - 'Bump Whiskers - I guess there is a soft peachy fuzz on my belly now that I look' - priceless! Anyway thanks Spangle for sorting it out for us! Maybe it was the blue willies that gave us bump whiskers! If we run out of room on our next thread we could use that thought!

Had and early night planned - all lovely and showered and then DH came home from work and I feel obliged to stay up with him a bit. Mind you he did waken me up at 3:30AM to tell me to stop snoring - I thought it was ds tickling me feet!

Oh I forgot to tell you all... remember the night DH went to the pub and I asked him for a bottle of magners, and flashed by busty boobs at him in order to try to get him to remember to bring me one home?? And Ididn't think he was too impressed, or would remember??! Well... I was wrong!! It worked!! I did get a bottle of magners and although it gave me horrid heartburn, it was gorgeous and I slept so soundly too!! What I fancy now is either a Baileys or a Bacardi Mojito!!

divedaisy · 05/02/2009 21:41

WE'RE ALL ON THE NEW THREAD!!!! SEE YOU OVER THERE!

flippineck · 05/02/2009 21:49

Evening all!

I've just had a cup of tea and a fondant fancy...amd a mini battenberg! Yum, but yuk to the heartburn now.

Lol at bump whiskers! Definitely quite fluffy here, and I was with DD too. Luckily it all disappeared after she was born but is reappearing now. I was too embarassed to ask any of my RL friends about this, so I'm glad you've mentioned it!
