YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations LaTour!!!!!!!! You really deserve it!!!!!!!!!!! We'll be here all the way don't you worry!!!!!!!!!

We have loads and loads of snow here and it's still snowing!!!!

Sesthinks2009willbeagreatyear · 02/02/2009 08:23

We have the same!! Lucy (one of our cocker spaniels) went out in it and it is deeper than her legs! She had fun though! Jessie (the other one) would much rather stay inside curled up on the chair!

DH tried to get to work and didn't get further than 100m in the car so came back home. I've had a text from my Area Manager telling me to work from home today and to phone him at about 9am. (I'm really lucky as he's a really nice thoughtful guy).

Btw, did anyone mention that LaTour got a BFP???!!!

LaTourEiffel · 02/02/2009 08:24

Oh, and lets not forget the early morning waking and bizarre vivid dreams!

Strangely though, I've not got the raging thirst or feeling cold that I had last time (which I didn't have with DS either) but neither do I have the overwhelming urge to run to the loo every two minutes (like I did with DS) so its all a bit different at the moment.

Thanks guys , I'm a much happier lady than I was this time last week

LaTourEiffel · 02/02/2009 08:25

I'm a bit nervous about taking the car to the garage, but I really ought to at least have a shower gotta scoot but will be back later - don't eat all the brownies!!!

Sesthinks2009willbeagreatyear · 02/02/2009 08:27

Don't worry, I think I'll make another batch in anticipation of demand!

I've gotta go too - DH needs the internet to do some work. (What's all that about??!)

Wow- what a good collection of symptoms!! Can really understand caution too though

Hurray!!!

I can understand feeling sad about your Nan, but I am sure she knows too...

Easy to say, but try not to worry, the whole wagon is here to support you....

kayzr · 02/02/2009 08:32

LaTourEiffel · 02/02/2009 08:38

kayzr · 02/02/2009 08:52

Ooooooh it's snowing again!!!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 02/02/2009 08:56

Just been out and in the snow and its nearly kneedeep!!

Cosmogirl · 02/02/2009 08:57

Congrats Latour!!!!! So so pleased for you

Lots of snow here but not as much as you GYo...we live really close to work so can't claim being snowed in but really don't fancy venturing out.....dangerous weather for pregnant people!

GruffaloSoldier · 02/02/2009 09:11

Hey havent caught up yet but did notice a certain BFP - CONGRATS to LATOUR!!!!!

Well we nearly got stranded babysitting last night but managed to get home safely. This morning we are SNOWED IN!WAHOO!Its fab. I cant believe it

Right going to catch up on last night and this morning. Then we are going up on the roof to take some photos

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 02/02/2009 09:27

Morning Gruff and Kayz
Hurray for being snowed in! Just been outside and its way over a foot here...

Hope no wagoners go into labour early today! My DH has already made jokes about hot water and towels !

kookykid · 02/02/2009 09:30

WOWOWOWOWWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW! LATOUR So pleased for you! You deserve this BFP so much after the last few months. Symptoms all sound great!

Snowed in here too! Was ridiculously excited this morning when I got the call to say school was cancelled!

Starshinetiger · 02/02/2009 09:41

WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOO! LaTour, so pleased for you. Am so excited! Really thought it was about your turn. Really understand your caution, but if you think about it, you've got your health sorted and our bodies are often wiser than we give them credit for - your body may well know that you are healthy and fit for pregnancy this time, whereas last time you had the gall stones (am I remembering correctly) to contend with, hence first time catch. It is possible - we caught first time with both and now I'm 7 weeks away from due date (touching wood and everything else supersticious, so as not to curse things).
Would have been on earlier, but was at train station at 7.40am to get train to London, bu they advised that all tubes are not running, so then I had to sit around trying to establish what was right and what not and eventually made decision to work from home, so I'm settled in cosily at home now - only thing is work laptop won't let me MN, so if you see me on here again, you'll know I'm "taking a break from work"!
Congrats again LaTour - couldn't be more pleased for you!

idreamofbeanie · 02/02/2009 10:15

Wow CONGRATULATIONS La Tour
I' m so pleased - you really deserve this after the tough few months you've had. What brilliant news.

I think I'm due a week before you (1st October) and there's a big batch of nerves mixed in with all the excitement so plenty of hand-holding and symptom-spotting from over here. I've had sore boobs and a raging thirst for the last couple of weeks then I felt a bit queasy a couple of times over the weekend. This morning I've woken up feeling nauseous - it's not too bad but isn't going away at all and I feel a bit light-headed.

BTW very of those of you who can work from home today. Not that I would do any work but really fancy a morning on the sofa with a cup of tea and one of GYo's brownies. Question for you - why does ms make you crave coke and choccy biscuits when usually feeling sick would put you off eating? It's weird!

Diege · 02/02/2009 10:16

OMG many, many CONGRATULATIONS LATOUR, I am so, so pleased for you, you really deserve it . What wonderfuly news for a Monday morning! (I knew it of course from the early waking signs...
Of course we will all still be here for you!
At work at the moment, though starting to think I shouldn't have bothered as no-one else has Will def work from home for the rest of the week though - tis very scary on the snowy pavements, although trains seem to be running ok at the moment, touch wood.
Hope everyone is well and happy - smiling ear to ear about LT's news - I knew this would be your year!!!
Not heard much from NAT for a while. Hope things are OK and you are just snowed under (sorry) with Mikey and crew

tinkhashertinklet · 02/02/2009 10:23

Thanks again everybody, it still doesn't feel real though!

I'm in the dining room with views to front and back, to the back, its very cloudy, but bright, to the front, its very cloudy and very dark indeed....

Soooo glad I booked a work from home today, wearing my socks, slippers long sleeved top and jumper, and contemplating another fleece on top (yes the heating is on so maybe I am feeling the cold more than before). Def time for a hot chocolate isn't it!

I've got so much work to do I barely know where to start, since one of our team was made redundant and we've all picked up more work, its just been ridiculous...

I had to walk to work today.... It was so knackered and had earache coz of the cold. Jeans were all soggy but thankfully had sheepskin boots on so feet warm .

Mean DH wouldn't drive us!! (we work at same place)
