Afternoon! Nadal was great . Really, a wonderful match although dds weren't quite so convinced .
LB, I would get that infection checked out. It sounds a bit like thrush which I've always had myself throughout pregnancy (moreso at end) and recall the white bits in wee, as well as strong yeasty smell . Best to get it checked out and treated, as if it is thrush (while harmless) will get passed on to baby who may get it in their mouth.
ASARTE, I am a wimp and maybe because I've never got beyond 39 weeks (so never had that 'get it out of here' feeling) would try and avoid sweep. I get quite anxious towards the end about labour, and don't want it to start any earlier than it has to!
KAYZ, I hear NZ is beautiful, though if it's snow topped mountains you want then come to Wales
TINKS, good news about Bracken . Always good to get passed over to the HV, though don't have a lot of time for them myself! (long story).
Hi GRUFF! Hope you feel rested after your long sleep . Dh is just back from Lake District so hoping to get a nap after v.early start with dds.
Oh and a coupke of questions that someone might know the answer to?
First, can anyone recommend a good book on labour, esp one that looks at it as a natural process, birth as non-medicalised etc?? OK, so no doubt will be having epidural no.4, but at least want to dip my toe in the natural/active birth waters and see what all the fuss is about
Second, my placenta at the scan was anterior, and have been reading that it's linked to breech babies? Does anyone know anything about anterior placentas?
Right, still in dressing gown, better make a move!!
