Thanks everyone, he is rather scrummy Have hit first problem though, my milk supply is dwindling quicker than anything, he's not been able to get anything out of my left breast all night, and not much out of my right because it is making up for the left side, but he isn't getting as much as he should be getting which is worrying with his size.

I think I might have completely lost the plot but I am thinking of doing this. It looks great and I would really really love to do it.

I'm also very tempted by some of the other harder treks. I would love to do the trek to Base Camp on Everest and the Great Wall Of China one.

Mum is thinking of doing the 3 peak one with me which will be fun.

Me and my sister have done the 3 peaks kay... admittedly when i was much slimmer and healthier, but it was good fun!!

back from sales in town all puffed out now!!
i went into town on my own this morning. bought myself socks in newlook and in adams sale bought dd checked shorts and pink minnie mouse hat and glove set for nursery. bought baby in 0-3 months white cordroy trousers with silver snowflakes,pink cardy with grey flowers and purple top with silver writing on.
then i came back and we went to pub in town for lunch.
in woolies got dd grey pinny and grey cardy for school this sept 90p each,packs of stickers for dd only 12p each and 2 colouring books 25p each.
going to relax now.

Just quick posting - supposed to be doing my coursework - at least should be last coursework this year. DH has been angel today - let me have lie in (he had one yesterday) and then took DS to Tescos this morning and Garden Centre this afternoon. I have taken christmas decs down with DS just now. I really love Christmas, but once it's all over, I really enjoy getting the house back to normal too (although with me doing coursework this weekend, there's a lot to do on that front yet - i.e. washing, ironing and tidying!)

Nat - sorry to hear about milk supply, but from my brief experience, I think that at various points it takes milk supply a little bit to catch up with demand. Couple of natural things I know of - Fennel Tea is supposed to really help (and in my experience last time did) - it is not as aniseedy as the box leads you to think and I rather find it refreshing. Also, if you're into homeopathy, my book recommends Dulcamara 30c if too little milk and Urtica urens 30c if milk production varies greatly - but if you're going down that route, probably best to consult a homeopath.

DH and i have been out buying baby stuff at last We now have clothes, sheets, blankets, towels, changing mat, muslins and we are ordering the pram/cot in next few days... think we are both having minor panic that baby might be early and we are feeling very unprepared!

I had a bad night, had lots of BH's before bed, then i went to sleep, only to find i woke up at about 12.30pm and had to run to be sick, followed by lots of VERY painful BH's.... i was in tons of pain.... then after about an hour they all stopped again, managed to drop off to sleep again, then DD woke us up, DH went to sort her out though, she'd stripped herself and wet the bed so he had to change her and her bed.... but he was very good about it!!

I'm hoping to take DD to toddler group today, and we're going with her in knickers!!!!!! how exiting/brave/stupid?? i can't work out which just yet!!

Hi TINK - so maybe a similar pattern this time? My midwife says that each birth either follows same pattern or gets subsequently earlier (a day or so)as your body reads the signals better . Make sure you rest up lots this week - no more shopping!!!

I can't believe how quickly time is going. It only seems 5 minutes ago I got my BFP and now that BFP is nearly 4 weeks old.

Good morning everyone, I am 33 weeks now and can not wait to see my baby now. I need some advise...... I am huge, I mean really big and swollen. Yesturday My tummy was bright red and I felt stretched to the limit... Is this normal? I dont remember having this with dd. Could it be water? Why is it so red????????

I am starting my RLT this week and want to get some of the other things that you were talking about NJ that began with C.... Do you remember the name and where you get them (also do I take them as a tablet or at the other end ) dont want to make the same mistake as I would have the EPO!!!!

Hi LARDY! Yes, red stretched sore itchy skin is normal . I remember Ponds Cocoa butter being pretty good - not too greasy and stopped the soreness. Can't believe you're in the homerun already!
KAYZ, meant to say the 3 peaks sounds a great challenge. It's good to have something to aim for, and all the training will make you feel on top of the world .
Off to see 'Bedtime Stories' this afternoon with dds, as last day before school. Hope it's bearable!

Thanks for that Diege I was starting to worry about the redness I must admit..... I am going on a ponds hunt now......

I can not believe how different this pg has been. With dd I had no problems at all and even forgot I was pg at all sometimes. In fact I was still working 2 weeks before she was born and working 16 hour days as well....
However the birth was really bad and traumatic!!

I have had real problems with this one, really bad SPD and lots of bleeds and very very hormonal as well. So I am pinning all my hopes on a calm and easy birth to make up for it.....

What do you think...
