Im not being funny but please can you explain what you mean by Loving It? as this is my only experience and quite honestly has been much much harder than I expected I dont really get what there is to love- but I'd love to know so im not completely put off havin another one!

I always forget how much age difference there is between some of us. It doesn't seem like there is much difference when we all chat.

I've invited my mum and her dp for dinner Saturday. We have the starter, dessert and wine sorted but have no idea what to do as a main. I'll have to get all my cook books out.

I'm trying to be positive about this pg. Although I had a few weeks of sickness, flu for 2 weeks, leg cramps and now back pain... I still think I've got off lightly. Tbh, the worst part - so far - has been the constant worry and trying not to get too excited in case something goes wrong. I'm starting to get through that now with the baby moving it's reassuring and v difficult to put myself in self protection denial
Does that make sense?!

Oh I really really loved being pg with DS1 but I had no symptoms except heartburn. I felt fine, had great hair and skin and I think I felt better pg than I did before.

But it has been completely different with DS2, I was exhausted practically from day 1 and got really bad SPD in the last 6 weeks or so.

Age difference somehow doesn't seem to matter on here with you guys and I guess my lack of DC makes me feel young and imature (even if I'm not!)

had tightenings up till 11:30pm when i tried to get some sleep with not much success had 2 more contractions today one @ 6am and one @ 6:30am will have to see what happens maybe its a slow one!!

Could be a slow build up over a couple of days Tink, but it's all doing something.
Maybe you're getting to 3-4cm without noticing much, which is fab! Try and rest today, baths, tea & choc, naps etc. Your mum is on her way to care for Dd isn't she?

Thanks for asking Im ok thanks- hanging in there is probably best way to put it! SPD was better over xmas when not working so I think sitting at office chair is defiantely a factor in making it worse, and it gives me really bad swollen legs so the sooner mat leave comes the better Osteo is great but effects dont last that long.

Other than than, Im really looking forward to having this baby and not being pregnant now! Novelty has worn off!

my mum came back over last night she is swapping wwhen my dad gets here to go to work.

Great news havingg A/L to use before materntiy leave. Are you on AL now until your MAT leave starts or do you have to properly work again beforehand? Hope your MIL can look after the 3 others, might make it easier for you.

I never realised swollen ankles could actually ache/ throb in the way that they do!

I know what you mean about not wanting to be PG anymore vs wanting to enjoy it. Not sure if we will have anymore (mainly due to my experience of being PG!) so Im also savouring feeling baby moving inside me, but equally.... I cant wait to move about without agony and feel human again (though i suspect feeling human doesnt happen for a while after the birth!!)

My xmas was lovely thank you, bit hectic as we cooked xmas dinner twice for both parts of my family on 25/26th which meant a lot of cleaning up too but DH is whizz in kitchen so least I didnt worry about the cooking bit!

Very exciting that your pool comes in 6 days (or maybe 5 now!). I am really keen to get one like yours too so I can sit in it and watch tv at the end!

Good luck Tink. Hope we get another wagon baby later today or tomorrow :-) God I am knackered. Ikea until 9.30 pm on Monday night and yoga class last night until 9.30 too - lucky rest of this week don't have any plans apart from clean house from top to bottom as it is a complete state .....

I once sent Dh and the 2 kids (then) to his mum's for tea one Sunday. I opened a bottle of luscious Rose I'd been saving, a box of choc's, got naked in the pool and watched Antiques Roadshow .

I was there for 2 hours hehehe!

Last night wasn't too bad, he wouldn't go to sleep until half 12, then he woke up at 6 so I can't complain really. Plus I made DH get out of bed to sort out DS1 as I am fed up of doing everything overnight.

Then I got woken up by Glask texting me at 10 past 8 and then fell asleep again. I did mean to get up when I got the message from Glask but didn't. I hate not getting up before 8, I just can't do lie ins!!
