So excited to be starting my first thread!!!

Just had a BFP this morning a couple of days before AF is due and according to FF, my EDD is 1st September 09.

I have one DD (March 05) and had MMC in late September this year, so a little nervous but really ready for this.

Looking forward to a few more people joining me on here!

sending a big hug to you Scardy. Sounds like a really sh*tty experience for you.

I am sure you will go on to conceive again when you try.

I was in the EPU with a suspected ectopic all day Thursday so I can identify with some of what you are feeling. Just the possibility was devastating (and I am not quite out of the woods yet). I can't imagine how awful you must have felt to have it confirmed, and then to have to go through surgery.

I recommend having a massive cry as soon as you can get some privacy.

LittleCheese · 10/01/2009 14:35

Scardy don't really know what to say to you as cant imagine how you are feeling, but lots of love and hugs are coming your way from me

TrixieBelden · 10/01/2009 16:54

Oh, poor poor scardy -- how awful. But everyone is right: thank God they found it promptly. Take good care of yourself and have a good wallow, you poor thing. I hope you get to go home soon.

TheTickListQueen · 10/01/2009 16:56

Have been lurking but have to post after seeing your post Scardy. I had an Ectopic in June. It wasn't diagnosed until 9 wks as I had very few problems until I started bleeding. My HCG was 11,000, baby was only 2cm and no heartbeat. Normally that HCG is too high to be treated medically (by injection) but because I was stable and hadn't ruptured they tried it.

My HCG level continued to drop but I was having a lot of pain afterwards. Finally a month later a scan revealed it hadn't resolved so I then was operated on and lost the tube and the ovary. Not a good outcome and from when it was diagnosed it took 3 mths to recover physically.

However I now find myself pregnant and due the 3rd of Sept after only 2 mths ttc. Bit shocked. I had a scan on Tues which showed its in the right place and even though it was early it even had a heartbeat.

Scardy check out the Ectopic Preg Trust www.ectopic.org.uk they have loads of info and are very supportive. Any future pregnancies you'll be checked out early which is very reassuring. Also a little known fact is that if you ovulate on the side without a tube the other tube can actually pick the egg up.

Take care

TrixieBelden · 10/01/2009 18:49

What a reassuring outcome, TickListQueen - congratulations and welcome.

Forgot to say that I hope everything's okay with blinder ... sounds v scary.

PurpleCrazyHorse · 10/01/2009 18:58

Thinking of you Scardy, big hug and lots of love.

bigbang · 10/01/2009 19:45

Oh scardy I'm so sorry, you must be devastated. I have no experience so I can't imagine how you are feeling, but I'm thinking of you and wishing you loads of luck for the future. I hope you can have the same success as TickListQueen.

Blinder, keeping my fingers crossed that you get the all clear soon.

Congratulations by the way TickList!

scardypants · 11/01/2009 13:20

Hi all,

Thank you all so much for your kind words.

Blinder I hope you get good news soon, fingers crossed for you.

Ticklist thank you for sharing your experience, it gave me my first bit of hope in the last couple of days. Congratulations too and good luck.

I'm feeling the worst I ever have to be honest and so confused and bewildered too but I don't think this thread is the right place to share it. This should be a happy thread so I'm going to try and find another. Please don't think I don't appreciate your support it's just I don't think sad things should be here.

I may start a thread myself where I can write how I feel, other threads dealing with loss seem to be all mc threads and I don't belong there either.

I wish all of you the very best of luck with your pgs and once again, thank you all so much for you kind thoughts.

StealthPo09IsHere · 11/01/2009 13:35

StealthPo09IsHere · 11/01/2009 14:39

detoxdiva · 11/01/2009 15:36

Scardypants - so for you - thinking of you.

StealthPo09IsHere · 11/01/2009 15:44

Hey undercovermummy, just noticed you are on this thread as well!

pooka · 11/01/2009 15:49

Scaredy - so sorry to read your news.

Am outing myself now because have told r/l friend. So I am endymion/pooka. Due first week september I think, anything from 2nd to 8th. Probably.

StealthPo09IsHere · 11/01/2009 15:59

hi pooka and congratulations

pooka · 11/01/2009 16:27

Thanks and same to you and all other new arrivals

Just treading water here really - am remembering how much I loathe the early days. They drag so much, more so than being late at 40weeks plus.

Roll on end of Feb.

TrixieBelden · 11/01/2009 16:44

Amen, sister.

Snowfalls108 · 11/01/2009 18:03

Hello!
Can I join please.
I had my BFP on the 8th but have just got back from holiday - have been driving my husband crazy as we're not telling anyone and I just keep telling him again and again and again!
Very few symtoms, had a bit of nausea (but I tend to vomit with stress or anything out of the ordinary - rubbish!) and a sore right boob this morning.
I think my EDD is the 17 September and this will be the our first. I'm 27 and been married a couple of years.
September seems ages away, as does 12 weeks.

Looking forward to chatting to you all lots over the coming months.

HeadFairy · 11/01/2009 18:26

This does seem awfully premature but can I join you too? I got a bfp this morning for dc #2. I have a 16 month old ds, and going by my LMP this second one is due 4 days after my ds's 2nd birthday! They'll be almost twins

Lots of familiar faces on here, hello everyone

StealthPo09IsHere · 11/01/2009 19:02

Hi everyone new!

LJ29 · 11/01/2009 19:12

I have had stetchy achy feelings in my tummy iykwim.
Started holding my breath without thinking about it when walking past smokers (this happened last time!)
Trousers feel tight (probably just Christmas ) and I wee a lot. Nipples are sore when I'm feeding.
I'm dreadful for imagining symptoms though so not sure how many are real.

undercovermummy · 11/01/2009 20:32

Congrats Stealth! Hello to Pooka as well! I am so desperate to change to my regular name, but need to tell MIL first because god forbid she found out from someone else.

Welcome to Snowballs and Headfairy

I have sore (.)(.) every now and then, constantly feel sick, but its kind of a faint sicky feeling so i can cope with it, backache and the regular niggly growing aches.

I swear that this last week has felt like month! Dh wants to keep it a secret til 12wks but as i havent managed that with the other two i cant see it happening. We have a party in 3 wks and there is no way i can keep it a secret there as i wont be drinking.

Am 5wks today
