..p'haps a small tad, yes.

I'm more sick of the symptoms. I know I will miss the bump and the excitement and the never ever being on your own. I cried for my pregnancy about a week or so after dd1. I so missed it!!

Mind you, I slept like a log and pottered about all day in a hazy hormonal happy land when pregnant with her - not this load of back achey poverty ridden spd ridden insomniac virus and cold ridden old rot! Hurumff!!

There is still time for you stripey. We might have all had 'em by morning - glorious unpredictability of nature.

Hurumff to that as well.

harumph indeed. reckon you've got more chance of that than me - not a drop of clary sage in the house....
ah well, at least if you go tonight, the baby gros are all ironed

treedelivery · 05/01/2009 21:52

Ohhhh go flf. All our blessings!!

stripeywoollenhat · 05/01/2009 21:53

hurrah, flf! a january baby! (no pressure)

LenniEd · 05/01/2009 21:54

Stripey - I've not touched any raspberry leaf tea, don't own a tens machine, haven't even diced a pineapple in anger... and as for sex not a chance I'll be preggers at the end too more than likely.

Dog - your about 37 week I think?

No pressure flf......not much...well, tonnes but y'know...no pressure.

Spink · 05/01/2009 21:58

YAY flf will be thinking of you and rooting for you! Clary Sage sounds scary, think I'll stay away from it!

ray sorry you had a rough day - tomorrow will be better, make sure you pamper yourself and do what feels right, not what you think you should

Lenni what a day. Glad you are back home, no mahoosive car park charges and have a chance to get your head around what might happen when you go in tomorrow!

more back pain and periody niggles here, so so boring as it's been the same for over a week now. Saw mw this morning and baby is 3/5ths engaged, which as it is a 2nd baby is apparently a really good sign. But I think it was that engaged when I was monitored at hospital on Christmas Eve (and if not 3/5ths it was def 2/5ths at last appt 2 weeks ago) so not getting too excited.

Anyone else niggling?

treedelivery · 05/01/2009 21:58

There are good next thread titles brewing here - dicing pineapples in anger very comical thought.

hmmm cocktail thoughts... Might be nice... crushed pinanpple with some chilled raspberry tea and a clary sage infused ice cube....

Gotta beat prostin gel anyhow.

Spink · 05/01/2009 21:59

what is happening with your twinges, tree?

treedelivery · 05/01/2009 22:01

Hi Spink - they are twinging but refuse to believe I am in labour till I see her head after last night!!

It's more a roaming unsettled sense of holding my breath now. Even the cat is being wierd.

elkiedee · 05/01/2009 22:02

Ooh, flf, will be keeping a look out.

My last day at work tomorrow. And perhaps my first NCT meet up on Thursday, plus a visit from my mum some time this week.

lenni -i have a tens machine, in a boots bag - haven't even looked at it. more fun, obviously, to work out how it works while panicking... though if i do get to 27th, i'll probably owe boots more money for it (hired for four weeks).

maybe we should start placing bets on who will be last...

Good luck flf! LenniEd glad little one decided to wake up and dance. You reminded me that DS1 used to do that to me. Had to go in twice weekly for monitoring as he was IUGR and he would always, always be sleeping. Cue gallons of icy water and failing that a chocolate bar and can of something fizzy. Always woke up in the end but was a real pita being on the machine for so long twice a week. They got to know us in the end and had the iced water and fizzy drink ready when we arrived! Mind you, he still sleeps like a log most of the time, the house could fall down around him and he'd carry on snoring!

moosemama · 05/01/2009 22:09

Whats going on with those extra asterisks, something weird is up with my laptop at the moment, it seems to have a mind of its own!

stripeywoollenhat · 05/01/2009 22:12

no it won't gtdacp, i'll have a failed induction and make it to feb, and the little one will be toddler size by then...

elkiedee · 05/01/2009 22:12

GTDAB, it may be me who's last, though I hope not because that's likely to involve induction.

AprilMeadow · 05/01/2009 22:16

Good luck FLF hope that L gets to meet her new baby brother or sister very soon xx

treedelivery · 05/01/2009 22:18

It must be so different mentally to have a set date for induction or section. I didn't seem to mind the uncertainty 1st time but this time it's a killer for me - especially with the every second night amber alert thing I seem to have going on! Wonder if I'd prefer 'a date' for induction or section or whatever - dunno!
