Anyway, hello everyone, I'm due 6th July (although no scan yet, so date will probably move). Excited but knackered and queasy so far, although having read (some!) of the last thread I've got off pretty easily so far.

Hi all am due 2/7/09, I have one dd age 11 months and spent loads of time with the due jan 2008 thread but thought i should pop my head in here and see if i could join in.

oh yes meant to say had the scan just before christmas and all fine and well and although i am 37 they said my test results made my probablilty thing the equivalent of a 15 year old hurrah .

was sick full 9 months last time hopefully not as bad this time

Hi and congrats to the new people!

Just booked to have a 4D scan done for the end of March, very excited and can't wait to see little baba early!

Happy to say i think sickness has finally passed and starting to feel a little bit more human!

Had no more bleeds for 2 weeks and nearly 13 weeks now so feeling hopeful that all will be ok.

Can't wait for my 20 wk scan tho just to make sure.

Not got much to say, it is quiet on here but I'm sure we'll all be back to chatty selves in the new year

Second time round no-one seems to want to ooh and ahh at scan photos so I've stuck it on my profile page (is that sad?) - you cannot believe the frenzy I worked myself up into in the 24hrs before the scan that all was not well.

After much debate had a nucal fold scan today, both twins very low risk so glad I had it done now.

I'm 12.5 weeks now and the babies where really cute on the scan today saw so much detail.

Next scan 20 weeks its going to be a long wait

Had scan today and all okay, 2 babies wriggling about happily (pics on profile).

i am 10 weeks today. i spent yesterday in bed and couldnt keep a glass of water down. must have been sick about 8 times throughout the day. yuk!

have made it up this morning but not attempted food or drink yet.

also skin looks worse than it did when i was 14!! the joys of pregnancy eh?

spoke to nhs direct yesterday about sickness. was told may have to take tablets to keep ms at bay if it continues this bad. anyone had experience of this? to be honest the idea of putting meds into my system doesnt appeal. just worries me what effect it could have on the little one.

happy new year everyone! had my 12 week scan on tuesday, my due date is now july 15th.
im now really excited have been telling absolutely anyone who'd listen! have been having very bad sickness right up to just before my scan, as soon as we got out from hospital the sickness lifted and wolfed down a massive mcdonalds, then curry for tea to celebrate with my family!
now that 12 week scans are out of the way for most we have 20 week ones to look forward too! is anyone finding out sex of baby??

We're planning on finding out the sex this time, but keeping it to ourselves so it's still a surprise to everyone else. Not sure if we'll be able to keep our mouths shut though

Oh and for ms Mickey it sounds awful. I think mine has more or less gone now.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas without too much sickness or stress.
I'm now 14 weeks and have to dress very carefully if I want to keep it a secret. We have obviously told lots of people, but I quite like keeping it a secret from some of the gossipy Mums at the school gates It gives me a strange sense of satisfaction that I know something that they don't! Don't think it will be a secret for long though.

We've decided we will find out the sex of the baby at the 20 week scan, although we won't tell anyone else that we know what it is. That way if we let slip a 'he' or 'she' it won't matter. The main reason we want to find out (other than being really impatient) is so that we have time to prepare our 3DS's if it's a girl. They are all quite clear that they want another brother

Had my nuchal scan and blood test just before Chistmas (I get it free here due to being of a certain age ) Has lowered my risk factor which was great and also confirmed there is just one! Huge sigh of relief as it is very dangerous on this thread

Happy New Year everyone! I haven't been this sober during festivities in 20 years... Its a very strange sensation to not be hungover 1st Jan.
Congrats to all on the scan news. We've decided not to check the sex, although we didn't particularly have strong feelings either way. They're all boys on my side and all girls on DP's side, so one lot will be getting more of the same!!

That's a good idea JLo, not even telling people you know. We want to know this time so we can sort things like bedrooms out. Another boy could go in with ds but if it's a girl we will have to get rid of a lot (and i mean a lot) of crap out of our spare bedroom .

I really wanted a boy when i was having ds and this time at the beginning i wanted another boy but this pg has been so different than with ds i've started to think this could actually be a girl and have really come round to the idea of having a girl now but really not bothered either way. I think we even have names for both sorted

Having read back my post, I think I must like keeping a secret, it gives me a strange sense of power Also it is a lot of fun when people are trying to guess what it is. Even my parents didn't know last time (we just denied knowing - after all scans are not always correct ) and it was a lovely surprise for them when DS was born.
We've already decided that if it's a girl she will still have a blue bedroom as that's what colour the spare room is! We can redecorate when she's old enough to express a preference.

Hello everyone! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
DH and I flaked out last night - our last New Year where we might actually be able to go out and do something and we stayed in on our own! We did have some lovely food though and it was nice to not have to fight the crowds - not to mention the cold! 2 below - BRRRRR!

I'm 11 weeks tomorrow - today (10+6) is the exact day I started bleeding last time around (mmc) so here's hoping all stays well over the next few days. I know it means nothing, but psychologically it would help. We've got our 12 week scan a week from Friday, so fingers crossed for good news! We've actually told far more people than we ever intended to over the past few days (caught up in the Christmas spirit I guess) so I'm particularly anxious.

All of the lovely scan pics on here are making me very excited! Such beautiful little ones!

The 4d scan is £125 for an hour long appoint, 2D and 4D pics and a DVD of whole appoint - it's for bonding and reasurance - forgot who asked now.

I hope 2009 is the year for us all to have cute and healthy babies!!

Happy New Year all! well we saw the new year in cursing the MILLIONS of fireworks the neighbors were setting off whilst trying to settle dd who decided to wake the moment I was getting into bed and had been howling for the last 1.5 hours on and off!

We'll be finding out the sex of the baby but the NHS won't tell us here we'll have to go for a separate scan. Last time we found it really helped think of baba as a little person.

Whatever flavor it turns out to be we were planning for them to share for at least the first few years. Not willing to give up our junk spare room yet.

apologies for my absence ladies, had a harrowing few weeks.
all my symptoms disapeard last week, which sent me into a tizzy over xmas, and traveled 10 miles to get my nearest drop in EPU yesterday.
RELIEVED to say that baby is fine, and that i am actually 12 weeks now, EDD been moved to 16th, so turns out the lack of symptoms were due to me nearing 12 weeks, as they tail off then normally anyway.
PHEW!
i tell you what till i had all the mc's i NEVER worried half as much.
will get pics up soon, scanner not working to well so will have another go tomorrow.

Glad all is well Natty. How did the move go?

I'm getting all confused with the days and keep thinking it's Sunday and my scan is tomorrow. But nooooo i've got work tomorrow and then the weekend before my scan

move was fine, cost alot cos we had to hire extra ppl cos i couldnt lift anything.
got another scan in week and half, my nuchal scan. am nervous about it, but its not hugely far away.
so pleased to be sitting in my new house, its not half as bloody cold neither!
