hi everyone - been so busy past few days I've collapsed into bed at 8.30 pm, couldn't drag myself to the computer

have my scan tomorrow too - wasn't expecting it until Jan as I'm only 9 weeks but hospital rang up today and told me to come in tomorrow. All excited and nervous now

can't believe more twins - how exciting!

Bloomin heck - how many sets of twins are there now?!! Lots of fantastic news. I'm so sorry Lizzie for your bad news x. Kick some ass LGOR.

Finished up being admitted to hospital with my asthma - first time ever. So been a lot poorly, off work, on steroids and v.worried. Anyway, Nuchal was scheduled for yesterday and all is fine - good strong heartbeat and my Downs risk has gone from 1 in 213 to 1 in 4238 which is fab (blood results still to come). Took 4 attempts at scanning over the space of an hour to get baby to co-operate - a sign of things to come? I was mortified. DP thought it was hilarious.

Then just to bring me back down to earth, it appears I've been in contact with someone with Chickenpox, which isn't a good combo with the steroids apparently, so off to Docs again today. They'll be sick of the sight of me at the surgery. Ma Jetli can't remember if I've had them or not - now I'm convinced that the brain really does go mushy with Motherhood.

Aw Jetli Sorry about the chicken pox Here's hoping that everything is just fine. We were just at a friend's house for dinner the other night and they mentioned their son just had the chicken pox. DH and I sat up really straight and looked at one another - no one knows about us yet. But luckily the friend is pregnant too, so we were able to ask about the likelyhood of it being a problem for pregnant women without raising any eyebrows. I've had it though, so I'm fine.

In other news, I puked this morning I've been queasy on and off from about 6-7 weeks, but this is the first I've actually been sick. Kind of awful since it was in the train station, but I do feel like I've passed some sort of pregnancy test or something and I've finally gotten my badge of honor I know it's no guarantee, but it's a bit of reassurance as it's been a week since my scan and the comfort from having seen the bean has all but worn off!

YAH! Just back from scan and all ok. And there is only 1 bean baking (phew).

12wks today so now due 7 July.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Right I am off to make some homemade truffles as gifts as we are having a lean xmas. We are broke broke broke.

Well they took the steroid/chickenpox combo very seriously at the GP and did me a rush blood test at 9am and the results came through this afternoon. I have antibodies to chickenpox so apparently I'm going to be fine. Looking forward to a full nights sleep without a racing mind - oh please, please, please. I'm shattered.
So chuffed for the scan news Misspaella and also YAY (in the nicest possible way) for the puking LBOT! The waxing and waning of the symptoms is really wicked.

Hi everyone. sorry i havent been around as much - i have been feeling very tired and sorry for myself as ms has kicked in with a vengeance. yesterday was awful - i was sick in the shower, then in the back street behind work and really struggled not to puke in the waste paper bin in my office! this is excatly how i was with DS and i am just hoping it doesnt last as long this time.

still only 9 weeks so waiting for a date for my scan. i havent told work but most people out of work know. i am not a good liar and with all the xmas get togethers ive been hopeless at keeping my mouth shut! good thing is work doesnt do party until second week in january so hopefully i will have had scan by then.

great news on all the scans and good grief more twins! hope its not catching!

Had my scan on Monday all well with little one he/she was waving at us , my nuchal fold result was really low just got to wait for my blood results as I am sooooo old [35] have to have all these extra tests the only other thing on my scan is i have a cyst on my right ovary so have to have that rechecked but they are not concerned about it anyway lots of love to you all and here's to a Happy Healthy 2009 xxxxxxx

I've not been on much as very busy and been feeling very sick, thought I'd got past the sickness

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

My turkey dinner all went brilliantly and I devoured my prawn cocktail and then peanuts later on!

Had a lovely Christmas and DD has had a great time. So has DP, I suprised him with a Play Station 3 so he's very chuffed! ( should keep him busy as we've been told no sex till after 20wk scan! )

More twins!!!! My god.

I have had my scan and little bean is fine waving and kicking - another active one then There is only one so maybe the trend is changing
My date has been altered by 1 day so now due the 7th July. This baby is not allowed to be a week late as that is DDs birthday and I don't think she would forgive always having to share her birthday!

I have had a lovely christmas. Hope you all have too. Shattered now though. Don't think I will offer to do Christmas dinner when pregnant again.

Have just heard my grandma has died so I will have to make a 1000 mile round trip and sort out childcare. Hubby can't get time off as he has been off sick for weeks and only just back to work so am now grovelling to my in laws. Don't fancy taking my DCs on a 9 hour car journey!

Glad your scans have gone well too ladies. I have added my scan pic to my profile but its not very good quality as I dont have a scanner.

Hope your christmas's have been good. I am glad to be home and sleeping in my own bed, family are all very excited about the twins and we have had a busy few days.

I don't feel right today, can't put my finger on what's wrong, just feel 'weird'. Am worrying that that something is wrong with babies even though my sensible head is just telling me I am tired. Scan on weds which can't come quick enough.

Having NOT had ms so far this week I have a stinking cold and can't keep anything down. Suspect I could eat something bland like baked beans but they are not obtainable here Not liking the combination of starving hunger and sickness.

Anyway, Happy New Year everyone - 2009 certainly has plenty in store for us!
