Washer dryer is being del'ed today - whooooo hooooooooo, I am seriously running out of clothes!

DS1 is still poorly, I'm going to see how he is when he wakes up and get him to the docs if he's not much better, poor love hasn't eaten anything since Friday so that alone is enough for me to take him. Just hate the thought of taking him out in the freezing cold for the doctor to say it's viral and give us calpol, I can, and am doing that at home! It sounds bad but you get the point where you almost hope it is something a litle more than a virus just so there is actually something they can do IYKWIM? If it's viral then it is case on just getting on with it, if it's an infection or something then AB's will help it clear up and sod off! Poor little thing, he was sweating so much when we went to bed last night, his quilt was soaked right through

I'm working from home first thing and then off to Eastbourne where our Pevensey Bay branch is having it's grand reopening today after a refit. It does look good and will be something good and positive for a change!

Slight whinge alert from me. SPD getting really painful and now back/lower spine has gone so Im literally walking at minus speed and every step hurts. MW yest said not much can be done except strap (got one) and lycra support and then crutches if its worse. Is that right? Wondering what to do about work. Once Im here its ok and no diff to being at home but its really tough getting in through the rush hour.

Need to pull myself together since there a long way to go yet to 40wks....

Might just lie out on the Wagon sofa and eat Tinks wispas and Ses's mars bars (if I dare )

Morning! Sorry about ds Nat - that must be a worry. As SES says, it's a dliemma about the drs. I tend to hold off until the bitter end with dds, but at least if you go you'll have peace of mind.
SES say hello to Eastbourne for me! I love the place! Friends of mine have a B&B there, though business has been very slow recently and I think it's on the market. Your job does sound interesting I must say!
I think I have made a breakthrough on the sickness front - still feeling rough in evening but so much better in the day. 11.5 weeks now, so I should hope so!
Right, have hairdressers this morning - just hope I don't slip on the road outside which looks v.icy..

Diege - glad the sickness is easing. My job is pretty interesting. I'm quite lucky that there's a lot of variety and I get on with the people I work closely with. The only downside is that I don't have a base store or office so I'm always going around different places and it really racks the miles up on my poor car. Apparently the guide for getting a fleet car is if you do more than 25,000 miles in 3 months. When I last worked it out, I do 23,000 miles in 3 months

I'm actually back in Eastbourne tomorrow as well as I'm joining my Area Manager for someone's performance review. We're meeting in the large store in Eastbourne Arndale Centre so I'm hoping to grab some time to d o a bit of shopping. I really could do with some new bras!

Oh! Just remembered I never told you that I had 2 parcels arrive over the weekend whilst I was up in the Lakes. One of my cousins (I only have 2 and this one is a friend as well - she was one of my 2 bridesmaids) was meant to come over and see the new house a couple of weeks ago but was ill so coujldn't get here. Well she's such a star - she ordered a black wrap dress from Blooming Marvellous for me and a bump band!! There they were waiting for me. It was a fantastic suprise

Right must go and get dressed, check emails and sort dogs out....

I was up most of the night again. I mixed some Clary Sage and baby oil and rubbed into my bump in the hope it would actually do something. It didn't but I do have a lovely soft bump.

Was a bit scary, hope I don't get a repeat. I felt rather panicked. Fine this morning but sore around tummy and ribs, don't know if it's related.

I've rung the m/w this morning to see if they can come to my house for AN visits because I'm now unable to walk around the house properly and can't drive at all.

It would mean I'd wouldn't have to do a 2 mile walk, through the park, to the health centre with 3 kiddies.
Dh has offered to take the day off and mind the kids and drive me to the health centre. Tbh it doesn't seem right for bp & fundal check he has to use up his holiday.

Gyo you have my sympathies. Is there no option to work at home? I have come to the conclusion that I won't be going back to work now if I stay like this.

GYO I feel your pain. I have SPD and it is so bad that sometimes i have to crawl upstairs, and can not move at all. The only advise i can give is:

When you go up stairs lead with your good side and when you come down lead with your bad.

Never stand with your weight on one leg (or you will not be able to walk for days I know).

When getting into a car sit down first then swing your legs in.

Get dressed sitting down as well.

Hope this helps a bit...

Nat so sorry ds is poorly. DD has been bad for the last 2 weeks, started off as a cold and cough then went to her chest and ended up on her lungs..... Not nice at all but she is on her second dose of ab and seems to be picking up now. We were indoors for two weeks and started to get cabin fever, I think she was fed up with the sight of me especially as dp was working 14 hour days so she didn't even get to see him.... Poor baby that would piss me off too....

Diege I have my mw appointment the same day as you......

It has been a bit better for me since dd has been ill as I have not done anything and been housebound..... however I can not pick her up very well and when I do I have her on my tummy and not my hip......

I am going to be 35 next week..... boo hoo I am getting old.... Sorky you have mw on my birthday....

Diege I am so glad you are feeling a bit better lets hope the sickness eases for you now.....

I have been keeping dd up an hour later all week as dp has been working ot and wouldn't see her. She is now going to bed at 8 instead of 7 and I feel that I am not getting any evening anymore.... Do you think that when dp's job settles down abit we will be able to put her bedtime back to 7?????? I am worried that she will not go down at 7 anymore as her body clock will be all out now....

Dh is liking the P&T he has having a fiddle out with it last night and seemed pretty impressed, in a "it's a buggy, what's to get excited about", but every now and again he went "oh, that's good".
