DS is like that- earlier he had his hot wheels out, DD had all the dressing up box scattered acorss the room, and they also had their kitchen out and all the food all over the floor- just looking at it made my head hurt!!!!

I've scrubbed every last inch of the bathroom today, first with a disinfectant cloth, then with bleach and then with just plain hot water!!.... i've never been that thorough before... oh and every tap, corner, handle and tile got full toothbrush treatment too!! i normally keep it clean, but not like this!! and its not even like its just for MIL coming this weekend... i know it'll all need re-cleaning on thursday and friday to make sure it's nice and clean for her visit!!

kayzisexpecting · 02/12/2008 17:45

Maybe I should scrub the kitchen floor tonight. That could help!!!

Yeah right!!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 02/12/2008 17:56

My mum swears by cleaning the windows and digging the garden, and she had five of us so she's had plenty of practise! Not sure digging in the garden would be a good idea in the snow though....

Glask, make sur eyou put DH's toothbrush back where it was won't you?!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 02/12/2008 17:57

God Tink, I think colour co-ordinated is taking it a step too far!

kayzisexpecting · 02/12/2008 17:58

Oh I could clean the windows tomorrow. They could do with being done.

kayzisexpecting · 02/12/2008 18:00

Here you go Nat.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 02/12/2008 18:01

We bought a steam cleaner thingy at the weekend (bet I've already said because it is my new best friend!) windows are sparkly, though must admit I was cleaning through gritted teeth worrying it would crack the windows!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 02/12/2008 18:02

£12!!!!!

kayzisexpecting · 02/12/2008 18:05

There are these ones

You could be like Kim and Aggie!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 02/12/2008 18:08

Oh I'd love their job, not sure if I should be a bit at that snippet of info? I would seriously though, I love it when you can see such a difference for all your hard work.

Not sure I could cope with wondering what living things were hiding though. I can handle mice, but rats and creepy-crawlies would have me running a mile - even at 35 weeks pregnant!

tinkisahugexmaspudding · 02/12/2008 18:08

lol kay @ gloves

www.suitsandboots.co.uk/index.php/Rubber-Gloves/View-all-products.html

lol

cant believe how long some of the gloves are on the arm lol for those very dirty rooms

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 02/12/2008 18:11

I can't believe we are having a conversation about cleaning gloves... this wagon will never stop surprising me!

kayzisexpecting · 02/12/2008 18:13

I might treat myself to some groovy ones.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 02/12/2008 18:15

ooooh- i nearly missed the rubber gloves chat again!! I have a pink pair, a blue pair and a yellow pair, all get used for everything though... saw the rubber nurses ones on the first link kay- maybe that'd combine my fetish for cleaning atm with DH's fantasy of me as his naughty nurse???

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 02/12/2008 18:18

I did ask my sister to get me some funky ones for my birthday but i never got any!! might have to buy myself some if i get xmas money off DH's grandparents.... we usually do, and normally put it together for something, but i want some cool gloves!!

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 02/12/2008 18:19

Evening!!
Peas yesterday and rubber gloves today!!

More importantly, where is Gruff???!!!

I'm feeling much better today - dream is getting less vivid and probably helped by the fact that last night's dream was about some giant size killer wasps chasing Monica and Chandler from Friends!

Interviews all done - thanks Kay for not causing any cancellations

Now home and - can't believe I hadn't posted this - our new 3 piece suite arrived today!! It's black leather and we've got a 3 seater, 2 seater and arm chair. We ordered it about 10 weeks ago so feels like it's taken ages to get here but it is here!! Mum came over and house sat for the day until it arrived and she's done all the ironing too!! She's not normally so obliging so I don't know what's happened but I'm happy to go with it!

Cosmo - great to hear from you but sorry you're still getting sick

GYo - glad MW went well!

kayzisexpecting · 02/12/2008 18:21

Hi Ses, Love the dream. I hated Friends so that is quite funny.

I am very of new sofas!!! We're saving up for one at the minute and it is driving me mad as I know exactly which on I want.

tinkisahugexmaspudding · 02/12/2008 18:22

i dont use marigolds

ses - glad that suite finally arrived

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 02/12/2008 18:25

Oh Kay, how can you hate Friends??!! We lovge it and still watch all the old reruns when there's nothing else on. I don't know, you like mushy peas but don't like Friends??!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 02/12/2008 18:25

I was gonna say the same ses, where's gruff!!!!!! i'm gonna kill her flippin blackberry- if it was working i might not have scrubbed so much today!!

sofa sounds nice but i'm very of you- i want a new sofa... but a better car is on the list first- the heap of junk we bought 6.5mths ago is awful- we hate it!! then its getting a full new boiler and central heating system, then removing the gas fire in the living room.... then maybe a new sofa!! if DH gets xmas and easter bonus we'll be able to get it all done and sorted before ruby arrives!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 02/12/2008 18:27

i'm another mad friends fan too!! Love watching re-runs... even ahd them all on VHS till a few weeks ago when i gave them up to salvage some space before baby arrives!!

talking of baby she's properly booting my front tonight!!

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 02/12/2008 18:27

Sofa is v cool. Quite firm but v comfy. We had old blue material ones that the dogs had slept on and they'd got a bit mucky so we decided new ones for the new house and the dogs don't go in the lounge in the new house so they won't get ruined!!

Hope everything's ok with Gruff and it's just her Blackberry playing up combined with her out celebrating baby Gruff..

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 02/12/2008 18:29

Hi tink - yay for slippers They are definitely a winter essential!

GruffaloSoldier · 02/12/2008 18:29
