PMSFL yes most appropriate title LOL

grinningbee · 22/11/2008 14:35

Great title!

Mind you, I'm almost last on the list as due 26th March, so am a few weeks off the third stage!

Having said that, my little treasure kicked me so hard at a craft fair I was doing this morning she made me ooooof out loud, lol. She was obviously as bored as her mummy

livismum · 22/11/2008 14:39

brilliant! i feel so at home with that title!

MKG · 22/11/2008 15:45

Well yesterday I was squatting in front of the refrigerator trying to clean in out and I stood up and my leg was in so much pain I didn't know what to do so I hobbled over to the couch to lie down and what happens, but the boys come and start climbing and jumping all over me, and the more I was in pain, the more they laughed at me.

Anyone want to take them off my hands? I'll take the lowest bidder.

Hurray! New thread, we can breath again. (Well, apart from the babies squashing our lungs!) Thanks MKG.

titmouse · 22/11/2008 17:25

grinningbee, we are due the same day

All my kicks and thumps are really low down, right at the bottom of my bump, so guessing he/she is not ready to try being upside down yet!

Wheelybug · 22/11/2008 20:25

Found you !

Just a quick hello as have been out all day and need to go and get some dinner but now at least the threads on 'threads I'm on'. Hope everyone's having a nice weekend !

Titmouse - my kicks were mostly down the bottom and now they switch a lot and beginning to be more up the top (although not enough to think s/he has settled head down), I'm a couple of weeks ahead of you though.

Good morning ladies! Thanks for the new thread MKG...and the transferring of the list meep!

I am at my parents this weekend...unexpectedly! My mum has broken her foot but my dad is doing what he always does...nothing! So I had to take her to tesco on Friday, then xmas shopping yesterday! And she has just woken me up at 7.30 to help her have a bath, I thought that was a few years off, she's only 48, lol!

Re movements...I'm 25+1 today and gettin booted a lot of the time now! He seems to have a party every evening, starting when I get in the bath and not finishing until after I'm asleep!! I have had a couple of kicks make me go "ooof"...they were interesting!

Have a good day ladies!

lilymolly · 23/11/2008 08:43

oh thank goodness for a new thread, could not keep up with the other one.

Cant work out the 3rd Trimester yet though? Do we not have to be 28 weeks for that?
I am only 24 and due Mid March......anyhow whatever maybe my maths is crap

I am feeling very large and measuring a few cms bigger than weeks- which is a bit worrying!

Also getting breathless when I lie on settee, I dont remember having this with my first dd until much later on.

Can I please ammend the list as my due date is now 17th March?

I hope no-one minds but I have just had to change me too as I've moved a few days on the EDD.

Re the kicking thing - I get a lot at the bottom of the bump, but she must be a wriggler because I also get a lot at the top. DH has managed to feel a couple, and the look on his face was priceless. The other day in the bath she kicked me hard enough for me to see it! Bless...

Hi everyone

Hope your all well, love the new title!!
I am just starting to feel regular movements and as this is my firs baby am loving it.
I found out the sex at my scan... I am having a girl.

SpookyMadMummy · 23/11/2008 11:54

I am having a girl too

laumiere · 23/11/2008 14:49

Thanks for the good wishes! For the list, I'm 28, DS1 is 2.5 years old.

titmouse · 23/11/2008 19:58

thanks wheelybug I am not sure at which point they start to go head down but not too worried just yet.

I'm having a surprise by the way, we think it's a boy but at 20 wk scan she couldn't get a proper look so we'll have to wait and see!

Boobz · 24/11/2008 08:24

Also having a surprise...

LittleBok · 24/11/2008 09:54

Morning all, Monday again, 24 weeks today, but have a paranoid first pregnancy question for you all, my new point of call for anything!

I find it hard to sleep on either left or right, and then some nights sleep all the way through no problem. But actually that isn't what I'm asking, I felt the little one move quite reguularly last week, morning time the most, then not much through the day and then at night, but the last two days i've not felt much at all, the odd flutter and that is it. I hope i'm not squashing him in the night, that is what I fear the most as I tend to wake myself up lying quite a way over on my tummy as opposed to my side, but move as soon as I wake. The whole movement thing is really tricky to read as I don't have a scooby as to what is normal and what isn't. Does what I eat or don't eat affect him, does my mood affect him?!? Can they have active days and then lazy ones!?! I have my 24 week GP appointment tomorrow so I'll make sure she has a good old listen for me...

laweaselmys · 24/11/2008 10:35

Hey everyone, welcome to newbies hope you are enjoying yourselves on MN.

I'm off sick today. So curled up under duvet on the sofa, feeling pretty pants.

LittleBok - first baby too so I'm not sure, but she does seem to have very active days and then days when she doesn't move as much. I'm absolutely sure she moves more if I've eaten spicy food! But then when she moves a lot she is moving constantly all day and night so I think maybe she just tires herself out and spends more time sleeping for the next few days.

babyinbelly · 24/11/2008 10:37

my little one tends to have lazy days. normally depends how busy i am. I think they go to sleep if you are moving a lot.

I also sleep mostly on my stomach so don't think its a hige problem. find if i'm quite hungrey befor i eat baby moves a lot then. not sure why.

hth.

p.s how long has layout been changed? not sure i like it!

Mandy73 · 24/11/2008 12:25

Thanks for the new thread MKG!

OMG I can't believe it's coming up to third trimester for us already.

Tbh 2nd trimester was a blur for me because that's when we got indications all may not be well.
Having the doppler scan tomorrow to find out what the heck is wrong with baby and/or me - if anything.
Quite nervous/overwhelmed/hormonal about it all. I guess things have a way of catching up with you.

I'm still pro screening though.

Love to everyone.
xx

MKG · 24/11/2008 12:51

Morning all.

Coming from someone who is having her third lazy baby (in utero only, when they're born it's a different story). I'd say it's totally normal to have days when you don't feel them or don't feel them that much. For me, I don't notice anything until right before I fall asleep (and that's only flutters) as it's the only time during the day when I'm not moving around. It is true if you are busy you don't notice the movement even though it's there.

But it's like my midwife said, if you are worried day or night, call.
