mmmmm sounds lovely kays... and very cheap too- DH wouldn't mind if i only had that for a take away- but recently if its chinese i'm ordering soup, sesame prawn toast and my main meal of chicken with mushroom and egg fried rice.... though i normally only eat half my man and save the other half for lunch the next day!!

though your tea sounds delish.... i may have to walk round the corner to get some for myself... is it wrong to drag the kids there to get me chinese then bring them home and put them to bed before i eat it all myself???

have done an AIBU thread about rude freecycle man.... just becasue i'm bored tonight and wanna know!!!

and ta GYo- as its only you taking one you can ahve another if you like.... after all i may be getting chinese afetr Kayz telling me she has some!!- my mouth is literally watering!!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 17/11/2008 18:52

ooh thanks Glask

Go for it and get chineses! fresh air will do kids good Im sure And given your sickenss you should definately eat what you fancy when you fancy it!

DH just brought home dinner and milk
Angel delight here i come!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 17/11/2008 18:54

what is it with DH's bringing home dinner??? my DH isn't home till 9ish... and i know he wont bring me home dinner as he has no money, and his wallet is sat here on the PC desk!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 17/11/2008 19:25

right... DH phoned me, i checked he wouldn't feel too left out if i ordered chips, fried rice and curry sauce... he kinda was, but said as long as he gets the rest of the angel delight for his pudding (greedy sod- but i know he'll eat it and still stay stick thin) then he wont moan.

So i've put the DC's to bed as DD was nearly asleep on the sofa, and have phoned the chinese which is literally round the corner, about 10 houses distance away at most, and they are delivering my food in 25-30mins!!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 17/11/2008 20:01

haha- just wrote a post saying i was still waiting for my chinese and i was hungry and just as i went to press post there was a knock on the door!!!!!mmmmmmmmmmmm!!!

LaTourEiffel · 17/11/2008 20:09

HBJB, there's always room for you in whichever part of the wagon you fit into, but don't get too down yet, try to take a deep breath and take each day as it comes, don't pre-empt the results if you can help it at all. I'm thinking of you x

(I'll be lurking on both boards as ever too)

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 17/11/2008 20:27

Sorry haven't read every post but have seen Heeb's news, it still isn't over yet sweetie, hcg still rising is a good sign, also I think the more pregnant you are the slower it rises, bearing in mind your MW said to prepare, I don't want to get your hopes up unrealistically, but it isn't a deffo no go yet at all.

Just a quick update on what's going on here, all tests came back clear, they did another trace which was fine, so all good on that front, but they have now decided that I am small for dates and have booked an emergency scan for tomorrow. I am actually of the opinion I have a slow water leak, but she won't believe me ("Oh no, it's just excessive discharge" ) and since I was deemed OK last week size wise, and now not, I think they will find my waters are low rather than him being too small. Not really sure what they'll do with that, I know at term they want the baby out within 48 hours, but not sure what they'd do at 33+ weeks with only a slow leak - antibiotics maybe? Having said all that, we all know how bad the fundal height measurments can be, so it could all be for nothing anyway!

Anyway, am going to scare myself silly look up tales of slow water leaks... don't know if I'll be back on tonight or not, just in case g'night xxx

sorkycake · 17/11/2008 20:40

nJ you are literally not getting a break at all are you, grr at incompetency of your healthcare people.
Let us know how you get on You could always pop a pad in and see what it collects (waters smell different don't they).

At the risk of sounding thick.....what's Angel Delight?

Oi you lot don't feel sorry for me at all, I'm absolutely fine. It'll all be over in 12 weeks or so and we're all in the same boat.

Kayz you know it's time to panic when you stop counting weeks and move onto days

I honestly don't think my poor little bod could cope with another pg tbh, so I'm pretty happy that this will be my last.

I have a satsuma craving too, who started that one then, eh...eh???

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 17/11/2008 20:49

erm.... think i'm guilty on the satsuma/orange thing... I was going on about my oranges, then for a few days Myself, Kayz, Diege, Ses (and someone else?) all mentioned them, and a few of us all ended up having to buy them... Kayz and Ses blaming me!!

Angel delight is like a whipped milk flavoured desert... dont know how else to describe it...

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 17/11/2008 20:53

sorry Nat- doesn't sound like your having a good time of it!! STILL!! If it helps my back waters broke at about 34wks with DS, went in and they said it was just that i must have wet myself.... well not in so many words, but anyway then at 36wks the midwife saw me and noticed my bump had shrunk and sent me for a scan, i was fine until i went into labour at 39wks!!

sorkycake · 17/11/2008 21:02

I've sent Dh out for chocolate as he's gone to B&Q for something or other. I said "you can't get choc at B&Q", to which he replied there was "a vending machine".
He has had to take every penny of change with him to buy me enough chocolate from said vending machine his pants were slipping down, hehehe!

Sweep on how long it ill take him to vend the chocolate out, bearing in mind it shuts at 9pm

Is angel delight like a mousse then?

GruffaloSoldier · 17/11/2008 21:07

Evening all

Havent quite caught up yet but thought I would post some stuff before I forget it all. Im having some major pregnancy brain issues at the moment.

Firstly, HBJB I am so sorry re your news. I hope you're coping ok and are well supported in RL too. We are all here for you here though.

TINK - I bought the baba sling in navy on Friday from TK MAXX for £25 such a bargain and it is fab. I have had DH modelling it for me already!

I think I may have to join the SPD camp. I havent mentioned it to anyone as was only wondering before but now after reading your posts I think I may well have it. Aches in lower back and bottom mainly and especially when first get up or have been walking around town etc. Is there anyway this couldnt be it? And does it mean any difficulties for labour?

I have had a worrying three days as Friday was up all night with severe stomach cramps. I was sobbing with agony and Dh was up all night with me trying to console. I thought it was really bad wind but nothing would shift it. So then had migraine all sat and sunday and cramps continued on and off. Went to docs today as managed to convince myself that I also hadnt felt the baby so anyway it turns out all is fine. Heard HB and have some medication for severe constipation! So relieved, I havent been able to relax all weekend. I just hope it works because work was such a struggle today!

Gosh that took up loadsa room! Going to finish catching up now!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 17/11/2008 21:13

Hi
Sorky it is a kind of moussey thing. Comes as powder, mix with milk and leave it and it thickens up, but doesnt go too gelatinous.
Werid childhood thing I think!

Hi Nat- so glad all the other tests were clear but cant't beleive that you have now got something else to worry about. [Sad] - keep us posted tomorrow after your Emerg.Scan.

Hi Gruff- sorry to hear you had rough weekend.. phew it was jsut constipation... Also bad news if you are joining the SPD camp. Think we might have to replace the wagon sofa with a row of chairs like in a old peoples home.

Hope everyone enjoys their respective chinese, chocolate, satsumas etc (lol Sorky about your DH and his trousers!)

catch you all tomorrow.

GruffaloSoldier · 17/11/2008 21:21

LOL at old peoples home GYo, c you tomorrow!

NJ - just caught up and think you sound like you know what you're talking about better than mw!! what your suggesting re waters def makes sense - Im impressed!
