They are beautiful boys sparkletoes!

How are the rest of the "waiters" feeling? I have been so lethargic today. I had a big lie-in which was lovely, but then I just could not get moving, and as a result I am now just feeling annoyed with myself for being lazy, as I don't think I was actually lacking energy per se, just couldn't get off my arse. The house is a tip (we emptied a storage unit and ended up with loads of boxes of "stuff" that needs to be put away, but not necessarily any space to put it). Just thinking about how to rationalise it makes me stick my head in the sand, but then I feel bad that poor DH has been out working all day and comes back to the same tip he left this morning. And I know I should do it now while I have a chance before baby comes. HUMPH - when's your nesting instinct when you need it?!!!

MonkeyMargot · 26/11/2008 17:37

Congrats Drswife and welcome baby Sophie!!

LeakyDAISYcal · 26/11/2008 18:11

Congratulations DrsWife and welcome Sophie....eventually . Wow at the 35 hour labour too; you must have been shattered. I'm glad that she is here safe and sound now though

Who's left now? Can't believe we are almost done and it's only the 26th!

hana that is a trult wonderul name.. I am, of course completely biased but ours has definitely lived up to his name so far, he's a very happy boy!

Oblomov · 27/11/2008 10:28

LOVE Hana's name choices.
I mean really really like the whole name.

toolly · 27/11/2008 11:21

Just come back from the Doctors. Have put of an induction until Monday, but have to go in for monitoring on Saturday and Sunday. Had a sweep (even though I am against rummaging and fiddling in general) as a last desperate measure to get a homebirth before Friday.
So I will definitely have a baby on Monday, Tuesday at a pinch. I have never laboured in hospital despite this being DC 3 so I am anxious and don't think I will perform well.
Good luck to those that are still waiting.

Pinkyminkee · 27/11/2008 13:27

toolly hugs for you. If you have laboured successfully before I'm sure you can do it, even though in hospital. I would sort out some homey things to take- own pillows etc., whatever you need.

Here's hoping baby comes by the weekend anyway

toolly · 27/11/2008 13:29

Thanks pinkee, but I think I'm in labour now. Some waters have gone, and tightenings that are getting intense every three minutes. Just rung the midwife. Fingers crossed I'll see baby sometime tonight in the wee hours.

Pinkyminkee · 27/11/2008 13:36

oh wow that's fab news!

good luck!

tegan · 27/11/2008 13:40

Congrats tooly i hope you get the home birth.

No news here have to go to mw next tuesday when she will book induction by the end of next week but until then things are going from bad to worse, not only does this baby not want to come out but dh had a car accident on the way home from work last night. Garage have collected car and we now have to wait to see if it is fixable or not. How can things get any worse???

Pinkyminkee · 27/11/2008 13:43

oh tegan not the kind of news you want. Hope all is ok

tegan · 27/11/2008 14:00

Dh is fine. A deer ran out in the road and it looks like the car is a right off.

Pinkyminkee · 27/11/2008 14:03

Glad DH is ok, but very bad news about the car.

reluctantincubator · 27/11/2008 15:12

oh bad news tegan, but glad DH is OK,and at least if the car is written off then the insurance should settle quickly and without a fuss. Hope baby comes before your induction - got a bit of time to coax him/her out.

Toolly great news that you are properly in labour. Fingers crossed it keeps on coming and you get your HB.

I thought I had something starting last night. I was awake most of the time with erratically spaced but strong painful tummy cramps, feeling of needing to go to the loo, and I puked a couple of times, but today its all gone away bar fairly constant strong BH type tightening (but ont painful). I am willing it to come back as I know just feel very heavy in the pelvis and that it ought to be time soon.
