Yorky · 08/11/2008 21:52

We've just been to see the new house, massive garden - you are all invited to a babies half birthday picnic next summer!
Drove back in hideous weather but worth it for the news - congratulations iMum and HM2J, well done Saurus for getting to 6cm, hopefully we can all have more happy news early tomorrow. I am still twingey but nothing to get excited about yet.
Nice to hear that feeding and illnesses are improving and people are getting to go home.

barbareebaa · 08/11/2008 22:04

LackaDAISYcal · 08/11/2008 22:04

Wow heartmum, Congratulations ......he looks like he is about six weeks old in the second pic! and just gorgeous.

don't know how long Finbo is; they have stopped measuring babies here for some reason.

Obviously we just like to have weekend babies on this thread

vbab78 · 08/11/2008 22:20

HM2J - Your boys are all gorg but wow Zack just makes me more eager to see my baby. Also well done you practically doing it all at home!

yorky - glad everything working out with the house. I would like to RSVP on behalf of my baby for the half birthday picnic.

ME - just been for a lovely indian with DH. Hopefully it will help move things on but not counting on it!

MonkeyMargot · 08/11/2008 22:24

WOw - congrats to HM2J on baby Zack - 7/11 at 7.11! Amazing! He looks really grown-up and has a gorgeous face - ahhhh.....well done!
Cricri good to see you dropping in - whilst feeding Elise sounds pretty exhausting, at least she seems to like it which is great!!
C'mon rutho - not far to go now!!! Hoorah!
ChocO fingers crossed for you - bloody show - great!!
Dozy I hope your prediction is true - am definitely ready now! I never thought I'd be overdue for some reason.
Hello everyone else - hope you all enjoyed Strictly and the X-Factor.
P.S. I went to school with Tom Chambers and we even appeared in a play together. Sadly, my acting career ended there....!

Oblomov · 08/11/2008 22:26

Congratulations Heart2mum.
We knew something was happening/going on with you, didn't we guys

Oblomov · 08/11/2008 22:29

Barb, its not me, with the bad ILS. I think you are confusing me with someone else.
Mind you thats not difficult on this thread, becasue there are lots of people with terrible ILS. Mine are fab.

ChocOrange05 · 08/11/2008 22:29

Congrats HM2J - what a great birthday/time!!! He is very cute and you have chosen one of our shortlist names so I obviously like it!!

LackaDAISYcal · 08/11/2008 22:34

I just noticed DS3s DOB Heartmum...that is fantastic.

I wonder if Rutho has her 8/11/08 baby yet? I hope she makes it before midnight

Dozymare · 09/11/2008 07:15

heartmum he is absolutely gorgeous! Well done you, he does look about 6 weeks though rather than a newborn!! howa re the other DC's with him????? Can you believe you are a mum of 3 noW?! I am still in shock at how that happened - 3 under 5.....(note to self to sort out contraception )

Any news on rutho she surely MUST have had babysarus by now??? What about Monkeymargot I still think you are going to go into labour this weekend, you have precisely until 11:59pm tomorrow, so get a wiggle on

Chocorange any contractions??!! Anyone else??!! wE NEED MORE BABIES!!!

Have a good day everyone

DM xx

mum2becks · 09/11/2008 07:51

Congratulations heartmum and welcome little Zack He is just gorgeous!!!!

Not had any texts from saurus yet but will let you all know as soon as I do, she must have had him/her by now surely????

Sounds like a few more of you are having signs that things are starting to happen, fingers crossed for you!! When will it be my turn i'm 8 days over now and no signs at all at the minute!!! Going to go for a long walk today in the hope that gravity will help!!!!!!

misdee · 09/11/2008 07:56

well it might be another flase alarm, but it may be it.

i'm placing bets on another false alarm.

back pain, tightenings, poop, feel sick. stronger than before but not increasing in intensity.

mum2becks · 09/11/2008 07:59

Oh wow misdee fingers crossed this is it this time for you!! Keep us posted

Yorky · 09/11/2008 08:19

DH got up with DS at 530! and left me for 2hrs. NICE!
I was up at 2 with vicious heartburn, and thinking things felt quite hopefull but this morning - nothing. Grrr!
No-one heard from Saurus yet?

ChocOrange05 · 09/11/2008 08:29

Hello. Is anyone about to help me???

I think my waters may have broken - had a gush of water come out (not too much) and now every time I stand up a trickle does too so...

Q1) Do I have to call / tell anyone? If I do will they make me go to hospital, which I don't want to do cause of my planned HB.

Q2) I am in the middle of running a bath - can I still have it?? (We don't have a shower)

Thanks wise ladies!!!

merryberry · 09/11/2008 08:31

Not sure, copy this post into childbirth, get more helpers involved? good luck! i'd not call and wait a while see what happens contraction wise. they are clear, so no immediate worry. you can tell 'them' what time they went later in the day if you need to. just doin't know about bath, xx

merryberry · 09/11/2008 08:32

ps if filthy, plus in doubt about bath, sluice with jug to be on safe side?

ChocOrange05 · 09/11/2008 08:35

Thanks merryberry - I really just want to wash my hair!!

Yorky · 09/11/2008 08:38

You are supposed to tell MW if your waters go - whoever you have to ring to get them to come out to you. My MW was really strict with me on this but thats probably due to the GBS thing. It starts the clock ticking against you though so I didn't last time!

merryberry · 09/11/2008 08:50

ah well hair washing over bath side = optimal foetal positioning y'know! well i reckon 9am sunday is a decent time to call mw/unit with waters breaking in an uncomplicated pg...why do't you call after hairwash? important to feel ready heh? and my waters were going for 3 days before i gave birth to ds2. i hope your's is quicker.

LazyLinePainterJane · 09/11/2008 09:22

You'd better not all be having your babies ...Am due tomorrow and am seriously fed up. 3 weeks ago the midwife made "next few days" noises and I am still here! Every twinge I imagine to be the start, I wish she had never said anything.

Harumph!
