Mummynic, ooh, fingers crossed fo you, sweetie. Good luck tonight and tomorrow and I'll be looking out for your announcement.

DW I'll be there with you, hon [in tones of deep gloom]. Wanna do pregnant Xmas together?

And OMG what has your DH to say about his family's disgusting behaviour? How DARE they? Take about 8 million deep breaths and calm down, don't let them raise your bp. In shock about how horrible they are! Never, ever speak to your SIL again!

Scuse me all, I definitely have the rage today. Didn't know RLT could make a person so cross.

Toolly hope your hands feel better v soon, a mate of mine has the same thing and it's not nice so hugs.

misdee · 04/11/2008 15:12

HM2J, do i need to piece the capsules as i read on another thread, or just two whole up there each night? and swallow two each morning (not the two that have been up the old fanjo of course lol)

congratualtions on our two new arrivials, another boy and girl, welcome Jay and Elise.

Yorky · 04/11/2008 15:12

Mummynic that sounds pretty stressful and emotional, big hugs coming your way. best of luck for you and Cyril tomorrow.

Welcome two more little people

Drswife, don't go getting stressed over your family and boosting your bp just to met baby sooner!

sparkletoes · 04/11/2008 15:14

Ok will type quick while I remember everything...

MummyNic will be thinking of you at 6pm, hope all goes well for you.

Obs what can I say, it sounds to me like you & your DH will work something out and get through this as he sounds very supportive. You are stressed, I will be too after birth but you have had A LOT on your plate. Give yourself some time to adjust, deep breath and do whatever you can to make this easier for you.

Congrats to CriCri and LadyBuzz wonderful news, I never stop getting emotional when I hear of another birth! Elise and Jay are also such lovely names!

Yorky thank you so much for buggy idea (u may not even realise you gave me this idea I know!) but DS is now asleep and I have p&q for 1st time in a week!!

Even tho it was hard work pushing the pram and I did actually think my waters may break on more than one occasion I don't care right now!!

Right have forgotten stuff, will post this while I recap..

Misdee, I just shove them up whole and they disolve, pretty much like they would from taking them orally. I would say they disolve pretty quickly as I usually go up to bed around 11.30pm and some of the oil is usually making it's way back out by the time I get up to pee at 2am. Definately use a panty liner or similar, it can be a little sticky.

Heartmum2Jamie · 04/11/2008 15:17

mummynic, sorry, missed your post. I hope all goes well at 6pm. Thinking of you. HUGS

chocolategal · 04/11/2008 15:19

goodluck mummynic
congratulations to cricri drswife and rutho i'll still be with come mid/end of nov!!

misdee · 04/11/2008 15:23

MummyNic, thinking of you, and hope cyril arrives safely

sparkletoes · 04/11/2008 15:29

Hi Heartmum hope things start moving for u soon, EPO up the ole minnie doesn't sound too pleasant!

Ruthy you are on fire today with your postings can hardly keep up! DS was asleep well before shops thank gawd as I couldn't have coped with a repeat of the trip to ASDA yesterday.. you would think I was sticking needles into his eyes the way he was screaming!

DocW your SIL sounds unbelievable, on another planet in fact. Can only repeat what others have said, IGNORE IGNORE IGNORE. Loveless marriage indeed wtf does she know .

Hana I am so of your lovely maternity top in your picture as it actually COVERS your bump!! I am resorting to tying a scarf around mine as it is getting cold!

Ok who have I forgotten this time... sorry if this is you!

Thanks for nice messages guys.

Congratulations Ladybuzz

Congratulations Cricri mummynic PMA wishing you every lucky/lovely thought for 6pm.

ruthosaurus · 04/11/2008 15:42

Sparkle I have given up today and am wearing DH's lovely sweatpants. Attractive isn't the word. I normally wear huge maternity leggings under a tunic or dress but I did that last night and DH said he could see my pants through my leggings as they were so stretched (this was midway through a contraction in Meadowhall, just what I needed "hey babes, everyone can see your pants, now BREATHE"). Men.

sparkletoes · 04/11/2008 15:44

Obs really hope you can look back on this next week and be a million miles away from it all. That is good the local BF clinic was helpful, take it you didn't get to Kings...?

MonkeyMargot · 04/11/2008 15:47

Hello everyone!
Obs Stating the bleeding obvious here, but things will get easier...I think you are putting yourself under undue pressure, and the old "pull yourself together" comments from your ma and DH don't necessarily help. Your DH is no doubt as tired and emotional as you are - and of course you still love each other - you will get through this tricky time and your relationship will be all the stronger for it. You must focus on sorting your diabetes and caring for DS3, and let your mum and DH help with everything else. There is nothing wrong for asking for help from those around you. big hugs.
Congrats to LadyB and CriCri on the arrival of Jay and Elise Vivienne (so beautiful!) Fab news!!
And good luck to Mummynic who sounds like her baby is going to be here by tomorrow! Am as I am due tomorrow, but no sign of anything here yet.
Misdee I am taking 3 EPO orally per day, plus 2 up my lady bits each night. Dunno if they are doing anything though!
I have had a lovely day so far. Slept in til 9am then coffee followed by lunch with NCT chums. MW came round for 40 week visit earlier, head is well engaged, all fine. She didn't do a "sweep" as I'm technically not due til tomorrow - if nothing happens by next Tuesday then she will do one then. She seemed to think baby will arrive this weekend (is she Mystic Meg?) Was nice as DH was home so has met the MW's who will be here for HB - he will be the one making them tea and snacks!!
Love to everyone else feeling p*ssed off.
Sparkle LOL at your SIL having a similar MIL to mine....face like a slapped arse most of the time!

sparkletoes · 04/11/2008 15:49

LOL Ruthy yes tact is never a strong point is it?!! I have to give up on my mat jeans after dinner and either get sweat pants or pjs on as boy does that zip nip!

DS still sleeping! Now should I wake the beast now so he goes to bed at reasonable hour or just say f it cos he'll be up at 5am tomorrow anyway. Votes please...

sparkletoes · 04/11/2008 15:54

Honestly they could be twins MonkeyM! I am lucky not to have met the horror but poor sister can't bear her (and neither can her SILs and it is THEIR mum). Roger Mellie moment "Eh my MIL's a right fookin b**ch".

Luckily for me the worst thing about mine is her god awful perfume which I can't stand..

It's been a busy day

Big Congratulations to Cricri on the arrival of Elise and Ladybuzz on the arrival of Jay

Was I being psychic on the text buddies, or what?.....missygoo and coolkat were buddies too nearly three weeks apart. so, all of you paired up with someone later in the month........get that bag packed

good luck for later Mummynic. I hope it all goes well for you; induction or CS

I had a lavender bath the night before...with waaaaaay too much lavender in it, had six goes of EP oil up the foof as well as two tabs a day for four days, plus curry for tea on Thursday and Friday....if any of that helps

Heartmum2Jamie · 04/11/2008 16:02

Oh no, not again! I can NOT keep doing this false labour thing. I am contracting again and according to contraction master they are 7-ish minutes apart and lasting over a minute each. I guess I will have to wait and see what happens, but I am scared to move from my chair in case they stop

ruthosaurus · 04/11/2008 16:06

Heartmum I'm there with you hon, I'm going to wash my hair-dye out in a mo and then have a bath. Tbh, I am now at the stage where if they stop or progress I'll be equally happy... Big hugs, isn't it knackering and horrible?

ruthosaurus · 04/11/2008 16:11

And you can do it, babes, it's our bodies limbering up, just they're a bit slow to twig that there's supposed to be an actual birth bit as well. Hope your baby comes this time but don't get down if it doesn't, it's all getting us there. Very very bloody annoyingly slowly, but it's all going towards the birth bit.

My stupid cousin called it "pretend" labour earlier today, I could have hit her. She's 22 and not had a baby but really... Worryingly, she is currently training as a doctor so I will have to put her straight.

LackaDAISYcal · 04/11/2008 16:11

heartmum......mine were doing that all day Friday, and then every third or fourth one was a (big) bit bitey-er than the ones in between and it built up from there. I still wasn't convinced I was actually in labour until my waters went though

DH went to the mobility shop today and bought me a rubber ring to sit on (now who was it was asking about a Push Present? ). Oh the glamour , but it means sitting down suddenly got a whole lot comfier. I think I love him more for that than if he had bought me diamonds.

MIL came over today...no present, no flowers, not even a bloody card.......witch. I'm sure she thinks I'm making up the iron thing, but it was cool; gave me a chance to be aloof and rude and not listen to her and get away with it

C'mon babies........out you all come

mum2becks · 04/11/2008 16:12

Congratulations LadyBuzz and Cricri and welcome to the world Jay & Elise, lovely names {grin]

saurus I like the idea that text buddies are having their babies at the same time, I am already on the RLT and EPO, so can we just agree to have these babies now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big hugs to you obs you will get through it as sounds like your DH is helping out and if you also have your mum coming to stay just concentrate on you and the baby and leave the rest to them!!!

Good luck for 6pm MummyNic exciting that you will be having your baby by tomorrow

Sparkle I am same as you on the rare occasion DD does have a nap during the day I cont want to wake her as onjoy the peace & quiet but if I dont I regret it as she then wont go to bed at 7pm as she would normally so cant win

sorry to who I have missed as was loads to catch up on today, you are very chatty

MummyNic · 04/11/2008 16:13

Hi everyone, thank you for the good luck messages. DH is just home from work so it's bath time for me then drop Moli (dog) off at parents and back to hsopital. Sorry that I'm not responding to anyone's posts, I haven't had time to read them. I'm shattered!!!

Must remain calm although I wonder if I got stressed Cyril would become more active and get his heart going?!!!

Best get going, only 45 mins to get ready!!!

LackaDAISYcal · 04/11/2008 16:15

and rutho I said that to DH as well.....I wish these would either do something dramatic or fuck off........ten minutes later I was kneeling in a puddle and stressing about the state of the carpet

and my new £10 fake uggs came in really handy for collecting the fluid everytime I contracted . good job they were £10 fakes rather than the real deal.

and a tip for everyone....buy some pampers bed mats for the seats in the car. I thought once waters had gone that was it, but I kept getting more leaking out every time I had a contraction.

sparkletoes · 04/11/2008 16:16

Oh Heartmum hope this is it for you too...

Flaming eck Daisy not your MIL as well, what an old bastard.

Yay for the rubber ring tho, would it fit round MIL's neck when you've finished with it...?
