Just waiting for DH and the chinese and then sit down to watct x factor, even thou after last week i should abort it!

Tink, just a thought the spatone is best taken on on an empty stomach in orange juice and didn't you say that your vits are suppose to be taken on a full stomach might be worth taking spatone in morning and vit in evening after tea?

Diege- did DD2 have a good b'day? How old was she 5? How has the day been sickness wise? My 3rd day of no sickness just nauseous. Hopefully it'll be passing very soon!

Hi Gruff.

Nj- hope the babe has moved today and hope that you get more answers on monday.

Hi everyone else (waves) Be back tomorrow.

kayzisexpecting · 15/11/2008 18:38

Hello,

Congratulations LBOT!!!!!

DS has had an awful cold. It was awful yesterday afternoon but seemed to clear up after some dinner. We went out for a meal last night and it was gorgeous. But I think I ate to much as I was up being sick last night. DH was worried I was going into labour as I was sick the night before I went into labour with DS.

DH and DS had their hair cut today. It's a new barbers and you get free beer. DS was moaning and holding his hand out for DH's beer. But he got some sweets instead. Then DH did the nursery!!!! The cot is up. Just need to take some empty boxes to the tip and paint the walls. I'm so excited!!!

I hope everyone is ok.

OH MY GOD

I truly couldn't be happier for you LBOT.

I've been stalking your chart this month and your temps looked very good, but I didn't dare post in case I jinxed you.

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 16/11/2008 08:41

Morning

LBOT - am still celebrating with you!
Has it sunk in yet?

Really enjoyed the football yesterday (even though we lost!) Fulham's ground is right next to the Thames and is fairly compact. Made a good atmosphere though. The people we went with that DH knows through work were really nice too. I was the only one not drinking though and what with drinks before with lunch, half time beer and then the pub afterwards (where we were til 8pm) ... Well they all had a fair bit!

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 16/11/2008 08:57

NJ - how are you doing? Is he still being lazy or have you felt any movements?

Kay - beer at the barbers??! My DH would probably travel up north for that! Hope DS is feeling better.

Diege - hope the KFC didn't smell too bad.

I am 15 weeks today! Can't quite believe it!!

Morning ses glad you enjoyed the football. 15 weeks wow i'm not too far behind will be 14 weeks on Tuesday, might be a race between us?

Well i think i may have the start of SPD

Cosmogirl · 16/11/2008 09:53

Hi ladies,

Congrats Lbox - great news!!

5 sleeps until 20 weeks scan!!! Just a bit excited...

Diege · 16/11/2008 09:54

Morning everyone . Well round two of the birthday with the dreaded play barn today! Woken up in a grumpy mood with a stressed out dh trying to gets dds to play with moon sand 'tidely' . Must try and pick myself up!
LBOT, don't stress out ovulating later in your cycle. Dr Marilyn Glenville talks about this in her book, and after looking at all the lit concludes there's no evidence whatsoever to link 'older' eggs in the cycle with miscarriage. So you can stop worrying about that one!
2BG sorry to hear you suspect SPD . Have you suffered in previous pregnancies?
Morning SES! Sounds a good day yesterday; bet you're shattered today!
Hope everyone enjoys their Sundays. I for one will be glad when it's over

Diege · 16/11/2008 09:55

x-posts COSMO. So 20 week scan Friday? Wow, half way there!

Cosmogirl · 16/11/2008 10:19

Hi Diege, wow I admire you coping with three kids and the sickness - no idea how you do it! Yes, half way....well, I will nearly be 22 weeks by the scan on Friday. I am quite nervous that everything will be ok, plus nervy about finding out the sex too - hope we are able to see.

Wet and miserable Sunday here and not sure what to do with my day yet...

tinkisexcitedabouthavingababy · 16/11/2008 10:20

morning

have seen pics of my friends baby he is gorgeous!!
we are spraying the house with flea spray today and taking dd to an indoor activity centre.
dont have fleas thought it best to do it before baby comes

GruffaloSoldier · 16/11/2008 11:24

Morning everyone!

It is cloudy but dry here. NOT for long Im sure.
Im contemplating going christmas shopping today but still in my pjs at the mo. Just getting over a migraine so might be better to stay home. Decisions decisions!

Cosmo - very exciting re scan! Mine is 2 weeks on Tuesday and I'm getting very impatient to finding out sex as I am almost positive this is a boy!

Good luck with play barn Diege!

GruffaloSoldier · 16/11/2008 12:18

Ooooh just found out that my friend had her baby this morning! Sebastian, born 8.30 am and weighed 8lb 5oz!How super

lastboxoftampons · 16/11/2008 13:42

Good afternoon

Thank you for all the warm congratulations, I really appreciate it!

Diege thanks for the Marilyn Glenville info, guess we should listen to her as it was her vitamins that DH was on when this happened in the first place!

Gruff Congrats to your friend! That's my DH's name

Sorky Thank you so much for the happy dance, I loved it!

Ses don't tire yourself out with all that celebrating! You've got a bean cooking yourself in there! 15 weeks already! WOW! Hope you're feeling very well {{hugs}}

I think I'm going to hold off adding myself to the list if you guys don't mind. I'm not sure I believe it myself at this point! Need some time to let it sink in!

Somehow everytime the list gets copied and pasted my Due date is always my original one!! just updated again!!

Went to DH's parents pub for a free carvery for lunch!! then came home and started clearing out all underneath our stairs!!! (DH is hating my nesting for making him get under there!!) So all under the stairs is now empty, have found tons of cool things we forgot we even had!! and found loads of bits from when the kids were babies... tub of blankets, some of our re-usable nappies (so i think i may get on that bandwagon after the first couple of months!!) the john lennon baby cool bag i had for the kids too. All were nicely wrapped in plastic bags and in a box so will just need a good clean before baby arrives and will all be great!!

Right i'm back off to sort and tidy!!

Oh and CONGRATS LBOT!!!! i nearly forgot (and thats what i actually started to post because of!!)

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 16/11/2008 14:48

Glaskham - your under stairs cupboard sounds like an Aladdin's cave for expectant mums!

Went to Morissons this morning. I scared myself as this buggy wheeled by me and I knew it was a Phil&Teds immediately! I think it was the apple green cover that gave it away though. There was me though thinking I knew nothing about buggies, equipment, etc!

LBOT - am more than happy to keep celebrating with you and join in the Sorky dance! I do understand the disbelief. I still have that - it just becomes less of a shock each time I come to realize it's reality and not my imagination!

Hello Gruff and anyone else lurking!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 16/11/2008 15:05

LBOT & Ses- i'm still in disbelief!! I sometimes still dont believe it!! I think when i'm feeling full on kicks, or maybe afterthe 20wk scan i may be 100% in belief.... but i still dont know why i dont feel pregnant!! even after all the sickness!!

OOOOOOOH- I didn't take my cyclazine today... and althoguh i felt a bit sicky this morning i haven't actually been sick!!

My under tha stairs really is like an alladins cave, found a mirror that was a wedding present to DH nanny (who we bought the house off) going to see if FIL can re-mount it so she can have it. Also found a load of golf clubs etc in a bag, just freecycled them as they are huge and we have no use for them!! Also found tons and tons of my teddies from when i was a kid.... so the kids have all of them in the living room playing with them!! They are so exited because they like getting toys that were mummy and daddy's when we were kids!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 16/11/2008 18:01

its very quiet in here!!

I had the worst pain ever in the bottom of my tummy before... was sat on the couch, bent over changing DD's nappy after her nap, went to stand up and it was really painful, like a full stitch all over my tummy... was very painful, but after slowly stretching it out all is well.

Anyone lurking? i'm bored so posting on all the AIBU threads..... someone rescue me!!!

2beautifulgalsandabean · 16/11/2008 18:15

i'm kind of here glask

2beautifulgalsandabean · 16/11/2008 18:16

Forgot to say earlier i felt the babe move last night, first time i could be sure it was definately the babe. DH was very cynical said its too small!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 16/11/2008 18:30

haha!! 2BG- I thought i'd felt movements at about 12 wks... but then didn't feel anything else... so felt it mustn't have been... then just as i said i'd not felt any movements at 16.5wks i felt something later that night.

I'm still only feeling the odd movement, not kicks yet, but i'm happy enough.
