Morning

4 weeks Kay? Whooooo hoooooooooooooooooo

Ses, I was really worried they were going to keep me in, still not sure how I managed to escape... Good luck with the meeting today, and I don't pretend to know much about football but even I raised an eyebrow at Diege's Liverpool!

GYo · 14/11/2008 07:33

Morning

Hurray for being 36wks Kay!! seems like 5mins since you posted saying there was 9 wks to go! Time is flying by....

Phew that you are home Nat- least if its an infection it can be treated- fingers crossed. Hope you are not to tired today.

Have a good day with the boss Ses. I am WFH today - thank god so already sitting and mning working in dining room! Though I have a v grumpy DH on my hands today. Got told off for talking to him AFTER the alarm went off. Whats that all about?

GYo · 14/11/2008 07:43

DH has just come down the stairs and barely said goodbye before leaving. All because I talked to him AFTER the alarm went off-
I just dont understand why some people (MEN)are sooooo grumpy first thing in the morning

kayzisexpecting · 14/11/2008 07:45

Yeah I wouldn't admit to being a Liverpool fan, but I'm lucky and support the best team in the Premiership.

I am so fed up of being pregnant. I can't believe how different 2 pregnancies can be. With DS I was full of life, loving being pregnant and I was out walking nearly everyday of my Mat Leave. This time its a struggle to stay awake once it gets past lunch time.

Some busybody old lady(why are they always old) said to me yesterday "Oh you could have him in just 1 week or it could be 6 yet" CHEERS!!!

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 14/11/2008 08:19

Should have stayed in bed. One of the dogs had done 2 huge and disgusting and smelly piles of diarrhoea on the dining room floor. Conveniently this seems to have been after DH left for work!
Now stuck in traffic!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 14/11/2008 08:27

Morning GYo I think mornings are made for grumpiness! He'll come round, and if he doesn't be sure tomorrow's chat starts before the alarm!

Kays, I was saying about the differences in pregnancies the other day, you can kind of understand it if it was different sexes, but for the same sex, the same level of mum's health, weight, etc. you'd expect it to go the same sort of way each and every time. I suppose it shows just how much pressure going through a pregnancy and birth puts on someones body, even when you feel back to normal afterwards, you're obviously not IYKWIM?

Awww Ses poor dog (though I expect you thought differently!) hope it's better by tonight.

kayzisexpecting · 14/11/2008 08:38

I think some of it is to do with having DS too. Before if I was feeling tired I could just have a nap but now I can't. 9 times out of 10 if I try to nap when he does I don't get to sleep.

Ses, your poor dog and poor you having to clean it up.

tinkisexcitedabouthavingababy · 14/11/2008 08:40

I have just read the funniest thread in a long time. You have to read it.

Morning Tink.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 14/11/2008 08:44

Yes, I suppose having other kids to run around after must have a bearing on it as well Kay.

Morning Tink Next MW appt. is Tuesday, they've been every two weeks for the last couple of months.

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 14/11/2008 08:46

bloody freezing here- knew there was some benefit to being in office- least its warm!

kayzisexpecting · 14/11/2008 10:38

I've got the Bambino Mio ones. They look great, just slightly complicated. I'm sure that between DH and me we can work them out. Hopefully anyway.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 14/11/2008 10:43

Kayz- just read the thread and sat there laughing all the way through!!

Nat- glad you got out, all be it at stupid o'clock in the morning!!

i'm 18wks today!!!! and threw up this morning

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 14/11/2008 10:45

I used bambino mio ones with my 2... think this ones gonna be just a disposable nappy kid tho!! dont know if i have the energy to be washing all the nappies aswell as doing 5 peoples clothing washing, and being a full-time mummy to 3 under 5's!!!

Playingthe9monthwait · 14/11/2008 10:47

Morning all.

Nat - glad they didn't keep u in last night. Hopefully the tests will come back with something they will fix. You going to be under consultant care do you think?

Right, must go and do some work. I'll try and catch up later

kayzisexpecting · 14/11/2008 10:49

I'm slightly worried about all the washing too Glask, but we have a garden and we didn't before so they can dry out there when its nice.

Sorry you were sick again this morning.

Diege · 14/11/2008 10:59

Morning Not had more of a skim through, but wanted to wish HEEBS all the best with her scan today. Look forward to hearing your news
NAT, hope they get to the bottom of things soon. At least you are being listened to now.
Well I've got my drugs, but have stupidly googled and so many sights say do not take in pregnancy unless it's literally a case of harm to me outweighing harm to baby (ie. so sick I'm literally dying) . I'm sure it's fine, as I know so many people who have taken it (my sister included)but I am such a worrier I know I would be anxious throughout pregnancy. So I'm sitting here looking at the bleedin' things, and thinking I may feel normnal again if I take them, then on other hand I am 9 weeks on Monday and for me things start to get better after 10 weeks, so not as if I (touch wood)have to endure for another 20 weeks (jeez, if that was the case I'd consider thalidomide - JOKE!!!!)
Sorry for self-indulgent post - just wanted to get my ramblings into some sort of order!
Have to say I am tempted by the washable nappies, though thinking what with 4 LOs and going back to work, should I just give in to the disposables? Also thinking maybe I'll give breast feeding a go again, but remember the problems at work trying to keep supply up by expressing, withg no fridge/quiet place etc...
Right, I must get dressed..

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 14/11/2008 11:10

how soon after baby is born will you be back at work diege? can you not just BF until then? and then maybe FF during day while your at work, and BF at nights and first thing?

Also i haven't googled anything about my meds purely so i dont worry myself!! I hadn't taken my cyclazine before i was sick this morning, and since taking it have felt 'normal' again... i know how much they are doing for me still!! And at 18wks i doubt its going to get much better now!!

Kayz- I used to put half over the radiators and half on the line, or in winter half in the dryer and half on radiators, then i'd have some clean and dry within hours of washing them, and the others would be dry by the next day.... sounds so simple, but i had to be so organised, if i went a day over i'd run out and need to use dispoaebles anyway...

kayzisexpecting · 14/11/2008 11:16

I might have to save up for a dryer. We could really do with one when its pants weather.

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 14/11/2008 11:18

we're still using the very old one DH's parents gave us a few years back... We keep saying we'll buy a newer one, a bit more energy efficient, but everytime we ahve a chunk of money it gets gobbled up by something else... for example the last thing was the boiler!!
