Morning!

NJ - I have heard of people taking evening primrose oil capsules and then going into labour within 24-72 hrs.

Well sure enough, I was sound asleep at 8.45pm last night! Woke at 1.30 for a wee and then slept til 7. Just no time in the evening to do anything constructive!

LaTour - hope your appointment goes well. Make sure you let us know!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/11/2008 08:16

Oh yes, forgot about the EPO, the one I was thinking of begins with a C, will search it out later.

My hair is wet, DS1's lunch isn't done, the kids are still eating breakfast, I really should know better than to think 'Oh I'll just refresh the page as I am walking past, but won't post yet'

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/11/2008 08:19

Caullophylum - old thread here about it. I am gone now!

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 12/11/2008 08:22

Now I've been sick!
(Ses happily takes on the moaning mantle but just moans about things to be expected!)

Haven't been actually sick (just retching!) for a couple of weeks so thought I was past it!
Btw, am 14+3 today!!

Right no more moaning. Need to get dressed, do an hour working from home and then head off to Eastbourne!

kayzisexpecting · 12/11/2008 08:29

Morning,

Didn't sleep properly last night. DS woke up at 10 to 1 and as usual DH is 'asleep' and can't hear him. So I had to get up and sort him out, got back into bed at half 2 as he didn't want to go back to sleep. Then DH snored all bloody night. Top it all of with BH's. Tried to wake DH so he would stop snoring but couldn't. So fingers crossed I don't go into labour at night or he'll probably sleep through it.

You are only meant to take Raspberry leaf tea after 34 weeks, it says on my box.

Ses, I was asleep early last night. Slept through most of the Arsenal game

LaTour, Hope everything goes well. Be thinking of you today.

Nat, Glad you seem to be better.

Hello to everyone else!!!

tinkisexcitedabouthavingababy · 12/11/2008 08:30

hi ses poor u

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 12/11/2008 08:34

Hi tink, hi Kay!

Kay - sounds like a rotten night

Tink - great news about your friend!

Maybe we should start getting our wagon nursery decorated and ready?!

Feeling better now. What was that about getting dressed though?! Oops! Better get on!

Diege · 12/11/2008 08:42

Morning! I will join the moaners club as well this morning. Slept terribly so as a result sickness just feels amplified today. Snap here KAY wiith dh snoring/tossing and turning all night .

Sorry for your sickness SES - I remember with dd1 my sickness did last till 16 weeks or so, but it DOES end so hold in there. More likely to be a blip at this time anyway than a taste of things to come

That reminds me, had a dream about KAY (??) throwing up after eating orange and yogurt???!!!! I'm sure I remember you posting yesterday about eating them, and I remember thinking, nooooo, not in same meal as orange makes the milk curdle and you will be sick!!! See, I even dream about wagon affairs .

NAT, you're not thinking of castor oil are you??? Don't be tempted!!!

On baby's weight front TINKS they've always been way out with me (for dd1 and 3 anyway). DD1 predicted as a 5 pounder after suspected IUGR - she was 7.6 5 days early . DD2 predicted 7.5-8 pounds, was 8.1; dd3 predicted 6.5 pounds, was 7.11 (and born on 7/11 too - v.clever ). Sooo, I would say from my experience, and from friends', that they frequently underestimate and that you are right to think this dd will be bigger than they predict .

kayzisexpecting · 12/11/2008 08:42

Congrats to your friend Tink. Theo is a gorgeous name. Quite freaky though as I wanted to call this one Theo George!!! But DH said no

GYo · 12/11/2008 08:44

Hello
Thanks for everyones nice comments about my pic

Sorry about sickness Ses -

Sorry for bad night Kay

Yay for your friend tink- so exciting and a lovely name Enjoy shopping.

Hopeing to get out at lunch to book shop for name book... but not sure if I will have time... bloody boss!

Hi everyone else and good luck LaTour if your about !

kayzisexpecting · 12/11/2008 08:45

Diege, It was Glask going on about Oranges. I did say that I like them though.

They predicted DS to be around 7lb and he was 7.2.

Diege · 12/11/2008 09:03

Sorry KAY!! . Think I must have been thinking of your sickness if that makes sense??
Midwife here at 10 and me and house are a mess. Must get going and also catch Harvey as strangely enough people don't generally like birds sitting on their heads!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/11/2008 09:10

Ses, hope you feel better now? I wonder if you being so tired has had anything to do with it (maybe you've got a bug?) Look after yourself either way.

Tink, congrats to your friend Makes me all teary eyed and nervous thinking about an actual baby (rather than a pregnancy!) at the moment, I watched Baby Tales (or whatever it's called) this morning for the first time in ages, and sat blubbing to myself when she had the baby, even though I have seen the same episode before

Diege, nope not castor oil, that is one step too far, even for me! Good luck for later with the MW

I've spoken to LaTour (nearly typed something else then ) she is nervous, but facing it head on. Her appt. is at 9.30 so hopefully they won't be left waiting too long.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/11/2008 09:15

X posts Diege, I remember when we went to Lanzarote, they had a parrot show going on on the first night we were there, they came and put this bloody great big parrot on my head and took a picture, DH was sat there pissing himself at me, I like birds, in the sky, in cages, on the floor, anywhere but on me! Got my own back on DH though, the next act were two, actually v. funny, nun's, with plastic boobs hanging out of their costumes, which one of them grabbed DH's face into Made a good first night!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 12/11/2008 09:19

Ses- sorry you've been sick- i for one know how bad that is... since a week ago last saturday i've only been sick twice and i'm honestly thinking it was purely because of the migrane or some bug!!

GYo- how clear is that pic?? Fab!!

Diege- it was me!! I'm loving yoghurts atm... strawberry muller corners to be exact!! and organic oranges too- and i wasn't sick

I have nearly finished my xmas shopping!!! All i need to get now is 2 white chocolate selection boxes for some friends little ones.... other than that i am all done!!!

Wrapped all our family's and friends Xmas presents last night... going out in 10mins (before DH goes to work) to get some wrapping paper for the kids things and i'll make a start on wrapping them tonight. then it saves me having to make sure i hide them all as once wrapped DC's can't see whats in the boxes!!

Will probs be back later on!! Tata 4 now!!!

SesHashadafab12weekscan · 12/11/2008 09:21

Thanks NJ, feeling much better - have just had some crumpets for breakfast and all seems ok so far... Re: tiredness, it may be worse if my thyroid level isn't right. Must phone up for my test results today.
Will shut up now and remind myself that I should stop with the complaining as a) it's nothing compared with what a lot of you are putting up with at the moment and b) it means I'm going to have a baby (finally!)

Diege - good luck with catching Harvey Midwife!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/11/2008 09:31

Glask you put me to shame, I really should start on the wrapping.

Ses hope the crumpets stay put. If a pregnant woman can't moan then who the bloody well can? Moan away I say, though I have used up 99.9% of my moan cards, am saving the last one for a MIL moan which is sure to come out at some point!

Heebeejeebee · 12/11/2008 09:42

Morning all!

Kay - your night sounds like a nightmare.

Diege - good luck with the midwife - hope you catch Harvey!!!!

GYo - your picture is AMAZING!!!

Ses - sorry to hear about being sick. I was the retching queen this morning. DH thinks its an excuse to get out of loading the dishwasher

NJ thanks for the LaTour update - hope she's getting on ok...

Can't remember who was talking about Theo for a name, but my little nephew is Theo and he's gorgeous

Diege · 12/11/2008 09:43

Arghhh!!! Have just brought up my breakfast through my nose . Very odd sensation indeed. NAT, I think I take at least 30% of the wagon moan cards (maybe we should order some more in before the Xmas rush)

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/11/2008 09:47

Morning Heebee Be honest though, getting out of loading the dishwasher is a nice bonus to being too sick to do it Hope you feel a bit better now?

Diege, that sounds nasty, poor you. Oooooh hadn't thought of ordering more moan cards

Diege · 12/11/2008 10:03

Yes NAT let's get some more moan cards now. I'm sure I saw a 3 for 2 offer on somewhere...
Hi HEEBS! How are things going? I also love the name Theo, and in the most minute chance that I have a boy it would be a front runner.
Well midwife has just rung to postpone visit until tomorrow. A bit deflated as it was my event of the week . She's in the middle of a home birth apparently . In the middle of a Morrison's breakfast more like..

Heebeejeebee · 12/11/2008 10:04

Diege - bleugh.. That's only ever happened to me when I've eaten scallops (I'm allergic)...

NJ - exactly! I think of it as a form of training for DH as he seems to think it is helpful to bring his dishes/glasses through and leave them on top of the dishwasher. My dad used to do this too. I just can't understand why men think its helpful?

I am feeling better now, thanks. I baked some banana/chocolate chip cake at the weekend and ate some on the train which seemed to calm things down a little!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/11/2008 10:15

Oh that's crappy about the MW Diege How dare someone give birth, today of all days?

And never mind 3 for 2 offers, I've got 40 odd quids worth of clubcard vouchers, they work out at 4x the amount with most places, I we can get over £160 worth of moan cards Should see me us through till the end of the day

Lol at DH's helping Heebee, actually I really shouldn't moan about DH he has been great, I've barely moved for the last few days and the house is still pretty much together and ticking along, all down to him.

GYo · 12/11/2008 10:21

I just dont know how you lot stay so jolly when feeling so bleughhhhhhhh- though thats quite grim about breakfast through nose Diege

sorry to hear MW is delayed hate it when that happens- such an anticlimax. Did you catch Harvey for no good reason?
