Wow this thread has been very busy! And very mixed emotinally.....

I'm so sorry to hear your news C1ndy, I really hope you have the support you need to get through this difficult time. Wishing you all the very best huni xxxx

And I'm so pleased to hear your news funtime. Take it easy and take it a day at a time, that's all we can do.

Hope everyone else is ok xxxxxxx

Heebychick · 31/03/2009 09:14

wanabe hello honey, haven't seen you for a while! how are you doing?

I have been asked to go and have a glucose test done as my sugar levels are high (probably all those pre-easter easter eggs), i had to have one with DD as she was quite a large girl at 30+ weeks. Hope i'm not in for another big one - mind you it did help on the feeding/sleeping front so maybe it won't be so bad.

iggypiggy · 31/03/2009 09:22

hi all - just had early scan yesterday and is not good news - foetus is measuring a week too small (6 1/2 weeks instead of 7 1/2 weeks) and heart rate is very slow. Doctor v. negative about it all - especially as I don't have very bad PG symptoms - he says it all a bad sign. Got to go back on April 8th for second scan.

funtimewincies · 31/03/2009 09:41

Keeping everything crossed for you iggy and I've posted something about pg symptoms on the other thread.

Thanks and good to see you wannabe, hope you're spared a whopper heeby .

iggypiggy · 31/03/2009 09:53

Thanks again funtime xx

Also - posted on other thread - but wanted to say that am sorry to hear your news c1ndy

Heebychick · 31/03/2009 13:01

Fingers crossed for you iggy i hope you just have a lazy bean who is chilled out from the start!

If it helps to cheer everyone up my 2 yr old DD headbutted me during some rough and tumble time yesterday (by accident!) and i now have a very painful nose!! have broken it before so am sure this is part 2 - nice.

Heebychick · 31/03/2009 13:02

That'll teach me to tease her!

smileycat · 31/03/2009 15:57

Iggy keep positive, I know it all looks a little bleek but the bean does still have a heartbeat & as heeby said it may be a lazy bean just slow to get started. I heard about a lady who had a similar situation to you & booked in at 12wks to have a termination & they scanned her first as a precaution & found the baby fit & heathly & the heart beating away & she went on to have a normal delivery at 39 wks

iggypiggy · 31/03/2009 16:52

Thank you heeby I hope so.

thanks for that smiley is nice to hear positive outcome - have been torturing myself with internet searches all day

nelix2000 · 01/04/2009 13:57

Hello iggy sorry I have not posted until now. Hope everything goes ok for youwe need to keep the positive vibes going!

iggypiggy · 02/04/2009 09:20

thanks nelix much appreciated x

Have small amount of blood this am and mild AF type cramps. I don't think is good

Pezzina · 02/04/2009 11:26

Sorry to hear that Iggy

I hope that it turns out to be an isolated bleed. I've had a couple of those so far this pregnancy.

My M/W told me that if you bleed you should go to the EPU for them to scan you and see whats happening? Is that an option for you?

Heebychick · 02/04/2009 12:16

fingers crossed for you iggy please try and stay positive and like pezz says can you maybe see a hospital or EPU for advice and a scan etc?

iggypiggy · 02/04/2009 12:23

Thanks both

On to up side - this is when AF would have been due - which is a common time to have spotting isn't it?

Pezzina · 02/04/2009 12:56

Iggy thats right - thats when I had mine too.

How are you bearing up?

smileycat · 02/04/2009 13:05

me too I had a small bleed at 5/6wks. Hang in there xxx

iggypiggy · 02/04/2009 13:06

Am ok during the day at work (where no-one knows and so all act normally) but the minute I leave and am in car I start getting tearful - and poor DH has that all evening!

But there isn't anything I can do i guess - so will see how it goes with the bleeding. But I would say almost 100% of my PG symptoms have gone and that I think I know what the outcome will be. MN is being great tho x

Heebychick · 02/04/2009 14:20

iggy i don't want to give you false hope either but to be truthful i also had a bleed at 4 weeks and at 8 weeks then cramps for a few months afterwards. I also had hardly any pg symptoms except the tiredness and had a bit of nausea which was nice but a worry too.

I hope you can get checked out soon honey, lots of love xxx

iggypiggy · 02/04/2009 14:30

I am exactly 8 weeks today... But I literally have no sypmtoms - am no longer so tired - am not needing loo all the time - am not nauseous any more - am not bloated...

I spoke to Dr and they said to come in if start bleeding alot - but otherwise, if is just spotting wait till scan on Tues.

Thanks so much heeby - am such a misery at the mo. xx

C1NDY · 02/04/2009 15:04

Thank you all for your kind words and support. I have been in hospital for three days as the bleeding became very heavy .. .sorry for TMI. I went through quite a lot of emotion last week...actually was turning into a nasty bitch... blamed everyone.. DH took my ranting on the chin and now I am much calmer! I am going to try again in June as I need to wait two cycles.

BUT honestly, thank you so much for caring. I will chat to you all soon.

Please forgive me but I haven't been able to read all the posts as I am still bleeding and in pain ... but I will get a moment to read all your posts - so sorry if I have missed anything.

Iggy - the only post I have read... my fingers are crossed for you. Things happen for a reason... so stay positive!!! I know its hard but nature does what it needs to. My fingers and toes are crossed for you that all goes well.

Laters
Cindy

Pezzina · 03/04/2009 10:33

Hi Cindy I'm so sorry you've had to be in hospital. Big hugs and lots of love to you and your family. I'm glad you're getting lots of support from your DH. Its a good idea to give yourself a break and start trying again in June. Be kind to yourself, lots of pampering and 'me' time is called for. xxx

funtimewincies · 03/04/2009 19:20

Sorry to hear that you've had to have a stint in hospital C1NDY. Completely agree that you need space and time to get your head around this.

Iggy - still keeping everything crossed.

Well, it's 5+5 in the Funtime house and it's still sticking...Xmas Smile.

funtimewincies · 03/04/2009 19:21

Oops that should have been !

Read what they mean, not what they say .

smileycat · 06/04/2009 08:28

good morning ladies
C1ndy iggy big hugs to you both

I've got the dentist today, never look forward to that but I guess on the up side if I do need any treatment at least it will be free
Only 2 wks today until I get my detailed scan & find out if I'm having a girl or a boy, so excited. I'm off work for the next two wks & hoping to go up the coast in Spain for 3 or 4 days next wks to veg by the pool

How is everyone else keeping Nelix you must be nearly there now, how you feeling, bet your at that stage when you can't wait to get your body back to yourself & of course to see your little girl. I still feel like that day is forever away but I know it will be here before I know it

iggypiggy · 06/04/2009 09:46

Thanks for your thoughts c1ndy I hope you are feeling a bit better soon. x

Hope everyone else ok xx
