we ran out of space! feels just like my womb!

Morning ladies - not the best night as DD wet her bed and cam in with us, I finally managed to get back to sleep though. DH is having another lie-in!!

I had to laugh this morning, DH has been telling everyone for the last 2 weeks that I'll be having the baby today between 2 and 4 as he's a huge Man U fan and they're playing Chelsea. Even DD said to me this morning that Daddy was convinced that I'm having the baby today and I said that I didn't feel like I was going to and then .....

Went to the toilet and I've had a bit of a show!! So, how long could it be?? If it's born today it'd be 39+4 exactly the same as DD!

Congrats Izzybiz. Am graduating you and adding Treadmillmum to the list as I forgot earlier!!

Ninja I had a bit of a show on Friday morning after Thursday's sweep. And have done a little every day since!! Still no baby tho!

Fair enough - I don't mind having a few more days of Mat leave especially if the weather stays good!!

Last time tho' I had 2 contractions 45 mins apart, then a show and the contractions gradually got closer until she was born the next day, very straightforward!!

Thats what I've been hoping for for the last 2 days

Am getting sick of the 10 calls a day asking if I've had the baby yet! Cuz I'm going to keep it secret aren't I?????? I wouldn't mind but its all ladies who have had babies and know that they never come on time!

Sorry, rant over.

I know - I'm getting a bit sick of the 'It can't be long now', 'are you still here', 'you look like you're about to pop' comments. As all they say to me is 'you look like a beached whale!!'

I guess the alternative is being clueless like my Dad who I spoke to yesterday and asked me in all seriousness 'are you thinking of coming over to visit in the next couple of weeks'!

not bad seeing as yesterday was her due date, so even though she was just barely into the next day, she certainly went into labour on her due date.

Good morning ladies and bumps. My due date is actually tomorrow . I'll change it in a minute.

Still not even a twinge from me. I had the worst nights sleep. I was bed swapping like a woman possessed, ended up settling in d/s bottom bunk at 4.30am whilst he slept in our bed and now I have to get ready to be godmother at a baptism today, I really feel like knocking it on the head but can't, unless I go into labour this minute.

Re: sweep....I must admit I dont like the sound of it and from my research it seems a bit pointless anyway if nothing is happening down there? My dh is very excited as he thinks they will give us a day for induction tomororow....but not sure how I feel about that either tbh. Whats the point risking a failed induction just because I am fed up and tired? Oh dear...I can see tomorrows hospital appointment being very stressful and confusing
I never see the same same registrar twice and they were really dismissive of my concerns last time - I cried most of the way home.

Added to all this - this week is my dh's firms' half year financial end and he in under lots of pressure from them. He even had to go in yesterday (unpaid of course!).

Re: epidurals...my attitude is the same as last time - If I want one I'll have one. As I have found to my cost this time, no 2 pregnancies are alike and I assume its the same for births!

Lorea did not like the snuggle nest, now does not slep in the crib and I am off now to buy a mosses basket. It is a good thing I can sell the stuff in a second hand second shop in my city!!!!!

Well things may be starting to happen here... had frequent painful BH all night and just had a huge show . Now quite painful tightenings every 6 mins or so... keep fingers crossed for me!

Jearund i just read your story. well done! And you managed to cuddle Dougie straight after coming out!!!!!!!CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU< YOUR DH AND YOUR DD

Am just trying to concentrate on relaxing at the mo...and laughing at DH trying to figure out how to get the TENS working!
