Aaah - but still can't do italics, which she thought was what the code was. my baby has robbed me of my brain cells - and my nutrition, and all my moisture

rosieposey · 02/10/2008 21:35

Can i just add for your delectation MS that S/burys currently have a three for two going on on all of their patisserie products ( i know because i had two cupcakes, one lemon and one chocolate ) and felt guilty guilty guilty afterwards - oh well halo slipped but back on the anti sugar bandwagon tomorrow

rosieposey · 02/10/2008 21:37

Oh yeah pinktulips - i hate being bloody pregnant too, back, hips, arse ect ect hurts and i feel like shite ... but cant wait for the end product!

Hey is anyone still lying on their tummies? I am and im starting to worry that it might hurt lo ?

MarkStretch · 02/10/2008 21:41

Damn you and your temptation Rosie!

I WANT CAKE!

OP posts:
mrsy · 02/10/2008 21:41

just fell sleep whilst typing a post to correct my previous post - and ask rosie what she did with the third cupcake!

night, night, lovely people...

PinkTulips · 02/10/2008 21:52

rosie, as long as it's comfortable it's fine. i'm still on my tummy too and relishing it as it'll be damn near impossible with a bf-ing baby in the bed with me, not to mention balloon boobs, so could be a while!

mrsy.... you have to do them around each word... it's quite annoying to type actually!

rosieposey · 02/10/2008 22:01

DP nicked it mrsy! otherwise i would have had the third - i cant cant just cant go back to s/burys for a while now ( i just really missed cakes )

Am off to bed now too (well in bed already actually) in the hope that DP's snootling doesnt disturb me again tonight - have cunningly bought a stop snoring device from the chemist which apparently emits a weak electrical pulse if it detects more than three snores into the wristband that he wears... i wonder if you can turn it up ...

PinkTulips · 02/10/2008 22:14

i cured dp of snoring.

i kicked him in the crotch poked him really hard every time he started. he's a really deep sleeper so never woke up but oddly enough he hasn't snored in years

TinkerBellesMum · 03/10/2008 00:22

Thanks everyone. We?ve just been out for dinner with my parents and Tink, she?s lost loads of weight and very clingy, not to anyone in particular, we?ve been passing her, the booster seat and her ?din-din? around the table! Mum said she constantly wants to be close and snuggle. She?s been taking her inhalers a lot better today and hopefully should be off them tomorrow and back to normal. She?s spending the day with her godmother, apparently she and Mum have been fighting because she wants to have her overnight Mum said she can?t have Tink because she has a husband and three boys (not sure what that has to do with anything lol).

Lardy, be grateful to remain in the dark about GF! She?s horrid, Google her name with MN and see what you get (strapping babies to rockets I think the quote goes!) it caused some amusement when she publically lashed out at Claire Verity as she is of a rather similar school.

Biscuity, I?m going to have two girls and very excited! I think how they get on will depend on the children and how you parent them more than what combo they are.

We went out to an Indian tonight, it wasn?t as nice as the one that started my cravings off, so I?m going to have to start calling them in! We?ve been going to this one for years but they?re a little too spicy for me - and I like my food spicy!

LOL MS, that?s next week! We?re also looking into Christmas shopping because we don?t think we?ll have much opportunity closer to and it?s not that far away anyway. We?re going to make calendars again this year (if anyone would like their own send me a message via Facebook) to cut down on cost and too much thinking and just buy for the kids. Are we having group cravings here? I seem to have gone mad about Mars Bars and I went off them after I had Tink and lived on them for awhile!

I think I?ve got milk, Tink has been asking a lot lately (probably because she?s not eating well) and she seems to be getting some. The other day she fell asleep and clamped so I took her off. She did something she hasn?t done in a long time; she crawled up my chest and latched onto my neck!

Mrsy, one word at a time / one word at a time!

Rosie, you will hurt yourself before you hurt the baby, so just lie as you?re comfortable, if you?re not move. Easy!

My back is killing today (waist-calves), I gave it hell at the weekend and didn't notice (having Tink on my lap all day with one foot resting on the other knee) the pain so I think it's finally caught up with me. I tried to call the physio today and will try again tomorrow if she hasn't returned my call.

mrsy · 03/10/2008 07:44

Morning all -

TBM - glad to hear that things have calmed down.

O&U - mine was gonna be Due Feb 2009 - Curry and Cake Club!

I've already bought a few pressies, partly cos I saw really good ones, and partly to spread the cost. I think John and I are gonna buy a joint present for each other, to reduce purse pain!

Am off to work - have a good day all!

mumoverseas · 03/10/2008 09:18

TBM glad to see Tinks is a bit bettter. Like you say, hopefully the warmer weather in Malta will help a bit. Sorry you are having back problems, I am too. Had major spinal surgery 8 years ago and have metal pins in my lower back. At the time I assured the surgeon I woudn't have more children as they warned that would be a problem! oops

like the curry and cake themes. Keep craving curry but whenever I have it I get really bad heartburn/indigestion afterwards. Might switch to cakes instead.
Am so envious of all you ladies who know what flavour baby you are having. I'm suddenly dying to know and have to wait another 2 1/2 weeks.

KazzaL · 03/10/2008 09:19

DS seems to finally be on the mend (hopefully not jinxing things) took advice to cut out dairy, couldn't take his bottle, but cut out for the rest of the day and things seem to be more solid.

Scan at 12.30 today, but DH won't be able to come as the hosp won't let children in the room and as DS isn't in nursery and all my non-working friends seem to be ill or their LOs are ill. Will I be able to resist finding out the flavour we had another discussion about it this morning and DH is def in the no camp - he's being optimistic as he says I'll be the disappointed one

have a good day all

mumoverseas · 03/10/2008 09:37

good luck for your scan Kazza. I'd find it really hard myself not asking!

onwardandupward · 03/10/2008 10:01

New thread is here come on over!

TinkerBellesMum · 03/10/2008 10:10

mumoverseas I fell three years ago down some stairs, I was pregnant with Lily-Hope at the time and it sparked off PGP. I had her a few days after the fall (PGP pain masked the labour it was so bad) and it didn't go away, well it did for a month then hit back hard. Started pregnancy with Tink with PGP and with that and the time I spent in a hospital bed it just got worse. I was supposed to be on crutches by the end but TBD couldn't get hold of the CMW and I had Tink early before it was sorted. This time "twinges" in my dimples was my pregnancy test!

Just put the phone down from the physio department returning my call from yesterday, they want me to come in at 1pm and they're going to sort me out with crutches.

laidbackinengland · 03/10/2008 13:11

So.................

After 11 years of all boy action........

Today I found out that DC4 is........

A Girl !

What will I do with one of those ?

laidbackinengland · 03/10/2008 13:13

Rosie - just had a thought, I could marry off my 3 boys and a girl with your 3 girls and a boy or oooggs, if our kids decide that 'civil partnerships' are their thing, we could partner off our three boys and a girl . Do you both pay large dowries ??

laidbackinengland · 03/10/2008 13:14

KazzaL - how did your scan go ?
