Well I did feed him (obviously LOL). BFing is still painful on latching on and sometimes midfeed although the BFCs say his latch is fine. I think I just get claustrophobic and want him to leave me alone.
DH has suggested me and Kurt go stay at my mum's tonight which is sensible (might get another hour or so sleep.) But I feel really lonely and want DH to sleep in our room tonight which is stupid because then he'd be knackered and he has to deal with the kids. What should I do?

CONGRATS Bohemiam and Hazie!!!

DH just left to have some MAN TIME with friends. It's all part of a Fantasy Football League thing he's involved in (don't worry if you haven't a clue what that is). He may or may not have a beer but he could use a break plus I'll have him stop for a few grocery items on his way.

I have been on the sofa most of the morning. REST! REST! REST! REST!

DD1 has been warned the next time she slams her bedroom door in protest her father is removing it completely. I think she's getting the picture ALTHOUGH VERY SLOWLY.

Buckets I think we're all hitting emotional walls randomly. I was mid-sentence with DH early and started crying....... {{{{hugs}}}.

On the feeding front I found some comments out on Yahoo that made me feel much better about how Reese is feeding. Based on this she is NORMAL and not over feeding in the slightest. She is currently at 1oz an hour (that's looking at 24 hours worth of feedings.)

CHOCOLATES FOR ALL!!

Buckets I think your DH is probably right. Everything looks, seems, is so much harder and worse when you're tired. Let your mum take the strain for a night and hopefully you'll feel much more upbeat tomorrow (((hugs)))

Sunday afternoon boredom has descended...bored of being pregnant, bored of having thrush, bored of acid bloody reflux, bored of waiting for signs of labour to start. DP is bored too - a Microsoft service pack has installed itself on his computer and totally fucked it up, so he's annoyed about that.

Just catching up. Congrats to Bohem and Hazie Annvan so sorry for leaving you at the bottom. I just couldnt take it no more.
All going well here so far, but very tired still.
DD had a bit of a wobble today when I was feeding Marcus, She wanted me to put him down. Shaking her head and hands saying no.
Felt awful but I knew she was overtired. Bless

I sent dh out to club to see his dad for a while, I heard him with dd this morning, think his patience was wearing thin and he sounded stressed.
Which was winding me up so I sent him on his way.
He prepared a lovely sunday roast which I cooked and dished up.

Breast feeding is a s frustrating as ever.
Its the whole not knowing how much they are getting and if they are feeding or sucking for comfort.

Marcus fed last night from aroun 7pm on and off till 1.30am we managed 3 hours sleep then he fed from 4.301m till 6am.

So have been feeding him regularly all day today.
He seems to be a very lazy/sleepy feeder so have been taking his feet out tickling, stroking cheek, skin to skin etc....

at all you ladies with thoughts of another LO. I have to say that I love being pregnant and this time round almost enjoyed the birth and finding this stage suprisingly good but know that this is it for us. The idea of a larger family is lovely, but in reality, two is what's best for us and feel very blessed with the ones I've got, so will stop here. Managed to offload most of my pg clothes on my sister today and the rest will all go to the charity shop and the baby stuff will follow once it's finished with. Fully expect hormonal pangs in about 18 months, but a dog will have to suffice. Onwards and upwards!

AnnVan I am near bottom of list with you, and am experiencing horrendous insomnia lately. Can't sleep in bed with hubby anymore as felt too guilty disturbing him with my tossing and turning. last night I lay awake from 1am till 4.30am for no apparent reason! I am usually a brilliant sleeper so I am finding it really annoying now! I am expecting a boy (had a girl 5 yrs ago) this time, last pregnancy I slept no problems right up till 10 days overdue!!
MW won't do a sweep until I'm 7 days overdue so am not particularly hopeful about going into labour anytime soon. Its really hard to keep reading about all these ladies and their new babies! very !
Congratulations to everyone though, and BIG labour vibes to all of us still waiting....

Hello all! Congrats to No1, TS, Mummypud, Hazie, LofW and Boho. Just managed to catch up.

It was my due date today and I see that I've moved into the Waiting Room. I'm glad to get the day over with as I was getting really hacked off with people saying to me "OOoohh well maybe this one will suprise you and be early" (DS was 41+4) that I feel nice and smug to have proved them wrong. Hah!

People are starting to look at me nervously and eerily the phone has stopped ringing as no-one wants to be the person who asks 'Any twinges'. Well, except for my dear mother who is phoning and pissing me off a LOT:

"I can't make any plans for next week until I know what you're doing"
"Have you lost any weight during this pregnancy?"
"You can't be half as uncomfortable as I was in the last weeks then, if you're happy to stay pregnant even another day"

All this from a woman who doesn't even KNOW my due date. I didn't tell her or anyone else, just said 'late Aug'. Grrrrr.

Not feeling any physical signs that babe is on the way. My mobility seems to change within hours, sometimes I can hardly walk from pain and then 20 minutes later I'm fine. Spending most of my time cleaning. More of the kitchen cupboards today.

Quite happy to cling on and for Ooops and Cyteen to beat me to the finish line.

Should probably go to bed but had a good hour's nap this afternoon and don't feel too sleepy. Wishing you all lovely peaceful Bank Holiday weekends (Sorry Scot/Overseas MNs!)

Hi Ellasmum. The sleeping thing is a rat, isn't it. We had a beautiful new comfy mattress delivered last week and I still haven't had a full night's sleep on it. I always end up in the spare room by 3am. Are you managing to catch any naps in the day (with a 5yo around )

hi libbyssister, congrats on reaching the big date! I'm tomorrow now!! I can't really nap in the day thanks to the school hols but will be able to from next tue when it reopens!! Am just living life as a zombie really, but at least am prepared for life with new baby!
have just done some bouncing up and down on newly pumped up birthball thing(dd will think xmas has come early when she finds it in morning!) and should now go to bed in spare bed in dd's pink bedroom and lie there trying to sleep . Good luck sleeping to everyone else xx

Gosh our list is getting short isn't it? Ellasmum The sleeping thing is awful. I fell asleep before midnight having had no sleep in about 31 hours. And was wide awake again 3 hours later! how is that right? Anyway, will be making a hot milky drink in the hope that it will help. My continuing optimism about these things amazes even me sometimes, as so far, the hot milky drinks have done nothing but taste rather nice!
I guess I, too will be prepared for new babydom.
No1 no worries - enjoy your new LO and hopefully I will be joining you in the new mum campsoon!

somehow my laptop managed to disable the mousepad by itself! got really pissed off cos I couldn't do anything and couldn't igure out why mouse wasn't working. How on earth did that happen? I didn't do it and DP certainly didn't? This laptop is on its last legs, lets hope it holds out until we have time/money for a new PC!

I'm still waiting too. DUE TOMORROW Ellasmum i have the same sleeping problems to, was ok up until last week but now i keep waking at about 4am.

As some of you might know this will be my 4 , i have 3 girls already.(all drug free births)

I have been really scared about giving birth this time, got myself into such a state last week that i kept getting sick.
Went to see consult last thursday and he has agreeded to do an ele/section tomorrow, said i'm not doing myself or baby any favors, but if i want to wait i can.

Can somebody enlighten me and tell me the procedure as i don't have a clue.

1:I have to collect Pre meds today. Why? what for?

2:Do i have to have a wee bag (sorry can't remember name)? and if so for how long?
when do they put it in?
Is it better to get it taken out sooner rather than later?

3:How long does section take? Start to finish?

4: Is there anything you need to bring in to the hospital thats different from a stright forward birth?

Can you tell i'm a bit nervous, i hope i'm making the right desision, as my youngest is 2 in a few weeks.
