Congratulations stillhere. So glad it all went so well and the bf is good this time too. Sorry - think I forgot you nezzi. Congrats to you too!

Poor you TS. We had some spectacular middle of the night vomitting last week, every night. Washing machine on full pelt!

Dr told me I'd need counselling to have another coil fitted . What on earth is that about? I don't like hormones and I've had it before. What on earth do they need to counsel me about?! Just hoping I can get it installed asap as I SO don't want to be on another of these threads soon - not a reflection on you lovely ladies of course though!

TwilightSurfer · 03/09/2008 11:06

Hi all
Have not read all the posts but what I have read has made me lol

Agree with TS what is with the explosion of sex (ow ow ow!) Not going there for a while. My bleeding shows no sign of abating anytime soon so I doubt there will be any action there for a bit.

sazzles think it is your dh who is having the snip?? Marie Stopes will do it quickly if he wants it done privately but obv that is not with your current private health insurance. dh keeps looking very glum when he tells people he's having it done... but I may have sped him up on the process when I said yesterday 'are you SURE you don't want just another one'

VGHope you are feeling better. The guilt will go, don't worry and your elder ds won't even remember this 'Summer' in time.

Cleaning - hmmm, mil is taking care of the washing and ironing at the moment, nothing else is getting done - will be interesting when she goes. Next week the cleaners come though - hooray and they can blitz it.

Go to go and feed little man stillhere congrats and I think the homebirth helped me too, milk definitely came in much faster than usual for one thing

miamla · 03/09/2008 12:08

TS and sazzles looks like our LOs are secretly communicating with each other... I had exactly the same feed patterns as you last night!

my car is packed with marshmallows, crumpets and a few warm snuggly blankets... we WILL have a fire today regardless of the status of the sun!

VG agree with you about our DPs needing to get real lives! Mine thinks its funny that I dont call people by their real names. I know most of us are on FB but i can never remember who's who!

Would you believe DP was trying to convince me to do it without protection last night! I do wonder about him sometimes!

stillhere wow, sounds like you had such a lovely experience. congratulations to you all

ooooh, is annvan having a baby??

dizzydixies · 03/09/2008 12:08

just a quicky before visitors

congrats Nezzi & stillhere - two more lovely babies!

I've been upstairs snoozing with Dylan after the night from hell - she's snuffly so feeding a bit then dozing then feeding - carry on for rest of night and there we go
meanwhile dh has slaughtered the garden, he was off to cut the lawns and has demolished, from what I can see from here, the lavender and another massive bush and the peenie (sp?) rose, sigh, suppose thats summer over then according to him

VG just checking on how you're doing today - may I say, without sounding preachy I hope, that coldsores are the sign of being run down (dh gets horrible ones too) and can you PLEASE either get on a post natal multi vitamin or some echinecea? You've been doing so well with the wee man, I'd hate to think you've no reserve left for yourself

also, having just looked at your photo, I think I am officially in love and I'm NEVER in love with other people's children - he is ABSOLUTELY beautiful

miamla · 03/09/2008 12:27

dizzy damn, missed an opportunity there didn't i!

the other mother may have looked well turned out but i'll bet she isn't half the mother you are.
Yup, i'm also wearing a slept in tshirt but i also smell of eau de babysick! its all the rage dont you know!

AnnVan · 03/09/2008 12:57

Hello everyone! No sadly baby has not decided to shift yet. I had a rubbish night (big surprise) andso I just couldn't be bothered to get out o bed this morning. Eventually got dragged out by theringing of the phone. Which leads me to a bit of a rant...

Mybloody mother drives me round the twist. She really does. She sks me how I am and I say 'I feel as if I'm in limbo, nothing to do but float rom day to day not knowing when baby's going decide to come' she promptly goes all doom and gloom on me 'Ooh I foresee problems' followed by 'there's no point getting frustrated' - did I say anything about frustration?? - then 'there's nothing you can do about it' - no SHIT sherlock, I thought I could stick a hand up there and drag it out! Am I wrong? Gah. I mean, I wasn't being frustrated, just describing what the time is like, and her 'there's nothing you can do about it' is very annoying, i'm only too bloody aware that there's nothing I can do about it. Aaaaaaaargh.

Sorry. Ms Hyde will go back in her internal cage again. I try not to get annoyed with my parents, I know they're not as bad as they used to be, but still...

And I feel like I'm going to pop if this baby stays in here any longer. The skin on my bump feels horrible, all burning and stretching. Sorry for the moan everyone. Nothing like a conversation with my mum to put me in a bad mood first thing in the morning.

Anyway - I have relexology appointment booked for 2, so should really get my skates on. Will see you all later!

ataraxis · 03/09/2008 13:23

Hi Annvan - me too...but i realised today that my LMP date would be tomorrow, and also when i had the growth scan the sonographer said it was measuring a week early (ie due date tomorrow). at dating scan now... at least that's my theory for not getting too stressed out about the whole thing.

Sounds rubbish, but try to do one thing you want to do each day, that way you have 'achieved' and don't feel quite so much in limbo. Doesn't have to be big, but preferably something you have been meaning to do for a while but haven't got around to?

Aren't you having reflexology today? Hope that helps.
Are you booked in for a sweep at any point soon?

PS - i have stopped answering the phone - totally letting the answerphone get them all and then calling back the people I want to as and when i feel like talking.

AnnVan · 03/09/2008 13:25

Thanks Ataraxis - I think I might tackle the tip that is the 'spare room'. That should keep me busy for a few days!

ataraxis · 03/09/2008 13:26

Congratulations nezzie and stillhere

ataraxis · 03/09/2008 13:27

You're welcome annvan - good luck for this afternoon.

ataraxis · 03/09/2008 13:28

oh, and yes you lot who are indulging in no-bump sex ... now I know one person who will have 10 months between babies and one who will have 11.5 - so BE CAREFUL!

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 03/09/2008 13:34

Congrats to Nezzie and Stiilhere

Very funny on here today I have lol at nearly every post.
DH has cleaned stripped and brought back in the highchair. We have removed the harness, as she is never left alone in it, but will look for one she can fasten.
Sazzles Yes it does have a podium between legs thank god.
It is a mamas &papas prima papa, think sister paid a ridiculous price for it so felt slighty guilty throwing it outside.

Cant remember who asked was it miamla
Yes the patio doors were open, thankfully lol.
Think that would have been one step too far breaking the new conservatory door
(would have felt good though.)

Took dd with ds to soft play this morning, so she could let of some energy and a change of scenery.

Thanks for advice regarding BF ladies think I have been emptying too much therefore producing more.
