ILTS, still no baby yet but lots of contractions all day long. I've also got loads of funny feeling in my fango. Baby's been wriggling all around for the past hour. All I've wanted to do all day is sleep. DH just headed off to bed just in case it's a long night. He's been a GEM today keeping DD entertained and happy. I want her last day with us alone to be SUPER....and today I think scores really high on the list. I've got her from now until bed. I want her cuddles before I go back to bed in the event I have to leave in the middle of the night.

Just caught a chat thread where it looks like Warthog may be in labour. She signed off to go make sure her hospital bag was packed.

And I just phoned the birthing center to make sure they weren't at capacity. Feeling like things might start happening here. Fingers crossed.

Full Moon is Upon Us!!

Congrats all -we're at even stevens again!A long post because I can't manage to BF and MN at the same time so grabing a few minutes to catch up whilst Sam is asleep and DH watching him.

Agree the olympics has been a godsend but I'm in the same timezone as Beijing so have had to resort to watching premiership football this weekend when Sam is awake (I think DH is secretly rather pleased).

DH going back to work on Wednesday and Thursday which I am dreading.

Sam feeding ok now has some sicky times that I think someone else was asking about. The lactation consultant said it was perfectly normal and looks more than it is (she likened it to pouring a tablespoon of milk on a flat surface and seeing how much it spreads).

TS your explanation of the nursery/delivery room seems the same as what I had here in Singapore. Yet because I delivered on 8/8/8 Sammy was sharing one of the 2 nurseries with 24 other babies . We did have Sam 'room-in' with us though after those first few hours and we had quite a long wait in the delivery suite because there wasn't a room ready at the time.

Hope the full moon brings some more arrivals - especially TS!

Oh and I'm still at home. [TMI]Stuff is falling out of me now though so I wouldn't think it would be too much longer before my waters broke. Have just been round the cul-de-sac bathed in full moon light. Got hungry so came back in for toast and oj. Will return to walking since it's making my contractions stronger (and making my fango hurt too). That has to be a good thing. No one in my house is up yet, apart from the cats. Trying not to be mad things have taken so long but it's getting harder each day. Baby is moving around WWAAYY more than I expected at this point. Feels really odd. Okay enough with the chatting.....back outside to walk..............
