Loving that list Nappyaddict
Think will work my way through it.
I have already done the mammoth dust hoover mop thing the other day (dh was wondering what was happening) as I am no domestic goddess
All I got was an afternoon of constant Braxton H.
Sex out of question DH hasnt been near me since we concieved and not a chance in hell of any now. Even the MW told him it could work. Think he wanted to be sick

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 17/08/2008 14:22

Next door have a trampoline. They go away in the morning too
So wouldnt have to witness me trying to climb up on it.
Also can imagine kids faces thinking I would burst it

nappyaddict · 17/08/2008 14:24

ah you've done dusting, hoovering and mopping but you haven't done sweeping

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 17/08/2008 14:33

ah I actually tried it last week god it was quite hard TBH.
I was house sitting for sister looking after dog,2 fish tanks, 4 rabbits 2, guinea pigs etc...
So was trying to keep the yard tidy what with all the sawdust and hay but gave it up as a bad job
I really am useless you know.

TwilightSurfer · 17/08/2008 14:36

Nope no word on Warthog. But I must say Nappy I've done about everything on your list (except the sex...YUK).

Still here. DD just threw a FIT and SCREAMED at the top of her lungs FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON. Like I need added stress right now. I'd like to SCREAM. I'd SCREAM at everyone to GET OUT OF MY HOUSE. Then I'd SCREAM at the doctor and tell him to come over here and get this BABY OUT NOW!!! But NOOOOOO...I am an ADULT and must contain myself.

OP posts:
nappyaddict · 17/08/2008 14:49

you've done the ketchup, soda, bbq sauce mix - yuk

iliketosleep · 17/08/2008 15:04

Well i did the sex thing last night and its done absolutly nothing, of course its Dps fault, he didn't do it right/his sperm is shite etc nothing to do with me

nappyaddict · 17/08/2008 15:08

ah but was it bouncy on the top sex

Buckets · 17/08/2008 15:29

Hi all, smug message coming up...

Had lovely night and long morning in bed with Kurt at my mum's house. Weighed myself (don't have scales at home) and I am only 75kg - was 72kg at 16wks pg so hurrah, nearly there already! Was 82kg at 36wks so minus approx 4Kg of baby, that means I've lost at least 3kg in 2 wks of sitting on my arse. Maybe there is something to this breastfeeding nonsense afterall, (all those tears must weigh something lol).

Drove all 3 kids to playground ALL BY MYSELF just now! Bought ice creams from the van, felt we all deserved them.

ILikeToSleep PMSL. My first labour was started by bouncy on-top sex (was it me who coined that phrase?) and this one was started by a doggy style sesh iirc. Another idea I've heard is driving up and down a pot-holey road.

iliketosleep · 17/08/2008 15:42

No, not bouncy-on-the-top-style lol

Was more standing up half doggy style leaning on pillows to support my huge belly, did i say sex? I meant military operation

Just nipped to the shop and had to go over speed hump things. Thats like a pot holey road

alittlebitshy · 17/08/2008 16:24

is that the technical term buckets? (bouncy-on-top-sex)

Well, we had friends over as I said. A freind of dh's was playing guitar at church cos all our musicians are off. They have a 22 month old and a 18 day old. Was really nice to see someone with a same age baby (although their ds is sleeping a BIG chunk of the night (she thinks it's cos she's ff him in the eve and at night and bf in the day) - though he is in his own room too.

Henry wasn't at all sure about church. he didn't cry much - just looked v wide eyed and did not go to sleep at a time (relative to when he'd woken up/fed) when he normally might. Then we had our first poo up the back incident followed by a wee across the changing mat (this is all in the choir vestry at church) - so I got him sorted, went out handed him to the curate (in his 50s had 4 babies so not totally at being handed a baby) and went to sort out the puddle of wee on the floor lol!!!

I must weigh myself. I'd lost a stone when i weighed myself a week after Henry was born - so maybe i've lost more [hopeful emoticon].

ts lots of baby eviction vibes again.

Buckets · 17/08/2008 17:12

Yes, there must be an element of aerobic exercise so baby is thoroughly pissed off.

iliketosleep · 17/08/2008 18:45

I have sore achey hips

I thought I would try the 'bouncy' thing, went and knelt on all fours on my bed and, well, bounced!!!

What a pillock I really am

Still no baby/labour and am going to be walking like a OAP all night

KnockOffNorbert · 17/08/2008 18:55

Well, just cleaned my mirrored wardrobe (which must equal a 100 windows!) but no baby. Will work through some of that list, but noooooo waaaaaaay am I having bouncy boing boing sex, or any other type of sex for that matter! Paranoid I will go into labour, they will want to check me and be greeted with man juice [shudder]

iliketosleep · 17/08/2008 19:00

PMSL

cyteen · 17/08/2008 19:03

Congratulations Sausageandmash!

Greetings to the rest of you too, postnatal and those in the waiting room with me. No full moon action for this girl either, in fact the little bugger seems more comfy than ever wedged in my pelvis

Had a random day out today as suffering from Olympics overload - drove to Skegness as I had a yearning to see the sea. Skeggy's a bit of an eye-opener, eh? Still, the fresh air was delicious and it was overall rather lovely, even if my poor DP did have to drive for most of the day just to mooch about the seafront for an hour.

DP goes back to work tomorrow after a week at home I'll miss him!

KnockOffNorbert · 17/08/2008 19:23

Cor, add ebaying to that list Nappyaddict! I am suprised the stress of bidding on ebay just now didn't send me into labour... been sat watching something for DHs birthday for ages, trying to get all the timing right etc. and won it by just 1p in the end! I put in a bid of £50 more but think I was about 1 second too late with it, but thank god my previous bid won it. Honestly, my heart is still racing!

Praying for all you ladies still waiting that you go into labour v soon.

albs we managed our first trip to church today too. Ds went off to Sunday school on his own and behaved himself. I fed Oliver at the back of the church without any problems. We had to go up to the front of the congregation to introduce Oliver and then our family was prayed for. Very nice and comforting really. Needless to say, O was cuddled to bits by the female half of the congregation!

Where is everyone? Surely not busy looking after new babies? How selfish not to mn at the same time!! (I jest, I can't feed and mn together)

dizzydixies · 17/08/2008 19:58

well done everyone - been away for a few days sorry

inlaws left today - drinks are on me!!!!

sazzles is took Dylan DAYS to get to the chicken korma stage - don't worry about it!

CC stop showing off I once again, haven't been out of the house

I DID however get sleep in 3 hour periods last night fingers crossed for the same tonight!

dizzydixies · 17/08/2008 19:59

How did it go with the inlaws Dizzy?

CaptainCaveman · 17/08/2008 20:08

I agree dizzy. I am still wearing my maternity clothes - so darned comfortable, especially with the cs scar. Tried on some jeans in Next today and very quickly put them back.....Then i caught sight of myself in the mirror -aaarrgggh, scary looking lady looked back at me. She had wild hair, bags under her eyes and generally looked a bloody mess. STill, who's looking?!

CaptainCaveman · 17/08/2008 20:08

Now now sazz I did offer to share my gift with you.....which I haven't received yet btw!!
