Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
FoghornLeghorn · 13/08/2008 14:55

That was what I'd hoped for Atarix hoped I'd get there and be told I was already 5cm without even realising

ataraxis · 13/08/2008 15:04

ah - ok ... sounds like things are progressing pretty well anyway. Hope it moves quickly from here on in!

goodie2shoes · 13/08/2008 15:09

Hi
Congrats to all delivered so far:-)
Lovely names.
Had a sizing scan today and estimated 7lb 9oz and still 2 weeks to go :-(
Have been playing Wii in hope to start of labour, but nothing yet.
My "wii" age is 58 which is quite depressing.(you do some things like tennis, bowling, softball and the machine estimates your age)
Only think to look forward to is dog of Eastenders, Wellard, being interviewed tomorrow on This Morning.Oh Joy.

dancerandprancer · 13/08/2008 16:40

Afternoon all. Have also posted this on the pregnancy topic but thought you guys may be able to shed some light.

TMI warning. Since last night I have noticed a sweet smelling discharge which is a bit mucousy but not excesssively. Did not think it was a show as not a significant amount. Have googled it and all I can find is either diabetes or slow leaking waters.

Any clues anyone?

AnnVan · 13/08/2008 16:47

D&P - Interesting. Unortunately I have no idea, but Im no pregnancy expertmyself.

Hi all - have had my reflexology appointment. It made me feel very sick, and I had to sit there for a while to recover enough to go home. She reckons that my job might have something to do with not sleeping - she says lots of people have trouble sleeping after leaving a high-stress job, because it takes a long time to adjust to a slower pace.We shall see if it helps...

Ooh Congrats to Sarah

dizzydixies · 13/08/2008 16:48

TS message from Sazzles on text - can we have a new thread please as her blackberry can't cope with it now its over 800!!!

dad back from hosp - everything as it should be and pains being put down to stress so thats great news just have to calm him down now

health visitor been and Dylan weight back up to 9lb9oz so relieved she seems to be getting what she needs from my milk supply - she's coming again next week to check up on me as she thinks I've been through an awful lot - I didn't even cry when she was here honest!!!

alittlebitshy · 13/08/2008 16:49

gigglegirl am amused by your gps comments on your scar!!! And sazz on your OCD stitcher upper - fab!!!

I went out ON MY OWN today. Only to someone's house (my kind of counsellor if you remember from back when we were still pg) then on the hgh st to wait for dh for coffee cos am not lifting pram into house yet - easy to get down step but need to haul it up again (any excuse for a vanilla latte).

Last night Henry slept from about 9 til 12 something, fed, then slept a bit more, had 2 more feeds in a row(then i feel awful as when i tried to plug dummy in to convince him he didn't need more milk he was sick - so I'd been alost shoving the sick back in ), then one at 6. then at 8.30 when dh had to getb up (poor dh hadn;t slept when Henry had - random insomnia), 9.20 then he and i went back to sleep til midday!! Still tired but a few snatches of sleep help. Dh going to bed early tonight I think.

Sarah congrats - sounds a good short labour with no induction and a beautiful name!

Cavey I'm getting the guilt too - though while dd is away at my parents I'm worrying about how it will be when she's back - mainly rhe time in the morn when she's awake but we need to sleep. eek.

Anyoe used breast shells to collect milk? bought some - dh just put them in steriliser, and will try (me not dh at some stage - poss at morning feed when am leaky anyhow..... Need to think about expressing at some stage but - yawn - can't think abotu when to fit it into the day.

VG good to hear your positives (And nice to hear your negatives cos I don't feel so freakish for having similar ones lol).

alittlebitshy · 13/08/2008 16:53

ann that sounds like it could be a very sensible theory! Hope the reflexology helps tonight.

dizzy yay for dylan and glad you're being checked up on ((hugs))

Evenin all

Dizzy Pleased your dad has been sorted and you can, at least for now, remove your head from the sand and concentrate a little more on you and your girls ( and DH of course)

Ann sounds like your relexology lady speaks sense!! Hope you feeling better tonight and manage a bit more sleep.

ALBS yay for your outing and hopefully you, Henry and Dh will get a bit more sleep tonight.

oopsacoconut · 13/08/2008 17:17

VG loving your amazing list of positives.

FHLH Hope today's stirring around sets you off.

Sazzles hope DD's meeting with Emma went okay - If I remember correctly DH was going to bring her in today. at my ability to remember things correctly!

All others with babies {{{{HUGS}}}} to you all hoping all is going well and LO's are growing big.

Had MW today for all of 3 minutes as she was running 30 mins late (we were second appointment of the day) She said all fine, but be prepared I 'm not having a 6pounder but unlikely to be 9 either. me:- 'So i'm having an average sized baby, yes?' Her:- 'Well you never can tell by just feeling, she will be as big as she's meant to be' WTF did you make the first stupid comment for then???? DH now confused - last time she was going to be a 'wee' one as I was measuring 3 weeks small, today measureing 3 weeks small and she is average?? He doesn't do average
