Welshie - but it sounds very funny when read back...

welshmum · 14/02/2005 15:35

I've got to stop posting now - everything I write is just rude.

Tessiebear · 14/02/2005 15:39

Well .... Can I complete the MN Football team please?????

welshmum · 14/02/2005 15:41

Hey congrats tessiebear - that's lovely news. It's just getting so exciting....
Did you have a nice sonographer?

teabelly · 14/02/2005 15:44

Oh Tessie your back, glad all went ok...I take it it all went ok? So another boy, hope you're not too disappointed it's not a girl ... still there's always next time - how's the hair do? Does it seem like you're looking at someone else in the mirror?

Tessiebear · 14/02/2005 15:44

I didnt say it wasnt a Womans football team - LOL! Only Joking It is a boy!!!
Had a REALLY nice Sonographer who explained everything!!!! Everything is fine - the only thing is i have a "low lying placenta" so have got to have another scan at 34 weeks to see if it has moved up

ooh how lovely you'll get to see him again before d-day ...in alot of cases the placenta moves up quite happily by the time the next scan comes around.

Tessiebear · 14/02/2005 15:49

Hair is still a bit of a shock - i think i need to change my whole make - up bag - look really pale and feel like i am wearing a wig!!!!!

Teabelly - i dont feel tooo dissapointed as i was expecting it to be a boy tbh

teabelly · 14/02/2005 16:03

Tessie (big cyber hug to you) Do you have a name for him yet?

Lua · 14/02/2005 16:09

Tessie -Congrats on your BOY!!! Nice to hear he is very healthy. Sorry for the due in june curse...

I had a low lying placent in the first pregnancy. It gave me a bit of a headache, but everything ended up fine. I went back at 34 weeks and technician said was still low and I was immediatly changed from my midwife care (yes, I did have a mw in USA!) to the obstetrician, which I was not happy and he started talking about c-section.... After many days teary eyed for my lost natural birth, the doc convinvced me to do another ultrasound and explained the tech wasn't very good... result: was low but not in the way. Had lovely natural birth!

Congratulations on your boy Tessiebear - a little boy gang, sounds like so much fun. Just think, as they grow up, how special it will be to be the only woman in four mens' lives!

Welshmum you made me when I read your DIY post. Very funny.

Uwila · 14/02/2005 16:15

OMG, Tessie. You have to live with four boys/men? Poor you.

teabelly · 14/02/2005 16:15

Curly are you back yet? did you manage to override your dh and find out the sex?? One more boy and we have our 1st 11...Welshie, come on help us out here...do we already have a 1st 11 or are we one short of a girls 5 aside, he he he....weeeelllll you can't blame a girl for trying

mrsflowerpot · 14/02/2005 16:17

Congratulations on your boy Tessiebear - are your other boys pleased? (When we had our scan on Friday the doctor had just had a family with 2 little boys in and the boys were desperate for a sister, so when she told them it was another boy the younger one burst into tears! We had wondered why this child had come out of the room sobbing, poor chap).

tribpot · 14/02/2005 16:47

Congratulations Tessie! Great news, although I hope the July mob are going to be a bit more inundated with girls or there will be no-one for our boys to marry in years to come. (Possibly that is a bit of an exaggeration, but imagine if this is the start of a global trend of 11 boys for every 5 girls )

Welshie .. if only your poor dh knew what you'd been writing about him Most amusing.

berolina · 14/02/2005 16:52

Congratulations on your little lad Tessiebear!

OMG - just been down the bottom of the thread (hadn't before) and seen all your lovely 'come back' and 'cheer up' messages for me. Have to admit I only managed to come back to the thread at all today . Thank you!!!!!

teabelly · 14/02/2005 16:55

Lua - how are your pains this week?? Did you speak to the MW or are you going to wait for your appointment?

teabelly · 14/02/2005 16:59

Berolina, glad you're feeling more able to join us...just think another 2 weeks and you'll officially be in the 3rd trimester...and then it won't be long til you meet your lovely little boy for the first time

teabelly · 14/02/2005 17:01

...well that's it I've scared everyone off with my rude messages ...off home now - hope you all have a great evening, see ya tomorrow x.
