All the corners Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!

Babytwilight is cramping my style!
Biggertwilight is playing with her Daddy-O in the yard.....check out the photo I just took!!!

TwilightSurfer · 27/07/2008 21:28

I think I'm feeling the effects of that Oxy-Whatever-Hormone. Just kinda laughing my way through the day.

oopsacoconut · 27/07/2008 21:31

TS that is too adorable - couldn't you splash out and buy DH a bigger pool so DD doesn't cramp his style?? just looked at your first scan piccie - it was done on the day I got my BFP. And that concludes todays useless bit of info!

Oh Sazzles I do hope mine falls into bed the same way!!!

Oops that's cool info. I didn't bother with posting the 8 million pics of all the positive pee sticks that came prior to that scan...that scan was actually #2...#1 didn't show anything (DUH as it' was only 4 weeks + something).

FoghornLeghorn · 27/07/2008 21:41

I've just sat in the garden, in my towel (fresh from the bath) with my feet up on my birth ball, in the rain. I must've looked ridiculous but it was like a little piece of heaven

TwilightSurfer · 27/07/2008 21:46

Good for you Foghorn.

ChaCha · 27/07/2008 21:46

Also LOL at all the 'corners' is a must to fit into next thread title ladies!

DC are finally asleep! That seemed to take forever. Now i suddenly feel that i can start the day (at 9.45pm!) DC asleep, certainly cooler, can think/focus, tidy up and make a few calls.

I am so grumpy it's unbelievable, must go and wind down. Someone hurry up and have a baby please....

And who is going to start a post-natal thread then? Will need permanent 'whatever the day' corner next week to chatter - says mother of 3 under 3 who will probably never see laptop again

ChaCha · 27/07/2008 21:48

Oh Foghorn Blissssss!!!
My mum who is an hour away said it's raining there too. Wonder if we will get some. Garden is full of toys and parasol up and blah blah blah.......best go see.

TS - forgot to say your pics are lovely, i always forget to look at people's profiles.

Fl = that sounds Lovely. Am sweltering in central london and a wee bit jealous of you!

Just have to blow my own trumpet - have worked like a dog today to get tidying, filing, clearing, etc. And, although no-one would ever know it, and the place still looks like a bomb has hit it, I still feel quite proud of myself and rather fab DH who has, gulp, put the cot up.

So, fingers crossed and all things being equal (I've had a bumpy ride hence the fear factor), we'll be in the 'Bloomin' Heck, we seem to have got ourselves a baby!' corner, so we'd better pull our fingers out, accept the inevitable, and get out the name book!

TS, hope she thinks about giving you a break soon!

TwilightSurfer · 27/07/2008 21:52

ChaCha have a glass of spirits and relax. 9:45pm is an excellent time to start the day. Does anyone remember a time with the fun didn't start until after 10pm anyway. OH THE MEMORIES.............

TwilightSurfer · 27/07/2008 21:53

Pineapple {{twiligh scurries off to google pineapple and evicting term babies}}}

TwilightSurfer · 27/07/2008 21:56

Only found old wives tales nothing concrete. Would have sent DH out to get some otherwise. Sazzles keep us posted!!

TwilightSurfer · 27/07/2008 21:58

Night night all - am going to bed wth my big glass of ice and will be back in the morning (ooh how weird is that no work??)

TS our midwife swears by the pineapple thing and papaya too - they apparently contain a cervix ripening enzyme called bromelin - I don't know if it works but i'll give anything a go once!

DH just told me that my ice crunching may not be as amazing as i thought - ice melts into water, water makes you pee - like i need any help on that front!!!! Bother and I was in heaven eating it toooo.

TwilightSurfer · 27/07/2008 22:11

Evening all

PG1 agree with Sazzles re the bras, once baby starts to engage your bra size will chance 'cause your rib cage is getting smaller (glad something is )

TS Fab news about baby being fully engaged & facing the right way - I am most jealous re a sweep some healthcare professionals will do them prior to term, I had one with DD at 39+4 but you might not get one much earlier then that. Hope baby doesn't keep you waiting to much longer

ChaCha Bless you, I have to say I actually felt quite well dressed lol!

Cyteen Bless getting to have cuddles with newborns, you forget how teeny they are don't you!!

Poppy Hope DD didn't through anymore tantrums!

PF Sounds like a lovely afternoon

Oops Ooooo sounds like a scrummy lunch!!!!

CC sorry to hear your uric acid levels are still up Fingers crossed it comes down & you can soon go home!!

Sazzles Lol at pouring water over bump shapes - I do that too

Huge hello to anyone I've missed!!

Well I completely broke down at MW appt - all is well with E, he's still head down, 3/5ths IN (which he has been for weeks) so he's in the right posotion, MW said he might just stay at 3/5ths as 2nd+ babies sometimes don't fully engage til labour, BP & urine fine, E's HR fine etc.

I said about the pressure/back aches/BHs/contractions stopping & starting etc.

Anyway said about sweep - she has booked me in for the 11th Thats a fortnight away!!

I am gutted beyond belief, I broke down in tears & said how low I am feeling & how I just can't cope with the agony from my SPD anymore, she was very sweet & said I could have a lay down for a while in the cool air con room if I wanted but MIL had DD so had to get back for her.

Have to say I am feeling really low this evening, I feel like E is never going to come out & the 11th feels like an utter lifetime away

Still doing usual bouncing on ball, walking (well waddling) jumping DH etc but I have spent most of the afternoon in tears

Sorry for the whinge

Xx

gigglegirl · 27/07/2008 22:17

came on with the intention of reading all todays posts but I just can't get through them!

DH has been decorating all day today ready for carpet being ffitted.

Am getting marginally more organised for FRIDAY!!! still no bag packed and still not at home but have ordered big knicks, got homeopathic stuff, ordered bras and pjs, ordered changing bag, ordered lovely bamboo ypga nct breastfeeding top, started sorting out my ipod and booked a hair appointment for thursday eve.

Still in denial and trying not to be anxious. the fact that i have to go in for steroids on weds and thurs doesn't help either!

ChaCha · 27/07/2008 22:17

Buckets i'm sure would know more about the pineapple theory too. Speaking of Buckets - where are you?! Hope all is ok.

Garden now tidy, DH is still where he was an hour ago thanks to plumber friend who can talk for England...and he talks about me!

TS - So true! I nodded my head and took a little trip down memory lane. The night would only have been beginning at 10pm even after a long and hard day at work...don't know how i ever did it though!

I keep thinking something is crawling on my leg, so i look down - nothing. And again, and again, Nothing! Get paranoid, switch the dimmer, look again, nothing!! Is this one of those pregnancy things that i'd forgotten about...crawling sensations!!!!! Geeeeesh!

Can't believe am still sat at laptop...but is good to relax in anyway.

ChaCha · 27/07/2008 22:21

Mrs Mag - when is your actual due date?
