TS do you alternate the ankles I take it when applying the pressure??

Also - please forgive my utter stupidity - re the thumb pressure one, you know it says to apply pressure to the centre of the thumb? Well I've been applying pressure to the centre of the pad - DYKWIM? Should I be applying to dead centre of the thumb - as in under the bend in the middle??

Yes you'd alternate ankles UNLESS you have a lovely person who can do them at the same time for you.

Thumb pad/mound (in the middle of the top portion)...i'm only assuming on this one.

OH and for headache sufferers....pressure to the spongy section in between thumb and pointer finger....hold till head eases. {This works for me about 80% of the time...depends of cause of headache}

Mrs It is because you know when your baby is coming out and are therefore lucky - according to TS!

Just got back from clinic - got an unexpected scan which was a bonus!! 'Jerry' is now 6lb 11oz. My bp is still high (for me) so doc wants mw to check it twice weekly, especially given the size of my feet/ankles/legs (which are approx twice the size of yesterday!). Doc said cs date could always be bought forward if swelling and bp don't go down - eh?!!! I wasn't expecting that!!

Just to say (for anyone else deciding) they don't normally allow a VBAC to be induced anyway, it increases the risk of intervention which increases the risk of uterine rupture (although that's still pretty rare).

Just won a travel grobag (used) on Ebay for under a tenner inc p&p, am very chuffed (although will probably only use it a few months as it is 2.5tog.) Stupidly, I sold our old travel grobags thinking I didn't want any more kids after DS! They are fab for schoolruns and late nights home as the baby can be strapped in whilst all snuggly.
