Absolutely desperate for a hot Thai curry - DH working, can't be doing with taking the DSs out and no-one delivers to us... . TS, any of those burritos left instead?

So, my 'takes all day' spring clean.... sadly optimistic. I have managed 3 rooms, and that really did take all day (but clean like never before though). Looks like this is going to be an ongoing project - and can't even blame it on nesting, just not wanting to live in a complete shithole mess any longer. But sazzles, that coffee was gorgeous!

Well bigbig you jinxed me today as my inlaws turned up unannounced!!!!!!!!!!!! i did exactly what i said to do and hid in the kitchen but unfortunatley mil sought me out!!!!

DD been a she devil all day and dh been at cricket so i am exhausted.. dh asked if he could go out again tonight cabin fever me thinks...

I have been having a constant period pain for the last hour too... anyone else getting this????xxxx

Thank you for your messages - re dreaded inl's, hopefully they will gone before they have time to make any vile comments/suggestions on how to live our lives, unfortunatley they always make time for that

Seems like everyone is getting excited with near baby snuggling time. I keep wondering how things will start this time, with ds my waters broke with just a trickle and had gentle contractions to start with, don't know if you are likely to have the same with dc2?

albs.. yes i let him out cos i am a sucker!! mil in law was all over my tummy touching it as if it was her god given right arghhhh hate that, so all in all have not had the best day... have u taken anything for your pain.. mine is really quite sore, reminds me of being at school with period pains and that was a long long time ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!xxx

Sorry Sarah won't mention inls again but might need to tommoz after they've been, is it ok if you're told in advance to de-jinks?

Sarah have you tried a nice soak in the bath with some clary sage oil, might ease your aches and pains and help you feel more comfortable. Could it be early labour do you think?

urgh at mil touching your tummy sarah. My mil is a bit clueless - you'd think having had 2 ds's she'd know about pregnancy but nope. She seems to think it's a problem that my baby is kicking - and saying "poor ALBS" about it and looking very confued when I tell her that all babies do it..... In my b'day card she said she hoped baby would not kick on my birthday. er - no, i didn't want to be up the hospital having felt no movement thanks.

Bigboy.. don't think its early labour cos i thought the pain came and went not constant??? hopefully just been doing too much today and haven't eaten much so will try and eat something now and maybe take you up on the idea of a nice soak!!!xxx

Sorry sarah didn't realise pain was constant, it does sound like you need a rest, just got a bit excited then thinking it was early labour!

Dh cooking fish pie tonight, so hungry might have to have some more fruit and nut choc while i wait

Sarah {{hugs}} period type pains can be an early sign but could also be from dropping or stomach upset.

sarah you could try a hot water bottle too, over your lower abdomen - might ease the pain a little?

Snap ts with the throat on fire heartburn - yeuch, I've never had it this bad. Swigging the gaviscon like it's water for blessed temporary relief.

Well we have all been playing bowling on the Wii, and ds even beat dh . ho ho ho, dh was trying his best to win (he is competitive dad!). Ds did a victory dance whilst singing "ha ha daddy, you losed". . I do believe dh is down there now playing golf....

evening all - my you ahve been busy typing today! DH finally got out of be at midday and we went for lunch, after which I felt like I was the one with the hangover - not quite sure why! Had a great afternoon (??) buying the tiles for our bathroom and choosing paint in homebase, cam home had a lie down and felt terrible. Have been worried I might be in early labour although didn't say anything and think it has passed. Def have uti though - was +3 leukocytes on thursday so they have sent ot off and I await a phone call to say I have to go on antibiotics but all the symptoms there now to add to my joy. Daren't mention to anyone as feel like such a whinger and the birthday party is tomorrow!

Must get round to finishing internet shop for exciting baby things and also try and get back in my house to actually pack bag for hospital!

Sarah one other thought about the pain...if you are the least bit constipated and the baby is dropping, pressure of the baby on the bowels can cause pain. Just a thought that might be less worrisome.

Captain milk and cookies....that's what gave me a little relief from the FLAMES.

good lord - this talk of heartburn. mine is particularly bad tonight so I've got up, having been in bed hours (reading, but when dh got home i stopped cos he needs to be up at 6.15 tomorrow for early service). tried to sleep but can't. Waah. Am here with some milk fo a bit. also restless legs...
