home from work now - supposed to be at ballet with DD and DS2 but RL friends have stepped in so have instead booked boys on sports class for september and enquired about baby swimming lessons as well as checking the time for my weight watchers class that I will be going back to 6 weeks after the birth (must scoff as much as I can before the!) I may not be organised for the abby or the arival but I have my schedule sorted for next term!

It's brilliant, isn't it? I love that they take the biscuits so seriously. On Penguins (sorry for long quote):

Now there are many people to whom it has occured that the Penguin is nothing more than a chocolate covered bourbon biscuit. Its not. The texture of the biscuits is altogether different being crisper and less dense. The chocolate cream filling is also much paler. The covering of milk chocolate is quite thin and yet registers as the main ingredient in the Penguin. In the Pengiun we see once again a biscuit that must be enjoyed as a whole, as analysis of its components does not convey its charm.

In recent years we've seen Mint and Orange Penguins, and Penguin cake bars. The flavoured ones aren't too bad, but the cake thing is all a bit degrading really. Now McVities are making some kind of dipping version of the Penguin called a flipper or something. Leave it out McVities, this is like getting your Granny up to dance to the latest choons at a wedding disco, its no way to treat your elders.

Have just spent a few moments enjoying a simple pleasure. Amazing what a little sitz bath can do for your undercarriage when baby's sooooo llllooooowwww. REALITY MID-RELAX...Wouldn't you know DD would have to poop just as I was getting all comfy. Serves me right for not have second bath finished yet.

Glad all well at the clinic DD - was that the famous (I thought mythical) Prof that you got to see in the flesh???

Not quite the last bit of work here as have tomorrow and Thurs am. Having said that will miss most of tomorrow am as have hospital appointment to get c-section date. SO excited! Combo of that and finishing work a bit today (handover done!) and completely on Thurs will make it all seem so much more real. Oh no, that's actually rather scary... Any biscuits left...?
