OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Oblomov · 03/07/2008 16:20

Re booze at christmas. A glass of wine is not going to hurt, when I am BF, over Christmas lunch.
A glass of wine never hurt anyone. Mum or baby.
Also I had a glass last week. It was very very dry. God it was good.

Oblomov · 03/07/2008 16:22

Plus, talking of good things.
Dh and I ....
god it was good - I was complaining the other week that I thought he thought he was going to hurt baby.
Is it just me typing ?
Shall I shut the f**k up ?

Oblomov · 03/07/2008 16:27

No, I am not currently, "hick", pissed as I type.
No seriously, I am just saying that I had a ONE glass of wine last week, that is all.

Oblomov · 03/07/2008 16:29

DOZY, yes I have been MN all day. And watching sky. But also the house is spotless, all washing and ironing done. Plants and hanging baskets watered. Dinner made. Home made Coffee sponge baked.
My dh likes it when I don't work

Yorky · 03/07/2008 16:33

Can't believe we're on page two of new thread and I've only just found it!
I found DS was sickier when I BF after a glass, but try and space feeds and drinks and its not too bad.
for Ob re losing her car, doesn't matter how much sense it makes - lie on the floor and kick your heels a bit, screaming "I don't want to" DS says it makes him feel better.
Agree with whoever said not to pay for hynotherapy course - the CD is nice for relaxing/falling asleep to, but I couldn't say I've hynobirthed. I did spend the afternoon before DS was born, after my waters had gone a little bit, with DHs grandma who is a hynotherapist which mat well have helped make the latent phase easier.
I did put on the other thread that I have the pregnancy relaxation CD and a birth preparation one which I am happy to duplicate for those with no moral qualms.

bubbaz · 03/07/2008 16:33

Wow Oblomov you are very entitled to be mnetting. I'm sat here my house is a tip everything needs dusted and hoovered the washing needs hung out and has done for 3 hours and DS appears to need ALL of his toys at the same time and I'm still sat on my *rse! I only work 16 hours so really have no excuse you deserve a medal gal don't tell my DH he will trade me in

dyerlou · 03/07/2008 16:35

Hi all am very excited have just had my 20 wk scan and everythings looking greatsmileAlso found out am expecting a boy DS is very pleased. Whats this about drinking whilst breastfeeding always thought that was a big no no?

bubbaz · 03/07/2008 16:35

Oh I don't ireon either - Ever!!
Will you get another car Obs or is it a permanent sale?

bubbaz · 03/07/2008 16:37

Sorry I don't IRON - I also can't spell!
Congrats dyerlou another boy am so at all these flavours

misdee · 03/07/2008 16:37

we have a new car. its invisable to other road users. either that or someone has hired hitmen on me to kill me.

misdee · 03/07/2008 16:38

i want to know what my bump is now [stamps feet!]

Oblomov · 03/07/2008 16:38

Yorky, I might try that. I haven't had a tantrum in ages
Thanks Bubbaz. But this is a one off. Most of the time, I have to have a mad hour, doing the breakfast dishes, the lunch dishes and a quick whizz round the whole house, becasue it looks like a bomb has hit it.
I normally leave it till the last minute and then have a mad panic at 4pm. Dh gets home just after 5. That is why you never see me MN at 4pm.
Beleive me, today was a one off

Oblomov · 03/07/2008 16:40

Dyerlou congratulations.

No I am not advocating drinking whilst BF. I am just saying that one glass of wine, with your christmas lunch, IN MY OPINION, and it is just mine, will not hurt.

Oblomov · 03/07/2008 16:42

Misdee where is your bump then ?
Is it hiding under one of your ample breasts ?

misdee · 03/07/2008 16:43

dylerlou, fabby news on your boy.

so have we got an updated stats list?

my scan is on monday, i am going to find out, if dh doesnt want to find out i will ask her to write it down for me.

misdee · 03/07/2008 16:43

yes bump is hiding under my ample bosom.

dyerlou · 03/07/2008 16:46

Have been trying really hard to htink of boys names that my DH likes! We both like Cai but people keep telling us that spelt Kye it means dog in cornish! am so upset would any of you go ahead and still use it especially as we are cornish?

misdee · 03/07/2008 16:48

i thought it was spelt Kai.

tbh its a bit comman round here, there is a few Kai's in my dd's school.

lackaDAISYcal · 03/07/2008 16:49

Love the title sparkletoes

i have just got back from the opening ceremony of our new local children's centre which is in DSs school, and have henna tatoos all over my hands.

Creena has disappeared as well, but I think she was maybe having computer problems...or was that Heartmum? Was someone moving house and being off the grid for a bit as well?

lolling at the hypnobirthing. someone on my june 07 thread had been listening to one as she fell asleep one night. When she got up to pee in the night, her husband was muttering in his sleep "my cervix is opening like a flower"

Oblomov · 03/07/2008 16:49

Misdee, what do you mean IF dh doesn't ?
Surely with your lovely 3 girls he is desperate to know ?
Or is that just me ?

Oblomov · 03/07/2008 16:50

LOL Daisy

lackaDAISYcal · 03/07/2008 16:52

the translation of my DSs name is "crooked nose"...and he has the cutest button nose ever seen on a little boy!

we are very undecided about names........we have lots of ideas but our surname is quite popular and there are loads of cslebs etc so it kind of puts us off. For those of you who know me on facebook, everyone keeps joking we should call the baby Michael as he will be the 5th member of our family . I think if I hear that particualr joke once more I'm going to scream!

misdee · 03/07/2008 16:52

you would think so ob, but he said last week he didnt want to find out. so i told him that when i give birth, he can go into the loft and sort through the ten boxes of girls clothes from newborn to age 2, find the newborn and 0-3months stuff and wash iron and sell, or wash iron and put away. so i think he may want to know now. because he doesnt ever go into the loft lol.
