Moomin · 28/02/2005 19:01

that's sad news, hushh, very sorry to hear that. better luck next time XXX

RudyDudy · 28/02/2005 19:01

hope everyone is doing okay. haven't been on much lately as have been feeling so wretched and finding it all a bit difficult to deal with. Also felt a bit repetitive always writing "feeling sick and tired"!! Am practically counting the days 'til week 13...

Haven't had porno dreams JJ but have been having very strange and vivid ones. Really bad last week was when I dreamt our nanny was stealing from us and tried to abduct DS - could hardly look her in the eye the next day! Much nicer was the next night when I dreamt I could fly

Best of luck with the scan tomorrow Miranda.

Lexie100 · 28/02/2005 19:06

Hushh, i really am so very sorry.

Moomin · 28/02/2005 19:07

just been re-reading best friends' guide to pg, and she mentions the porno dreams that lots of pg women have! i haven't so far - can't think of anything vaguely sexual at the moment. feeling very nause but it's not too bad if i keep eating. i'm only 6 weeks on weds but already don't need my belt on my jeans anymore
early scan booked for next tues and 1st midwife appt for the tues after that. told my gp on friday and he was chuffed to nuts for me and dh - bless him, he's such a sweetie.
dd(3) asked me if i had a baby in my tummy the other day - she's obviously picked it up from us talking. i said we'll see... she's wet herself 3 times since then; obviously a bit anxious about it, so we're trying to play it down and give her lots of reassurance, poor little thing

Lexie100 · 28/02/2005 19:10

Had a much better day today feel almost human with a little side sickness. Yep my tummy has grown too. i can hardly do my buttons up . I hope it's a quick transaction from looking fat to pregnant. Lucky it is cold and we can all wear baggy jumpers.

chitchat · 28/02/2005 19:17

Hi ya
I am new. Just thought I'd say hi and the usual...I am feeling sick and just a wee bit tired. How are you all?

morningpaper · 28/02/2005 19:19

I am also looking frightening FAT and can't do up my trousers.

DD sat down really HARD on my abdomen today and I kind of felt my uterus BANG. I shouted at her and she burst into tears and I felt bad. Bit worried about it actually but seem ok.

Oh no hushh sending you big hugs you have a very positive outlook! Do pop back in....and try to enjoy the trying again!

I'm definately bumpy....only about 7 weeks and can't wear anything that isn't elasticated! Oh morningpaper - I sneezed in a really odd position and felt my uterus 'bang' as well but I seem ok... DS has bounced on it like a trampoline too

morningpaper · 28/02/2005 19:41

DH said "Don't worry it's well padded." Hmm!

I guess every mother with a toddler must get pounded to bits - I'm sure I'll get used to it!!!

SusiS · 28/02/2005 19:57

yep, my ds does the same to me! he loves jumping!!!!
i realised i can't pick him up that easily anymore; i have to do it in a certain way and slower than usual
the sickness is getting much better but still very very tired!!!!!

and welcome chichat; when are you due and where are you from?

chitchat · 28/02/2005 20:01

I am due Oct 16th, if my calculations are right and from Yorkshire.

cori · 28/02/2005 20:07

Hello,
Havent been around for a while as there was nothing new to report. Symptoms remain exactly the same as last time. I have feeling on Nausea most of the time now, but its not too bad and can still eat. I only want to eat very simple foods and have gone off vegetables ( the thought of having to cook the cauliflower, or leeks in the fridge is too horrible to contemplate). I am feeling lot more tired, DS was kind enough to let me nap on the Sofa this afternoon for an hour whilst he was watching Ceebeebies (bless)

Kiwifruit · 28/02/2005 20:35

Oohh, know what you mean about veges Cori - have gone right off salad, just the thought of it makes my stomach turn, and I usually have salad with every evening meal . Just had stir fry for dinner though, and seemed to cope with that OK. Am very happily substituting salad for chocolate which I didn't really eat before I got pg. All very strange.

And just when I thought I'd got rid of the nausea, it's come back with a vengeance - not happy!! At least I'm not vomiting though - I guess that's something...

montaguemonkey · 28/02/2005 20:54

So sorry hushh, hope you keep us up to date with er sex life!

Although no sex in dream last night was really really romantic and had me smiling all day (unfortunately man involved was work colleague and not dh! Oh well).

I think I have forgotten what sex is anyway! Lets say we were very lucky to get preggers and I can completely pin point when that egg was fertilised!!

I am due 17 October by the way chitchat (and welcome), is this your first?

MM

alterego · 28/02/2005 21:24

So sorry to hear your news hushhh - and hope you enjoy the practising (but not too much of it).

No scan date yet - half of me wants to chase them up and the other half wants to put my head in the sand.

Vivid dream last night - very sexy - but have forgotten it entirely now

Elf1981 · 28/02/2005 22:11

Sorry to hear your news hush.

Joseyjo, ref dreams - not that I remember, but maybe I am. My DH told me the other day that I seem to be "moaning" a lot in my sleep. He did ask whether I was dreaming of another fella. Hmmm. Wonder if they will get more vivid as times goes by?! Will have to reassure DH that it isn't just me having dodgy dreams!

Tommy · 28/02/2005 22:33

I had all sorts of racey dreams when I was pg with DSs (usually involving every unsuitable people!) - I'm looking forward to those again

Moomin · 28/02/2005 22:43

oh lordy. just tried on a new skirt with the top i'm wearing to work tomorrow and my arms can hardly fit in the sleeves and my boobs are spilling out everywhere. at least the new skirt fits ok! i can't wear this top - it's obscene! and i'm teaching adolescent boys first thing tomorrow. it's so unfair - everyone will just be thinking - 'ah, she's up to her old tricks after losing weight earlier this year', and they'll just think i'm an old bloater again.

morningpaper · 01/03/2005 08:40

lol Moomin! I tried on my favourite jumper and THE ARMS WERE TIGHT. Can't blame that on the growing pregnancy - that's just plain LARDY dammit!

OP posts:
SusiS · 01/03/2005 09:43

i had one of them sexy dreams too - but i think it was with dp at least

SusiS · 01/03/2005 10:01

week 9:

the average embryo is .9 - 1.2 inches long at this point. This week, you could now see your baby's external ears. Feet and hands are continuing to form and the fingers and toes are starting to be visible. Baby is now moving about, although you probably won't feel this movement until about your 16th week.

Fastasleep · 01/03/2005 13:12

It's not fair! You guys get sexy dreams....I was baking in my sleep! Lol

Fastasleep · 01/03/2005 13:37

Hmm I'm beginning to be a silly worrier...been getting little stabbing pains on and off... it's probably just the bean settling in and everything or like JessicasMummy lol that I need a big poo!...Been a bit of a stresshead lately..must rellllaaaaax ...hope you're all getting some rest!

Fastasleep · 01/03/2005 13:39

Oooh I think it was the big poo option after all pmsl how silly

morningpaper · 01/03/2005 13:52

Heheheh big poos, Lordy don't talk about them! Took me about two hours to squeeze one out this morning!
