This is my will be my second. DS is 3.

If you have any Questions fire away.

marinda · 02/02/2005 23:12

Hi Cori, my DS is 3 also. I have had few symptoms- just a bit of nausea and cramps. Thought I had more symptoms first time around - but could be wrong. How is it for you compared to first time ? Or do you think it is too early to tell ?

cori · 03/02/2005 11:04

I have had a few symptoms too but they seem to have faded now. I have very slight nausea at times. I cant remember the symptoms going away so quickly, but its only been a week.
I have been to GP this morning ( woke up with a scary experience-coughing up blood. Am OK) and have been booked in.

joseyjo · 03/02/2005 12:53

cori · 03/02/2005 14:22

Hello Joseyjo, and Congratulations.
I am so sorry to hear about your last little one. What happended? if you dont mind me asking.

My symptoms seem to have 'disappeared' too. Apart from ild Nausea, cant remember this happening before, its still early days.

Lexie100 · 03/02/2005 14:58

Joseyjo - fingres, toes and everything else are crossed for you, take care.

My boobs have got a little bigger but no other symptoms to report.

I'm going on a hen weekend on the 20th Feb. I don't want to tell then all yet, too early, any suggestions as to why i won't be drinking and possibly throwing up??

cori · 03/02/2005 15:03

Tell them your taking antibiotics.

Lexie100 · 03/02/2005 15:14

Thanks Cori. Should have thought of that, can i blame the hormones yet for memory problems!

cori · 03/02/2005 15:22

I certainly hope so. I have been forgetting lots of silly things, I thought it was too early for this to have started already.

marinda · 03/02/2005 18:24

Odd isn't it- lack of symptoma - it is soooo early though. Apparently most common age for miscarriage is 6-8 weeks so most of us have to get though this yet- this is what really scares me. First pg - I was the same. There were so many miscarriages on August thread it was frightening. Anyway - better to be positive. Still have yet to go to GP but will book next week i Think ! What are the rest of you doing ?

marinda · 03/02/2005 18:26

Odd isn't it - lack of symptoms ! I feel worried aroung miscarriage risk as between 6 and 8 weeks is most dangerous ! There were so many miscarriages on August thread. Have not been to GP yet - I'm in no hurry but will go soon. What have the rest of you done ?

cori · 03/02/2005 20:53

I went to GP this morning. ( had to go for something else) so have been 'booked in already'

I had a miscarriage before I fell pregnant with DS, so only to aware that it can happen. The thing is there is nothing you can really do to prevent it from happening anyway, and so try not to worry.

northstar · 03/02/2005 20:59

Im peeping from the due in may thread CONGRATULATIONS to you all
Morningpaper - lol at you trying to get your dd to accept the idea of a new addition, my ds will be 3 two wks before my due date and he is convinced we are getting a puppy!!

marinda · 03/02/2005 21:19

Looks like I posted twice ladies. OOOHHH DEAR....

Lexie100 · 04/02/2005 08:30

Need your advice before i call the doctor.

I had bad cramps last night and very little spotting. No more spotting this am but still have period pain type cramps. I'm 4.5 weeks.

Any suggestions???

joseyjo · 04/02/2005 11:10

Lexi100 & Cori,

Hello, i amback briefly.have to apologise again for uselessspace bar.....
Cori - my first was born at 33 weeks and died three days later. he had a chromosome disorder called triploidy.it is not supposedtobe hereditary so shouldnät happen again. we have fingers and toesetc crossed too!! am looking at lots of early testing and probably amnio with this one. quite worried, but am going to gotothe doctor on wed to sort out my referral to the specialist fromlast time.

CLexi100- i had cramps and spotting with my first twice. oncea at 4 to 4.5 weeks and again at 9 weeks. about when my period was due. first time all was fine, second time had early scan and all was fine, no reason given. all the same iwould callthemidwife/doctor as even if they justt ell you not to worry then you will feelbetter!!

only have 6minutes of internet left so probably talk to you alltomorrow.

cori · 04/02/2005 22:11

Hi Josey Jo , I hope all goes well this time. It must be a worry for you, at least its not hereditary condition though. Good Luck.

Lexie, how are you feeling now? I have never had that experience, dont know what to suggest. Did you see the GP?
How many weeks are you?

Lexie100 · 05/02/2005 12:36

Phoned NHS direct who said go to the GP. GP sent me straight to the hospital for a scan. I'm too early to scan so did internal. They couldn't see much as only 4 weeks. Had to have blood test and then repeat in 24 hours (to check HGC levels). They think it might be ectopic but not sure so taking precautions.

Cramps seem to have gone today and HGC levels are ok. So fingers crossed blood test tomorrow will be fine too. Should hear results on monday. Will keep you posted.

cori · 05/02/2005 12:49

ooh, that must be scary for you. Are you still in pain? Are you still spotting? What colour is the blood? I have that if the blood is brownish in colour that can be a sign of an Etopic pregnancy.
Wishing you all the best

geogteach · 05/02/2005 13:04

Congrats to all you due in October 2005, I had DS2 October 2004. Part of my reason for butting in is in case anyone needs materity clothes, they wii be the right season! See my for sale thread. OK cheeky ad over!

joseyjo · 05/02/2005 16:43

Lexie100,

sorry to hear you are being poked and prodded, but at least they are taking your worries seriously. do let us know what happens on monday - best wishes and try not to worry.....

Lexie100 · 07/02/2005 15:53

Hi all, Got my results back and my HGC levels are up by 100% so they don't think it is ectopic. I have a cyst wich could explain the pain. I have to have another scan on Thursday just to check everything is clear. So back to being pregnant mum to be.

Anyone know anything about cysts?

footstep · 07/02/2005 15:59

Hi Lexie

That's great news!

Don't know anything about cysts, I'm afraid. Sorry to hear you're still in pain

Hope the scan on thursday goes OK.

How are you feeling? Many symptoms yet?

footstep

x

YOKEFLEET · 07/02/2005 16:46
