[green as a pea emoticon] I feel dreadful. Much worse than my first pregnancy. I couldn't cook last night because I felt sick so dh decided to cook hotdogs with onions. The whole house still stinks of onion. I kept waking up in the night with this awful smell in my nose. Dh and ds stink of them as well, I don't think I will ever eat another hotdog as long as I live.

Hi there alterego, wishing you very good luck with your pregnancy.

Susies I am glad you are feeling better, it gives me hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel. I am a couple of weeks behind you.

Fastasleep · 27/02/2005 11:07

Awww triceratops maybe its a different sex? I'm hoping that this time because with DS I felt really really bad and this time I'm feeling ok!...I'm sure it'll wear off in a few weeks although the few weeks will feel never-ending !

Woodelf · 27/02/2005 16:56

JoseyJo and Kiwifruit,

Thanks for advice re scans. Have been feeling rather sicker lately so not so worried the pg will fail!

My local hospital, the Mayday in Croydon apparently does nuchal scans on the NHS so i won't have to pay for that one. Just a case of getting the appt!

SusiS · 27/02/2005 17:39

tired tired tired! will that ever stop?
nauseause feeling is getting better though!!
but found out i can't eat much at once - have to eat every now and then! get this stuffed feeling all the time

hushh · 27/02/2005 17:44

Can I ask for lots of positive vibes & babydust for tomorrow mornings scan please. I've got my head round the fact that it may be bad news, but I haven't given up just yet. At least I'll know whats what - one way or another. Fingers crossed & I'll let you know.

SusiS · 27/02/2005 20:04

Fastasleep · 27/02/2005 20:34

Twiga · 27/02/2005 21:07

Hi, hope no-one minds me crashing this thread but just wanted to say Alterego just read your news on the ttc after mc thread and am really chuffed at your great news!

All the best to everyone else on here !

Lexie100 · 28/02/2005 09:36

Hushh - sending lota and lots of good luck vibes and fairy dust as DH calls it. I really hope everything goes well.

ButtonMoon · 28/02/2005 11:37

I'm a bit miffed.....just been to my friends (who I told in confidence about pg and asked her not to tell anyone else) for coffee and another friend of hers was there who congratulated me on my pregnancy!!! I'm quite upset that lots of people will know soon!! I wanted to wait til after my scan...just to make sure evrything was ok before spreading the news. Want to cry!!

montaguemonkey · 28/02/2005 12:34

Hello there everyone,

Thinking of you today hushh, hope everything is okay.

So pleased to hear that a lot of other people are incredibly tired, I don't remember this with my first one, but just having a young child exhausts you anyway, having to go to be earlier and earlier, will soon be going down with dd at 7pm!

Any news on scan alterego?

MM

SusiS · 28/02/2005 12:39

well moon! never nice when someone can't keep a secret! but on the other hand it's not going to change anything - at least you can share it with someone!!!

Tommy · 28/02/2005 12:42

sorry to hear that buttonmoon - the other "friend" should have pretended she didn't know! still haven' told anyone (well hardly )

Joseyjo · 28/02/2005 13:54

buttonmoon - i know exactly how you feel... last time my mw left my details on her desk while she saw my friend (who was about 12 weeks ahead of me). i was not impressed and chucked up a stink about patient confidentiality etc. got a letter of appology and everything. fortunately my friend was too self-absorbed (not a criticism!!!) to notice any funny business and believed my fib. she laughed her head off when i told her officially 6 weeks later!
i am keeping shtum this time - our parents know, but no-one else, apart from you lot of course!!! think i would go mad if i couldn't share with someone.... which reminds me...

Joseyjo · 28/02/2005 13:56

i had the MOST graphic dream last night. i woke up quite disturbed until i saw the funny side and then giggled lots!
I dreamed that I had sex in a public toilet with an ex-boyfriend!!!!!!!!!! i NEVER have dreams like that and certainly not with that many details . i didn't get these dreams last time and they are really messing with my head. why can't my subconscious want sex with dh not random work colleagues and ex boyfriends that i have not spoken to in years.
please tell me i am not the only one suffering with porn dreams !!

Kiwifruit · 28/02/2005 16:52

Think I'm missing out - my dreams aren't nearly as exciting

morningpaper · 28/02/2005 17:01

Any word from Hushh?

My dreams are also v. indecent at the moment.

Have scan tomorrow and boking appointment- scared stiff.
Also have belly like monk and ppeople are noticing - someone actually asked me if I WAS pgg - am only 9 weeks and trying to keep it under wraps !! Anyone else with bulging tummy ?

hushh · 28/02/2005 17:46

Hi all. Not good news, its as I thought & scan confirmed a miscarriage. I was only 6-7 weeks and I'm OK about it though (well as OK as you can be) & can console myself with the fact that it was our first attempt at trying to get pg & we'll just have to get some more practice in
So good luck to all I may just keep lurking on here to see how you all get on & hopefully will be joining another 'Due In' club before too long.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Kiwifruit · 28/02/2005 17:51

Oh Hushh, I'm so sorry to hear that .

Take care, and please come back and let us know when your practicing is successful (and enjoy the practicing
