littleboyblue · 26/06/2008 16:26

Thanx biscuity, I'm crying now. That is exactly how I feel. DS will be 18m when #2 is born and a part of me is now thinking what have I done? I can't imagine loving anyone as much as I love ds, but I'm sure it'll be fine

Neeerly3 · 26/06/2008 16:27

i have been sick for the first time today girls! now bricking it that because i feel worse than i did with the boys it must be triplets

McDreamy · 26/06/2008 16:32

I normally suffer from indegestion just after my MS subsides at 12-13 weeks but I have got it already this time!!!! DH's reaction - it's twins

Neeerly3 · 26/06/2008 16:37

i am clinging onto the fact that every pregnancy is different - one singleton pregnancy could be completely different from another in the same woman, so this could just be a singleton pregnancy and maybe it's a girl thats why I feel diff!

Neeerly3 · 26/06/2008 16:38
MarkStretch · 26/06/2008 17:13

Neeerly3 your boys are so cute! Are those pg tests from this time round or last?

oooggs · 26/06/2008 17:13

not its not twins neeerly

laidbackinengland · 26/06/2008 19:20

Hi everyone - sorry to hear that some of yoiu have been very sick. How grim . DH is back from his travels and it is nice to have an extra pair of hands !

Have had a long day at work and have been struggling not to become overwhelmed with emotion with some of my patients ..hey ho.

Francisrivis - if you are still checking in - I hope your scan is Ok tomorrow. Thinking of you.

Knax · 26/06/2008 19:42

Thanks Lulubai, Pink Tulips and Tinkerbelles for wise words - they have calmed me down!! Sorry to all you who are suffering with bad sickness, jellie, ooggs and mark stretch!! What a cheek of me to complain re no symptoms!
knax x

WarmFuzzy · 26/06/2008 20:20

I feeeeeeel siiiiiiiiiiiiiiick toooooooooooo

WarmFuzzy · 26/06/2008 20:22

Almost chucked up while changing DS2's nappy the other day . Luckily heard DH's key in the door so could leave it all and ruuuuuuuuuuuun to the loo!

chilledmama · 26/06/2008 20:52

OK...so last time i had bleeding from about 6.5 weeks until 8.5 weeks (on and off), then told my hormone levels were so low I was probably going to miscarry (oh yeah, really nice GP)and that was why I wasn't suffefring from MS. Then early scan was fine and could see little heart pounding away [heart strings pulled emoticon]. Anyway...had private Nuchal scan at 11.5 weeks, got good result then when got 16 week bloods back got a 1:38 result . Went in for counceling about what next etc and asked if they could recalculate taking nuchal into consideration...they said no because I hadn't had bloods done at the same time and if I'd had the bloods then they could take it into account. So, where am I going with this...should I given my last pg ask GP to refer me early so that NHS pays for Nuchal and bloods at 12 weeks (in Portsmouth only get 16 week scan)??????????

WarmFuzzy · 26/06/2008 21:33

I think a private nuchal is between £100-£180. Worth considering?

WarmFuzzy · 26/06/2008 21:34

But yes, in first instance INSIST that your GP refers you.

chilledmama · 26/06/2008 21:43

If NHS wont then I will def be doing privately...already sourced place that does it locally (where I had my nuchal done last time) but after the stress of last time I think I have a decent case for NHS paying

WarmFuzzy · 26/06/2008 22:19

I'm waiting for a dating scan as I have NO IDEA how many weeks I am - I think five. But it COULD be as many as ten as I am HOPELESS at keeping track of things like periods .

Feel like a wally but really hope I find out in time to have a nuchal scan. Shouldn't be too much of a problem getting one as I'm in London but might be if it turns out to be really short notice.

Should think you have a good case for being referred for one. Good luck.

Neeerly3 · 27/06/2008 09:04

mark stretch - from this time round - forgot they were still there! They were only early early days.

LuLuBai · 27/06/2008 10:06

WarmFuzzy - don't know which hospital you are with, but you said London. FYI the Chelsea & Westminster does Nuchal as standard at 12 weeks.

WarmFuzzy · 27/06/2008 10:14

Hi LuLuBai - we are working on the premise that I am five or six weeks right now. But it is possible I could be as many as ten weeks already. If I get a dating scan, say in two weeks time, I will be seven or eight weeks, so not a problem. Or I could be 12 weeks already, so I'd have to have a nuchal scan straight away, so very short notice. If I get a dating scan even later, I could be too late for a nuchal...

rosieposey · 27/06/2008 10:55

Hi All - i have been reading threads on here for a week or so and thought i ought to join and say hello! Am due on Feb 21st 09 and this is going to be my 4th child ( although quite a gap since the last one of 11 years ) not really sure how to go about all this posting business as am a bit of a techie phobe but am sure i will pick it up in no time Just will be nice to have chats with more like me as am a bit nervous after a missed m/c six months ago at 11 weeks and am really looking forward to an early scan on 7th July to confirm that everythings ok. 6 weeks preg tomorrow and it seems like ages to go till 12!!! Also just moved to Wiltshire a month ago from Surrey so lots of changes going on at the mo - ok well thought id introduce myself to you all and wish everybody good luck too grin

McDreamy · 27/06/2008 11:06

Hi Rosie! Whereabouts in Wiltshire are you?

LuLuBai · 27/06/2008 11:10

Ah hello - I'm from Wiltshire but now live in Surrey / London borders

rosieposey · 27/06/2008 11:30

Hi McDreamy - Im on the outskirts of Swindon - nice countryside around here too! :-) Hi LuLu - i sorta miss Guildford a little bit but getting used to it around here now - like i said to Dreamy is gorgeous countryside here. Good news for me as well as i managed to get a private scan for late this afternoon - epau at Great Western hosp said that they would scan me on the 7th as had a tiny bit of spotting in the last few days - but phoned a private clinic yesterday to see if any cancellations and they said they would phone me today if there were and just have ( 5.15 ) this afternoon! Phew pretty pricey but worth it for peace of mind as im hoping they will be able to say if its all ok in there - not expecting to see hb as only 6 weeks tomorrow but after my m/c it would be nice to know if alls developing as it should be. As im new to all this posting milarky how do i actually join this thread - just by posting on it or is there some mysterious joining thingy that i need to do lol?

LuLuBai · 27/06/2008 11:37
