IS ANYONE ELSE PERMANENTLY STARVING ?!!! I am making my way through a packet of salty crackers this morning and just continue to feel really hungry which leads to feeling really sick if I don't eat another. I might give the twiglets a go?!

Hi all, been trying to catch up, not sure I read everything you all posted, but the thought of Twiglets made me feel quite ill!!

I spend most of my time at the mo in a rather vague, tired, nauseous state and I usually go to bed straight after DS (2yo) and only just manage to get up when he does in the morning! Just so tired!

My belly is getting big, and got scan this Thur, so hope to see that our Jelly Bean is well and get a more firm EDD, I hope.

you can sleep on your tummy up until it becomes uncomfortable to do so, and make the most of it as even after baba is born you won't be able to as boobs full of milk do not like being lain on!

I'm still in an underwired bra - those non-wired things are THE thing to make you finally feel horrible and fat and mumsy and all of those things - they are seriously like those old fashioned cross your heart bra/girdle things. Until my bb's are no longer for the underwired world, they are staying put ?! No doubt someone will tell me that I'm doing the wrong thing, but for now those mat bras are staying in the box under my bed with all my mat clothes.....

My underwired bras are staying exactly where they are - on me!!!

bored bored bored bored! but i got some things delivered from ebay today - 2 x jo jo maman bebe wrap tops (like isabella oliver but a fraction of the price) and some jeans that look like they'll last me til about 20 weeks!

Just finding this work lark rather uninspiring at the mo, like I got much better things to think about and i not got time to be here!

biscuitytrousers you can sleep anyway you want, don't listen to anything that says to avoid certain positions. Sleeping on your front will become difficult, imagine lying on a ball, it's a very odd sensation! Sleeping on your right could give you heartburn as your stomach being high could drain. Sleeping on your back could put pressure on the vena cava (major blood vessel that goes down the trunk, behind the womb to the legs) and make you lose feeling in your legs. However, you are very clever! If it hurts or is uncomfortable you will know to move. If it happens in your sleep you will roll over or wake up and move, so don't worry about it! You won't stay in a position that will cause you harm if you do and it's not worth losing sleep over.

WRT underwires, get a proper fitting! As long as they fit properly you should be ok. herbgarden you're not doing the wrong thing, but if that's how you feel about non-wired bras you've not seen many and not had a proper fitting. I'm still in my nursing bras as I still am, they don't look too bad and I don't think I've got that bad a shape.

Hi Ladies, just added myself to the list. Hope that's ok? I cannot get over how tired i am!! I get up in the morning then after an hour i want to go back to bed!? I know this is my 4th pg but don't remember feeling this knackered before . Is anyone thinking about giving birth yet? I know it's very early, but i'm thinking of a home birth. Hi all,
Had pretty awful sickness the last few days, all I have to do is LOOk at the loo and it is enough!
Boob news- I have had to buy a new bra already.
My boobs are so sore and all my bras have started digging in leaving lovely red indents when removed at night (BTW anyone else in seroius pain when removing a bra??) My boobs feel like they weigh ten tons. Even wearing a sports bra at night.
Littleboyblue- yes Im in surrey. V near to Biscuity trousers actaully...
All these Surrey babies- Maybe its all down to the Surrey water!

I am experiencing the same boob problems- taking my bra off is agony.

I am also extremely hungry and popping out of my trousers already.

I am very nauseous but luckily not actually throwing up.

I am so tired I put dd to bed and fell asleep after her bedtime story at 7.20pm. Just dragged my arse out of bed so I sleep well tonight.

Rachrox ...go for a home birth if you feel confident ! My last 2 have been HB's and they rocked ! The last one was so quick I wouldn't have made it to hospital if I had tried - so have been told this one will have to be at home as I live 10 miles from the nearest hospital !

Herbgarden, I am permanently starving also!! I get whims which MUST be satisfied, they come and go... roast beef sandwiches, p biscuits, crisps (generally Cheese, like Wotsits and Cheddars how teenage!, watermelon, Frosties, watercress - it is totally random and what I just had to have yesterday makes me feel queasy thinking about it today.

Markstretch, am also having trouble in the bra department. Bbs are extremely uncomfortable ATM and I too am a fan of underwired bras (only ever wear u/w bras). Whilst shopping this morning I tried on a soft cup one and it was heavenly compared to u/w. BUT it gave me a matronly shape because bbs are so swollen, so I didn't get it. It's bad enough having big unwieldy ones without making them look worse too! A soft non-wired bra will never be the same as a decent underwired balconette bra (my fave style).

morning all.

i'm stuck in the house with the kids again as the weather is appalling again. i'm suprised they haven't mutinied yet, poor mites mmust be so bored!

am with the underwire club on this one, hate the look of soft cup bra's, they make my boobs look awful and they go so far up my chest i can't wear 80% of my clothes without them showing.

i'll only be able to wear bras for another month or so anyway, i broke a couple of ribs right by my bra line 2 years before having dd and they get chronicly sore once my ribcage starts expanding, i find i can't tolerate a bra at all after that as it's so painful..... you can imagine what state my boobs are in after 2 pregs gone braless

kids are crawling around on the floor pretending to be cats... dd is the mommy cat and ds is the baby apparently. they've been playing this game for an hour... that's the longest they've ever gone without trying to rip each others eyes out..... calm before the storm methinks!

Just added myself on to the list. Had a scan yesterday, am 8 weeks. Baby looked good, very strong heartbeat - looked like a little dormouse!

I am shattered and very hungry, wish I could just curl up on the sofa but DD2 just woke up. Oh well, the life of a mother, work work work.

It's very spooky as all of DS's godparents or their wives are pregnant all due from mid Nov till boxing day and now we are joining the party - wasn't expecting it to happen this quickly as too ages last time, but on the plus side only had 2 periods since DS was born. Getting slighlty worried about all the doubles of things we're going to have to buy and hoping DS will sleep through the night before DC2 arrives and telling work that i'll be off again

Kazzal what will your age gap be between DS1 and DC2? I will have 17 months, am dreading it tbh!

It's going to be 22mths, so not really close - some of my friends have less than 1yr between DC1 & 2 - we wanted them quite close so they would be able to play togther, but now it's happened and we start thinking about the logistics - getting a bit nervous
