Morning everyone - hope all OK.

Titch yes early pregnancy does feel quite a lot like being premenstrual - crampy tum, swollen boobs, spotty, headachy and emotional and a little bit fat.

Lovely.

And you don't get any sympathy from anyone until the second trimester when the bump appears and illogically you start feeling better again.

I wish I knew when my scan was gonna be. The midwife is going to call, but I've no idea how quick/slow they are about it. I'm going to Amsterdam tomorrow morning til Tuesday evening so if they don't call today... boo hoo.

Still got nausea, although I think it's a little better, not going back to bed moaning mid morning anyway!

Going out with my mate for a drink tonight, but of course will not be able to drink. I guess I might say I have a urinary infection, as I might actually have one!

My pregnancy does not really feel period-y to me but they're all different aren't they!

Morning all,
I have also been having wierd cramps- on and off for 2 weeks now.
This is my first so was V worried but have been TOLD its normal- as long as pain not too severe and no blood.
I think it's the uterus stretching or something.
Annie- I have an ovarian cyst, was due for op, then found out I was preggers so they have left it in. Thankfully, my cyst has got a litle smaller already though so am hoping baby will kick it away completely!
Rachrox- I too think by the time I get to 12 weeks everyone will know. I have too big a mouth...

Lulubai, it feels just like that - like the couple of hours before period starts...don't always feel like that, comes and goes.
LittleSarah - i think you're right, every pregnncy must be different judging by all the diffrent stories people tell you!
I had my docs ppointment erlier and w a bit disapppointed, she didn't tell me much i didn't know, didn't take any bloods or anything (i thought she would) and I won't get my booking appointment until about 11th week, so won't see a midwife til then either...it all felt a bit vague. I was thinking of ringing up the community midwives to ask them couple of things - is this ok to ring them out the blue? I haven't told anyone except DH and one colleague at work...usually i'd be talking all this through with Mum and BF!

Hi everyone, it's still morning here! I have my first doctor's appointment later on, nobody knows except immediate family. I'll see two of my best friends this weekend and will probably tell them too, I'd also tell them if I miscarried...
McDreamy, I had an emergency section last time, and recovered more quickly than I expected, so I'd actually rather another section this time. First time was assisted delivery with ventouse and episiotomy; that was actually worse! I can grow 'em but not push 'em out very well

Yes,Hi and good afternoon.

Feeling really low today. My morning sickness started the other day and then suddenly went. Today I feel really sick so just manged a bowl of flakes and horrible uht milk (all you can buy here). It tastes of plastic and reminds me of camping holidays.

I am stuggling to keep my eyes open, so I keep nipping off for a nap while kids are at school. I should be cleaning, but it is so hot and I have an excuse.

I have told everyone I can that I am pregnant. I thought it was best as I have already had two mc's. When I did not tell anyone I was pregnant it was much harder to explain that I had, had a mc. I think they were expecting me to be pregnant again soon, so I thought that I would just tell them just in case. Now I have a little more support as they understand how I am feeling. This is my third pregnancy in the last 10 months. People are always asking me how I feel and are able to offer some good advice or sympathy. I think I need that.

I have to laugh at the fact that I got married without telling anyone I was pregnant. I found out just 12 weeks before and I was already about 13 weeks. I did not want anyone to think I was getting married for the sake of it. That was 14 years ago and things have changed. I had two wedding dresses and did not know which one I was wearing until the day. People only realised when they saw how big my flowers were. They touched the floor and were as wide as me. I suppose you can not really hide a 20 week pregnancy though, but I did try.
