Well I'm back from dinner. DH took us out. We live next door to a marina that has a restuarant/bar. Fortunately it was early so not too many folks got to witness DD dancing like a crazy lady (lordy she's going to be a wild one when she's old enough to drink....takes after me, unfortunately). Couldn't eat all my cheeseburger. Belly is just cutting into my consumption holding area.

I'm going to have to spend the evening sorting out my Facebook account.

The queues outside that place are mad on an even vaguely sunny day. Never even tried it myself. Far too happy with store of magnums at home. Always willing to try a new ice-cream though!

DH managed to break Fat Face's chip & pin machine on the first day of their Christmas sale with his cracked credit card. They were v. good about it, but putting their machine out of action for 48hrs at the start of the sale wasn't good so we haven't ventured in there since - not that they'd remember. Done the bank balance no harm though!

Forgot to say Dizzy, I saw you on the Come Dine with Me thread. Did you know that they're looking for people for a prog. in this area...?

TwilightSurfer · 13/06/2008 23:27

Goodness I'm glad I don't have as many friends as Dizzy. I've started sorting folks into groups to keep me straight. OH and here's my inner nerd for you...I just put a sticky note on my laptop with MN names/RL names. sssmmmaaarrrttt....

DD woke me coughing. That can't be good. Now I'm up because I feel sick again. Trying to eat so I won't puke. Sorry to complain first thing.

Any word about her this morning??

Morning ladies. I've added some of you on Facebook from twilight's friends list. Feel free to add me if I've missed you. You can surely work out my name from my MN name

Does anybody else have pain in the groin area that carries on to the pubic bone area? It's only on the left side and really kills of a night, I think it is normal though

alittlebitshy · 14/06/2008 10:36

Morning ladies.
I sneaked off to bed last night and missed out on a lot more chat (dh came back and needed to work (pah) on the puter). I was asleep by 10!!!!

dd and I went out for brekkie and came back to find the bouncy castle already up in our garden for the fete. dd has gone to chill out with cbeebies - bad mummy - for a bit before the fete starts. I've put some washing on so I feel i've done something productive!

Love the new thread title.

ooops who are you on Mn - give us a clue for who to hunt for on dizzy's list.

alittlebitshy · 14/06/2008 10:44

oops obv i meant facebook not mn - cos you're oops on Mn. doh

VintageGardenia · 14/06/2008 11:01

Hi all, hope you got back to sleep TS.

Enjoy the fete, albs, good fun for your dd to have all that going on in her garden! We will all be expecting some chocalatey traybakes from you for tonight's snacks so make sure you head for the right stall, ignore the one which says Lava Lamps 50p only.

Shazza that doesn't sound too nice, poor you. I can't say I've had it myself but I'm sure someone wiser will be along in a bit. I don't[ know if I've got you on FB or not, I'm not sure who everyone is!

Out and about today, talk later.

VintageGardenia · 14/06/2008 11:06

Shazza I think I've got you from albs.

cyteen · 14/06/2008 12:01

Wotcha I can't keep up with you all, you crazy chatterboxes! Ended up having an even quieter night than usual last night as both DP and I were feeling under the weather - dizzy, you'll be glad to hear that I did in fact have salad and water for tea (it was very tasty though). Also watched a great film called La Hora Fria which turned out to be not at all what I was expecting - thought I was in for epic scares, but got thought-provoking and rather sad instead. Another top quality Spanish film

Have had a nice lazy morning - both my cats were lovely and calm last night (I'm so glad I've started letting them out!) and this morning my boycat decided to get in bed with us, snuggling up under the covers and laying his head on the pillow like a tired old man

Supposed to be going pram shopping later but we'll see...we managed to get our hands on our friends' M+P Pliko in the end and both really like it, so there's every chance we'll just pick that one I might just stay in and bake instead.

Morning ladies.
Just waking...again. Still feel icky, tummy troubles too. I must admit this was EXACTLY how I felt the last two weeks I was pregnant with DD1. Makes me nervous. I even had a mild panic feeling when I was up the first time. I keep telling myself that NO MATTER WHAT the doctor can KNOCK ME OUT and cut this baby out in less than an hour's time...I'd never know what him me. Strange thought, I know, but it gives me some peace.

Managed to organize FB a bit last night and sent a notice out to group this morning. For the record, I DID LOOK at all pictures posted. I'm probably the ONLY person on the planet who enjoys sitting through anybody's family vacation videos and looking through photo albums....especially where people have been to places I haven't.

No word from Captain yet..... Worries me. I don't want to bother her DH so I just post my support here instead of emailing her again.

Shazza I get a pain like you're describing from time to time. Try sitting/semi-laying over on the right side for a little bit and see if the baby moves/slides off/outof the area. Works for me. I've been moving this kid around for weeks now. She doesn't seem to mind.
